Actually, I think the pin with the larger hole in the .5Ω can be swapped out for the pin that the 1.0Ω uses. I think I've read that. So when a 1.0Ω gives up on you, keep the pin, and use it in the 1.0Ω when you need it. That'll work, right? Now you have heads for $4.50.
What is this place with the .5's on sale?

Yelp!
Received my order from GB today for some small stuff incl. TFV4 coils. Upon putting that in the drawer, I saw that there is a pack of TFV8 coils and confirmed that a TFV8 RBA is on the way from FT.
BUT! I do not have that tank! Went through my stash and past orders umptieleven times but nowhere can I see it. OMG! Seem like in the stocking up frenzy my mind was set that I had a TFV8 tank and went ahead to order coils for it. Dang it!
I do have a few each of TFV4 standard, micro, one each of RTA and mini. Love the longevity of the Q4 coils, last me 200 ml/1-2 months on average. So, why the heck did I think I had a TFV8 tank?
Oh well, guess an Alien kit is on top priority for black friday.
The stocking up never ends......

Well, it was Smoke-Evolution, but as of about 10:00AM or thereabouts, their website was shut down. I'd ordered some things for my neighbor at 8:42AM and it was up and running fine then.

Emailed them to find out what happened and if/how people could still get some stuff they had on their site. The owner called me, and it seems their web host told them it would be closed sometime today, but didn't say when during the day. They were surprised it was this AM, too.

They DO still have things that people can still buy. I didn't get info on anywhere near ALL of it I'd seen on their site this AM, but on some things I know people mentioned getting before on here. (They're really nice people, and the FDA just put the screws to them, so they closed. Maybe we can help them just alittle bit more.) If any of the following sounds like things you need and could use, please PM me, and I'll tell you how to go about ordering and paying for it from them. He said S/H would be a flat $3.50 no matter how many things you order.

Still have this at these final discounted prices:

Silicone sleeves for the following -
Eleaf iStick 20W/30W: black, red, blue, & clear - $.50 ea.
Eleaf iStick 50W: white, blue, light red - $.50 ea.
The above are Eleaf brand sleeves, not generic ones
Wismec RX200: (2) white ones only - $1.00 ea.
IPV4 + IPV4S (fits both): (1) purple, (1) gray, (1) blue, (2) green, and (2) red - $1.00 ea.

Replacement Coils - Sold individually
Innokin iClear 16: (3) 1.5, (10) 1.8, (4) 2.5 - $.50 ea.
Someone bought the 5 boxes of coils, about 14 minutes after I posted about them! Must have found them through a Google search for the particulars I gave.

Replacement Glass - Sold individually
STM: (1) purple - $2.00
Aspire Atlantis: many red, purple, and blue - $2.00
Eleaf Lemo I: a bunch of clear - $2.00
Eleaf Lemo II: (5) clear - $2.00

Plastics - Sold individually
STM Bell Caps: many in clear, blue, and red - $2.00
KFL + KFL+ Small Window Tank Section: many in blue, green, pink, and purple, (2-3 only) in clear - $.50 ea.

Kuro Style Koiler (clone)
Black (3mm): only has 1 left - $2.00

eGo charger (made by Aspire) - has 12 left - $2.00 ea.

I remember they also still had a large variety of drip tips (metal, glass, brass/glass, wood, ceramic, etc.); several different RDAs by Tobeco; eGo Cone Sleeve Covers in Type B, C, and D for $.50 ea.; carto punches; some wire of different types; etc., etc. Can always email them for exact info. on those things or to check and see if they have something else. I remember many things, but definitely not all of them by name.

PM me if interested in ordering any of the above, and/or if you'd like their email info. to get specifics on the last things mentioned.

Best excuse I've read yet to justify buying a new tank.

Somewhere out there
@bnrkwest - Was it the JoyeTech eGo One Mega CLR Coils that you said you use? I found a place that has (5) 5-packs of the 0.5 ohms, for $5.00/pack after a 50% discount! PM me if it was you, and you can use the 0.5 ohms.
Wow good price! I use the 1.0 ohms tho and I actually am liking my Kayfun's so much just may not stock up on any more of those :)

This whole thread started as a result of the FDAs deeming regulations. Being prepared and self sufficient.

You are absolutely correct. And after 794 pages and 15,873 posts, I think it's OK to finally declare, NO, we're not done stocking up.:lol:

I kinda caught a "BF bug" so now I have a bunch of different mods and BF RDA's on the way to compliment my stable.

Funny really, I had ventured into just about everything else I could think of in regards to vaping I thought I might be interested in long before. Somehow I missed this one.

(then again it seems lately everyone is releasing inexpensive Squonkers)

Same here.I have tried endless amounts of different types of tanks, rta's,mech mods, regulated mods, etc.,but for a long time bottom feeders just never crossed my path. Then, because of the same as you mention,a couple inexpensive sqounkers popped up and that is all it took to get me going haha.I started off back when the smokeless owl came out,and i have been hooked since. Now i have 6 mech sqounkers,a Dripbox,Dripbox 160,2 vaporflask sqounkers, another i built with a Dna 40,a Wraith, and just got a Lost Vape Halcyon a few weeks back, plus a large selection of rda's that either came with bottom feed pins,or i have done conversions on.It just never ends, when i thought i had everything i could ever want,i just had to start sqounking haha.

These little tiny Kayfuns impressed me too.

Very good but not fantastic flavor.

Spare part availabiliy so can keep it going almost forever.

    Relatively easy to build

    Easy to wick.

    Decent amount of vapor.

    What's not to like?
