I would be shocked if clones are available for as cheap as they are currently in the next couple of years. China will still make them and it won't be that hard to ship into countries like the US where they will be regulated/prohibited/taxed, but the days of useable $10 Nemmy clones will likely come to an end in the coming years IMO.

I have tons of mechs (almost 30) so I have no concerns about my ability to vape for the rest of my life, but I would hate to see Newbies watching YouTube videos with soldering iron in hand building potential bombs.

I have never soldered a thing but the mod may be my first.

Your lucky. 30? I am only at 10. 5 & 5 authentic v clone.
I need to get my pockets full and then I'll empty them again.

I actually think the FDA deeming will make no difference on price. There is a big world out there that will increase vaper wise in the next few years. It might get harder to acquire here but the world market should not change.

If I may ask, where did you find your RM2 extra screws?
I keep stalking the site, and he's been out of them for awhile.

The RM2 takes the M2 x 4mm flat top screws. I picked up some extra's from Fasttech. 80 cents for 10 of them.

I got them from the REO site shortly after I first heard about the government deciding it knew best, a while back. You might send Rob an email directly, sometimes the website is not accurate.

I got all my flavors 30 ml and up transferred to glass bottles today. Took awhile but done with that for years and years :) Kept the small sizes in the plastic since I'll use them up first. I still have a liter of Nic to put in bottles, will get to that maybe tomorrow.

I got my cobalt blue boston rounds today for my deeming nic. Now I got my work cut out for me. Looks like we will be filling bottles for a while.

I have lots of flavorings but since starting to vape unflavored I seldom use them. I will just leave them in their little plastic bottles and use a little now and then for a change up. Unfortunately after a few hours I am sick of the flavors and want my unflavored again. Funny how that happened but such a simple change (unflavored nicquid) made my life so much easier.

And I STILL don't have any Provari's. :)

i was thinking about the FDA lawsuit years ago that they lost and it was tossed out of court. remember back when they tried to say they were going to regulate vaping as a drug delivery device and the judge told them flat out no. perhaps we are looking at something similar now. maybe a judge will throw this out because what they are proposing is to make it far more regulated then cigarettes. take something that's far less dangerous then cigarettes and treat it like its 10x worse. i hope greg conley knows what he is doing. he is basically our representation. provide all scientific studies done on vaping, including the royal college of physicians.

Oh mine are more than empty now. :(

I have 10 authentics (Gus, GP, HoH and Nemmys) and 18-19 clones. I invested a chunk in a couple of my authentics, but most were under $100 new. My clones were all under $20 (most under $10) and I rotate thru all of them regularly which is always fun.:)

I have no need to ever make my own mod nor would I want to bother when I can vape on a Knight or Fire of Life clone that cost me under $6 and are nearly indestructible. :thumb:

Im done buying basically everything in any case.

I just ordered over a litre of the flavours my wife and I use regularly (grape, strawberry ripe, cotton candy, vanilla custard) and a few new ones to try, so that is over a year worth of our daily juices.

I've gone hard with my stocking up in the last 6 months and I am not even looking at sales any more. Buying much more would be reactive just because I WANT something. I have no need for anything except PG/VG for a couple of years and only PG/VG and more flavouring in the coming decades.

Jumping in here.
I have been making my own e liquid for over 5 years now so that is not an issue BUT I have never put it in glass for freezing as been said here.
Currently I have what would be 12 L at my preferred nic level ( 1 L of 200 mg, 1 L of 100 mg and 1 L of 48 mg) in the freezer in original plastic containers they came in.
So my question is what kind of glass stands up to the freezer? I have glass for all my mixing ..... current flavor mixes.
As for stocking other hardware I have to do it carefully as I do not have a income that has any wiggle room. That is why I have been mixing my own for years.
You are all making me worried about hardware ..... tanks, coils batteries (various types) I don't have :( I have two MVP box mod, a couple of clover Overlord 11 twists and the rest are ego twists... that all that I have been able to afford. My tanks are Nautilus mini tanks, Aerotank mini and Smok MIcro Core ADC 11 dual coil clearomizers. I clean those coils until they no longer work to stretch out the costs of them. I have some 510s for testing my mixes that is about it. Well other than the hundreds of the old mega cartomizers that I have never thrown out. So stocking up not easy if have to hold out more than a year to find something affordable.
But if need glass for storing base mix in freezer I will do that just please let me know what glass will stand up to the freezer temp.
Reading this thread has been an education.........wish I could be there with you :)
Oh by the way fasttech is no longer sending out batteries. Edit for this info added.

Boston rounds (brown or blue) are best IMO but honestly any dark thick glass with a good cap that won't rust or degrade will work fine. I have 100mg NIc in 750ml and 1l beer growler bottles in the freezer along with 50/100/250ml Boston rounds. You don't need to spend a fortune on bottles to freeze.

While I have not bought any, but if clear bottles are considerably cheaper and you are buying a large quantity they will be just fine as long as you are also storing the bottles in a opaque container of some type (box etc.) inside the freezer... The key is to keep out the light.

Wizard labs sells Nic and flavorings. I have bought both from them. You will find more flavor selection and brands at a place like One Stop DIY Shop or GemlinsDIY tho.
Wizard Labs now sells Flavourart and Flavor West in addition to their previous huge selection of TFA, LA, Capella and Inawera. And their prices are excellent - definitely a good place for any new DIYer to get up and running (er...mixing)

Don't sweat it, some of us just went overboard with shinyitis. I would suggest one or two mechanical mods when you can get them, lots are out there for 6 to 10 bucks. The Nemesis is a good clone and can be had for under 10.00. Coils are a bit iffy. Would be good to have one rba and material to build your own wicks. I would think you could get all this for under 30.00. Ask any questions you want here, lots of helpful folks to guide you along.

Oh, one thing I should mention. I can not say it is across the board, but I have had where one vendor's bottle caps do not fit another's - the sizes were the same, but the thread pattern was just enough different that they did not seal properly...

    Thank you all.
I never have worried about the containers before. Last major stock up prior to the one I am working with now I never even froze it. Used the base mix for 3 years all I noticed was a bit of a bitter taste so this time I decided to freeze.
I store the Liters of base mix in another rubber maid container in bottom of my stand alone freezer box style. Everything else that goes in that freezer is vacuum packed so not worried about contamination. What is in there now I bought a year ago and not noticed any problems with taking out and mixing up my e liquid but this was the largest amount I have ever bought before and the strongest nicotine levels. I will get the glass and transfer it into them as soon as I can ...wrap the glass with bubble wrap maybe just to be sure nothing.
I was about to buy an
Eleaf 40 W from fasttech when I found out they were not shipping batteries anymore as well as a new tank set up ( iJust2 mini ) which I have ordered with 10 extra coils) but now need to find an Eleaf I can afford to use the tank with lol

What about getting a Pico? They are inexpensive and many of us really like those.
