I'm worried 2x magnification won't be enough.. when you get it tell me what you think of the magnification level on it..
I had a thought(oh no) . If 2x magnification isn't enough you could also buy the $5.00 magnification reader glasses from Wally World. They fit over glasses too, if you wear them.(saw the ex doing that)

:)

opps---just read thru the thread and saw these were already discussed.....should teach me to read before posting.

Rick, interesting article.

Near the end he states "The MIT team is rapidly putting in place two human studies of MgT on memory function, with results expected in the near future. Meanwhile,..."

First, although he lists many references in the article, there are none to the future MIT human studies. Second, the article is over 5 years old (Feb.2012). Where are the human studies results "expected in the near future"?

I have no intention of dropping my nic much for the foreseeable future. I've read of the potential health benefits, particularly for memory and cognitive ability, and want those in my golden years. My wife is already fighting with memory loss at 54 and I think nic might help her remember who I am for a few more years!:D

I have yet to see nic creating any negative side effects that would offset it's benefits. I'll keep rocking my 72mg of nic a day, (9ml@8mg), at a whopping 6 watts! :vapor:

My husband and I have already decided what our names are going to be when we loose our respective memories..

I am Betty, the nice lady who takes care of him, and he is Willie, that nice man.. ;)

I found the study. Magnesium L-Threonate for the Enhancement of Learning and Memory in People With Dementia - Full Text View - ClinicalTrials.gov Haven't found the results. Bed time now so I'll look later. Let me know if you find anything.

My FT order was shipped yesterday, but it didn't show up in tracking until today. It's not showing up on the USPS site currently, but if you use the tracking number from FT on 17track.net, it will show you the status of your package as it makes its way through the shipping facility in China and onto the boat or plane to the U.S. Once my FT packages hit the U.S., I usually use the USPS site for tracking.

My Fasttech order was placed on 3/27. Today, the USPS status is:

April 4, 2017, 10:23 am Processed Through Facility BEIJING EMS, CHINA

Maybe it will make it onto a ship in the next day or two!

Thanks. I didn't really think I would quit, lol. You are doing great. I am not too concerned about the amount of nic. So many variables for each of us regarding the amount we use. I don't think we can compare apples to apples on nic amount.

I wouldn't worry about 6mg nic, either. In 2010 I started vaping juice with 24mg nic. In April 2011, I started tapering downward in 3mg increments every time I ordered juice. By the time I got to 3mg I realized that at no point in my transition had I experienced any withdrawal effects from lowered nic.

I tried zero nic and it was bland with no throat hit at all, so I went back up to 3mg and have been there for 6 years. It was health insurance rates that made me try to lose the nic. So far, they've only asked if I smoked cigarettes in the last six months. I can answer NO to that question with complete honesty.

Haven't heard of a lot of injuries. Most went through the northern third and the southern third of the state. In Central Ga we just had windy rain and violent thunderstorms. Lost power for 30 minutes last night.

I'm up here in Virginia but we are getting the rain off those storms.. good to hear there aren't any injuries where you are.

It rained all night here and for some reason we lost the tv around 3 am for an hour or so.. tonight we are supposed to get snow - crazy weather..

I grilled out on Sunday with the sun out and temps in the upper 70's.... then rain on and off for days, then snow Thursday night into Friday, then Saturday is supposed to be 61 degrees and sunny..Sunday even nicer.. Lol..

I quit cigs on Jan 14th of this year. I quit by using the Pico with the Melo 3 mini vaping 6mg ejuice. just lately I have retired my Melo minis and vaping more of a restricted DL, I guess. Like my Siren GTA, I took out the diffuser and run the air flow almost max open. My Kayfun 5 I have on largest airflow and it seems a bit tight in the draw. So my vape style is evolving some but I have stayed at the same nic level.

I ordered a Taifun GT 3 from Fasttech. It's on backorder for a couple of days but I am anxious to try it. Looks like it has a very adjustable airflow. The Taifun is 23mm, I don't think it will fit the Picos I have, but I have one other mod it will fit.

I tried vaping once before in 2010. Never did lay down the cigs then.
You should like the Taifun gtv3 , it can be more open or restrictive than KFv5. There is also a strange utlem or such tube that fits into the decks airflow under the coil to reduce it more too usually only available at Official Taifun sellers stores
I find it a very enjoyable RTA, also the SR V4 is another great one , Similar to the Taifun I can't decide between the two of which i like most both are great simple build decks
nothing too fancy on either both have jfc , both single coil builds
both can produce some great Flavourful dense vape,
i
I instantly liked it (SRv4) very similar to Taifun gtv3 ,
The SR v4 can if you choose fit bigger ID builds too little more room between posts and can buy extra posts with smaller airflow deck holes like hussar rta has ,
It also has a nano MTL kit available for it ,
Only thing could say wasnt to impressed with is the Drip tip which is huge ,
but 510 so not a problem, easy to switch out
cddb454af283ae6c03f1e232d94ff284.jpg

The biggest tip is from SRv4

Noted that the FDA gave them approval for their proprietary ingredient, and it's all over Amazon. Haven't read the specifics re: the actual supplement yet, but noted the recommended dosage was far less than that given in the Stanford study. ??????
