Somewhere out there
I have a couple of the EGO mega tanks that came with an Evic battery that I ordered long ago. Had never tried them so I guess it may be time. LOL
I like the idea of being able to rebuild on those coils.
:)
If you got the CLR coil it is rebuildable. I bought several packs of them :)

After vaping on it for a day, I really like Ego One V2 with rebuildable CLR coils, the 1.0 Coil is a bit low ohm's for me but at 9-10 watts, gives me a nice Vape, so I recommend it for anyone looking for other rebuildables for their stash. I am wondering if anyone uses rayon to rewick these? I like rayon better than cotton now :)

I use rayon, works just fine. :)

Just got this in and its huge. Also comes with a clear tank. So far only down side is the tank isn't glass.

I used to want one of these tanks- not sure why I never bought it. That might be a good thing since the mod I would've used it on, I gave away.
Looking forward to your impressions of it.

I agree that the risk of batteries being rebranded by an US seller is minimal, but I doubt we can be 100% sure of that either. It is easy to state authentic but again, we as consumers, probably at least 99% of us does not have a way to determine it.

I only know of it happening once, but there was a vendor that bought and resold rebranded batts and they swore they thought they were authentics. This was several years ago and I have only heard of it one time, but it has made me wary of batt vendors...

Yeah, I am aware of the high risk of the counterfeit issue for the batteries. On Ebay, I focus only on US sellers and based on my 15+ years experience with them, I am always cautious when buying from a new seller. So far, I have never ever been burned. Knocking on wood......
However, not all sellers are bad, just a small percentage. Amazon as an example is not better IMHO.

FT and GB offers a little better pricing but as you said, packages with batteries does not arrive. GB states that batteries cannot be shipped to US while FT adds a ridiculous charge for another shipping method.

With a reputable large company whose main focus is on batteries, we should be safe.

Oh well, with all the chinese, I recall years ago, while I had a business, I spoke to a manufacturer representative. It was said, "give us a sample and we will copy it to the exact specifications for a good price".

The seller i deal with on ebay is just a bit more than what you found, theirs are $59 shipped for 10,but i have been dealing with them for 2 years now,and never an issue. This is all they deal with is batteries and chargers. The sellers user id that i deal with is Genuinecells, they are in Florida.

I am a huge STM fan and have all kinds of parts for them.

Best part for the STM I have used yet? The bell caps from Fasttech. They are fantastic. I buy authentic bases and RBAs and the cap (about $1.25 each) and drip tips and I have a full STM for about $12.
Yep got 10 of the bellcaps.

Same here. I was going to get another 5, but I really don't think I would ever get to them. They are really solid and the 10 should last me for years.
Been using one a few months on and off and have yet to notice any degradation of the threads or anything.

I've been off the forums for the most part the last month. Just lurking here and there. I still have yet to buy a single thing post 8/8. I've grown comfortable with just waiting for signs of danger before buying anything else. I'm testing longevity of PC tanks for my kayfuns. I've been vaping the same 3 tanks in rotation for 2 months straight without having to replace any parts. I'm rotating my mods too. Every battery I switch mods. I have them lined up in date order of last use in my closet. It's an attractive army lined up I must say.

My wife is going to use all the istick internal batts until they die. I wonder how long that will be? One of my 30 watts is 2 years old and still acts good as new. Between the 30's and 40's I'm wondering if she can run 5 years on them? Is that possible for an internal batt?

It's all going to be dependent on how many charge cycles the mod goes through. On average, you're looking at around 300-500 cycles before you start seeing the battery performance start to seriously degrade.

My istick 20W is about 6 months old and works great, except that the button started sticking about a week or two ago. My guess is I'll toss it when it sticks hard enough that I can't unstick it.

I've been bottom filling with a simple dropper bottle and long pointy dropper tip. I used to top fill all the time but one of my pc tanks stripped the top threads and popped open in my pocket. Not terribly fun. lol. The only time I unscrew now is a new wick every 4 days or a new coil every month or 2. I have at least 40 PC tanks in stock. Probably more. Not to mention the stash of 3 piece metal/pc that I haven't been using.

If you are careful with your Kayfun bell caps. Yoy are going to have to wait a while before they give up.

See that little Atty in my Avatar? I have been using that little bell cap on my Kayfun Monster Mini V3 base, and now on a Lite plus V2 base day in day out for a year.

If you use Cinnamon or Citrus juices your milage may vary.

I'm looking pretty good them. She has 5 of them and 3 of them are pretty new. She likes picos and other smaller mods but the smaller size and usb charging makes her life easy. I just want to get max usage out of what I have on hand so her burning them up is a good thing.

I had an old istick 20 that was sticking. I used a can of compressed air and blew around the cracks of the button and then took a small dab of dialectric grease and pushed it into the spaces. Cleaned it right up. Dialectric grease is super cheap and can be found at any hardware or auto parts store. It's made for electrical connections and contains no petroleum. Silicone only.

I did the air thing and alcohol thing but neither worked. Will try the grease. Thanks for the suggestion.

The istick line is my favorite kind of battery holder. I bought my first 20 watt back in November 2014. Once in hand I added another 20, 2 10's, 8 30's, 1 each 40 and 100 over the next few months. :D The only problem I have had so far is the button has lost it's click on one of the 20's. It still fires but the click is gone. I got the 100 because it takes replaceable batteries and I will save it for use when and if I ever find I need a double battery device, so for now it is in my someday box. 2 of the 30's got used through 1 charge, charged back up and added to the use when others die box. Hubby uses 2 of the 30's and I rotate through the others except the 100.
By rotating them the way I do I expect them to last a very very long time since each of them only gets charged maybe once a week. Most of my toppers use the ego threading so I use adapters on all of my isticks. I think that will prevent the problems some folks have had with stripped threads. I really don't think it is out of line to expect them to last at least 5 years. I actually expect longer than that.
