You won't find a better clone than the kayfun lite plus V2 by E.H Pro . I changed out all the bases on mine with the Monster bases from FT . Vastly superior airflow & fit perfectly .

Hard to believe it's October already isn't it? Not too many more days before the oral arguments before Judge Amy Berman in the court case and then it shouldn't be too much longer after that we will know how she chooses to rule. There will be challenges to however she rules, but her ruling is so important to set the stage for whatever comes next.

I am hopeful about the ruling but now realize that no matter what happens with the FDA stuff, vaping in my state is in an even worse situation.

I finally tracked down why VB isn't shipping to WA. It has to do with revisions/laws about the Clean Air Act. Basically, you can't smoke/vape anywhere except designated smoking areas. Those are few and far between and I suspect will be eliminated soon. No smoking/vaping in any building or public area, including parks, concerts.

VB stopped selling because of the label requirements, part of the CAA, I guess. If this continues, even if the FDA is shot down (doubt that will happen), the states can take over and effectively ban vaping. I foresee not being able to buy anything except perhaps from China.

I have a monster base, but it looks like it would be way too airy for me with those gigantic holes. Doesn't look like you can close them down any.

I've got some of those tanks so I'm interested. I noticed this in the description

510 threading connection w/ copper center screw

How does that work? The 510 screw on that mod is the same pin piece that contains the air channel and holds the positive block on the deck. Is the whole thing copper? Or is the copper screw a separate piece. And if so is the 510 screw adjustable?

I have never ordered from FT, or anywhere in China.
I want to get a Kayfill tool, I haven't seen them available anywhere else, so I guess this will be a first for me.

I told Oplholic i could tell the difference between the authentic and the EHPRO clones because the eh pro clones had better airflow.

I believe it's a single piece if i remember correctly , don't have the base with me now , all i know is that it works , unscrew the old and screw on the new .

I don't think it's too airy but it may be for others . It reminds me of a subtank mini with the RBA set to the largest air slot actually .

There is clearly some resistance with the Monster base i got , mine has the dual holes . Some claim the single large hole is even more airy . Could be a V3 base.

Ya, as long as the FDA is allowed to classify our ecigs as a tobacco product I think we are in for huge problems from most of the states in the coming year There will be problems even without that designation, but with it it will be impossible to stop.

Even buying from China will be a problem for those in states that ban internet sales of our ecigs the same as they now ban internet sales of cigarettes.

My own personal reason for needing to be 100% done before the first of the year is that we leave for Florida in December and don't come home until mid April. Unless I have an emergency I don't spend time with ecig stuff while we're gone. I'm guessing that when the NYS budget proposal comes out Jan 1st the governor will propose high taxes on our ecigs (we've had 75% tax proposed last year although it didn't go anywhere thankfully) and quite possibly the same internet ban on ecig purchases as we have on other tobacco products. If my guess is right, then when the new budget goes into effect April 1st taxes and no internet sales would be in effect when I got home. I'm not willing to take the chance I'm guessing wrong so I choose to be totally prepared before we leave.

Wow that is a scarey thought. I'm thinking we must be pretty done by Dec 31 too because after that the flood gates could open in most states hammering on their new tobacco vape taxes.

I have a Nebula Wine tank that the base looks just like the monster bases. I haven't used mine yet because it's way to airy for me even though I like airy MTL vaping. I figure I use a vape band to place over the hole and adjust it that way.

I figure I'll get around to trying it. I can try plugging one hole with something , or partially covering both holes with something, probably scotch tape just to see how it is.
