That id one great benefit of being prepared. Yoy have supplies to last months so when toy see a bargain on something go ahead and scoop it up.I spent a whopping $11 this week at FT.... 2 Griffin parts kits, 3 Griffin replacement glass tanks and 100 premade 0.5ohm 24ga kanthal coils.
Re: the coils.... just over $0.05 each for a very well reviewed 100 pack of coils in the resistance I use in my Subtank Minis is a no brainer. I have well over 1000 feet of wire, but I can't make a coil for $0.05!
My spending has slowed down considerably. I am now just buying when things are so cheap, it makes sense to add to the stockpile. Even then, my buying days are coming to an end as I have so much gear.
A LOT of people kicked against the Kayfun 5 or Mini v3 because tge airflow was too loose. With tge Mini V3 i could take a slightly restrictive Lung hit on tge Mini V3.It really does look beautiful... i would already have one if i didn't see so many neg comments about the airflow, but i don't like tight draws anyway, i prefer airy...
Very good point. Some mods have a spring loaded 510 and others have a stationary 510. Mg Friend Bill was using an X6 battery witg CE4 clwaromiser. Hs had to get a GS H2 after breaking his CE4. LATER he picked up other CE4 but they wouldnt work because tge GS H2 had pushed tge 510 so tge CE4s NO longer made contactHave you tried the Melo 3 tank on another mod or two ? Sounds like you've most likely have a problem with the tank's 510 connection pin not making contact with the mod's 510 pin. I'd try other mods first to see if it works on them. You may need to gently, using fingernails or a pin to pull the pin out a bit. Gentle being the key word here![]()
Ive been. Vaping 0 mg for almost 11 months.been several months now at 0mg nic,, with occasional visits to 2mg,,i do like the nic hit here and there,, made up some 3mg and it kicked my .... lol.,,, backed it down to 1mg.
Mike there is a difference between prepping and hoarding. Not going to stock up on anything. I believe if there is anything worth hoarding years worth of supplies to ensure continued use it might be a problem lol. Don't get me wrong I love my vape I really really do. But if it comes down to it I guess I will just quit . If the tobacco companies were facing a similar situation which I really wish they were I would not run out and buy 20 years worth of smokes. I hate that this is even an issue , what a damn shame considering what we now know aND also what we dont. I find it criminal to take something like this away from those who need it or may have been able to use it in the future to get off the nasty smokes , which nobody disputes are the most dangerous , deadly , consumer product ever let loose on society. Still though I won't be a slave to any of it . If it's gone it's gone , unfortunate as it may be . It really makes me mad but I won't be stock piling anything.
Now that's preparedness.
I teach high school and the move to technology 99% of the time and the constant dog and pony shows have me wore out!
But soon that fixed income will be staring back at me and I never feel like I have enough blister packs to last me 20 years!
I can build coils but I haven't dipped my toes into DIY yet!
USA made coils are crazy expensive generally.I could use some good pre built coils! My eyesight and crazy hands will appreciate it! I have never bought pre builts but I think it's time!
Are there any that are made in the USA?

These seem great for the price. Good reviews and a few resistance/wire options.....

I retired 3 months before my 51st birthday! I'd taught school for 30 years (which I dearly loved), and would have taught for 5-10 more easily, but too many changes I didn't like were coming to our school district. Friends said, "Won't you be bored...being retired at only 51?" I told them I doubted it, but I'd let them know in a few years. Never been bored yet, and that was just slightly more than 12 years ago!
I honestly don't know how I had the time to teach, grade papers and make parent phone calls at night... AND sell part-time on eBay, take care of 8+ critters including horses, and the rest of my normal activities! My health has remained excellent, especially since I quit smoking nearly 3 years ago. Only thing is...I don't like the weight gain that came with AT ALL!
So, I'm with you - retire while you can still enjoy life, do things you've always wanted to do, take up new hobbies or interestes if you want to, travel, etc. Too many wait too late to actually enjoy their retirement years IMO.

I started mass producing coils a while ago. Whenever I made coils for my Protanks I made a few extra and put them in a box. Plan was to build up a lifetime supply. Installing them is a lot easier than winding them. I did the calculations and it wouldn't take too many hours work to get where I want to be. Made a couple of extra Kayfun coils as well. Figured I could do it now while my eyes and hands are still capable. I guess eventually I will get to where I can't even install them.
I got lazy though. I started using coils from the stash box. One of these days I'll get back on track.
Oh I'll still be very active, just removing a major portion of BS from my life. My focus is going to be to enjoy life and not being a Corporate Slave ;-)I wish I could retire. I don't think I am wired for it though. Since my teens I go 25 to 30 hours up, sleep 4 to 6, then rinse and repeat. That's a lot of time to fill.
