pick the first option,, never ship DHL to the states.....its part of the Jones Act,,,-->>non American. as an American you might want to use them to ship something to Europe,, but you will wait through an incredible customs process on the receiving end here in the states........when I worked ships,, it was a major thing to avoid my parts coming in DHL if i planned to put them on the ship here,, if i was simply arranging for the parts to chase the ship to Rotterdam.. then i was ok
You must have worked ships a long time ago....cause I have had DHL delivered from China to me in three days. Maybe it depends on the type of product being shipped?
It is expensive so I don't use it often...Depended on the company.
its been almost 2 years since i left a major shipping company.....i suppose things could have changed or you may be paying for expedited delivery,, but i highly doubt the jones act has changed.
I hate those clear barrels. The threads on the barrel is scratchy at best.
The short drip tip on that bellcap is Removeable. They fit very tightly but you can remove them and put in a standard DT.
I only used DHL once from China and overpaid as I needed some coils that simply weren't available in the US. Three days to my door with no issue. What is the Jones act you're referring to and how would it affect a DHL delivery?
Any of the times I used DHL from China it was 3 days or less to my door from shipping acknowledgement and tracking info received.
The Jones Act has to do with merchant marines and their work...much like workman's comp is here in the states. Not sure of what kross8 was referring to in terms of DHL shipping.

Darn, I was going to order five of those caps. Does lubricating the threads help, are they ok otherwise?
Lets put it this way the threads on thoss barrels are so bad: wben i get those i put tge clear barrel in the trash and put in a Steel barrel. I would never use them unless i had absolutely NO choice.
Ok, thanks for that info. I want those because they seem to be the only ones available in a clear cap. I have extra barrels for them to use.
Have you had any problems with leaking past the o-ring where the bottom of the cap meets the top of the base? It seems the o-rings on the base need to be just a bit bigger to seal around the cap. I have been using a couple of wraps of dental floss under the o-rings to expand them a little.

@oplholik - I ordered the bell caps whose SKU # is 5925200. It's a 5-pack of different colors. Have the red one in use right now on 1 of their bases and using 1 of their chimney bases. Have had no leaks or other problems so far from it.

I got one Kayfun base with an O ring that was too thin. I have some spare O rings put one of them on and NO more leaks.
