This is very weird - Now my original post has disappeared! So, here it is again.

Did you guys see these? I know someone on another thread, and @Opinionated on here (I think), said they still wanted to get a Provari. Not the lowest price ever on the 2.5 Mini, but still...not bad for a new ones! Available in several colors still, too!

Provari 2.5 Mini

At $49.95 there, and what they're going for on eBay for new ones...someone could make some quick extra cash buying and reselling them!

Nice find...Pama...

But...the Kit comes with CL coils (which are not designed to be rebuildable)...

So...if you order one you probably should throw a 5-pack of CLR coils in the cart too...(R = Rebuildable)...

Joyetech eGo One Mega V2 Starter Kit | MistHub

Joyetech eGo One CLR Rebuildable Coil Head | MistHub

..
I did not get the kit from them. Just the tank and I did get the clr coils. Took me a minute to figure out the diff in the coils. Then the light bulb for the R went off. LOL

I don't know how they can sell stuff so cheap, unless overstock or unloading items.
They're called "loss leaders"
They take a small beating on an item hoping that customers will load up on normally priced items while they're at it.

In the late 60s & the 70s the WB Loss Leaders series of compilation albums sold $1 for a single LP, $2 for a double to promote bands that you might not try otherwise.
A Van Morrison fan never heard of Frank Zappa then buys some Zappa albums because he liked it on the Loss Leader album, etc...

I like em up through the mid 70s

Yes I saw that.. but thank you so much for pointing it out! :) very kind of you.. I had gone through their clearance list in a moment of boredom and came across them but it would have been easy to miss, them being on the last page of clearance stuff... :)

I remember these well. Didn't Elektra do something similar? Or am I thinking of something else...

Not sure about Electra.
Most companies did but WB/Reprise had Zappa, Sabbath, The Dead, Tull, Hendrix, Neil Young, etc...with Yes, Geils & Zeppelin on Atlantic and Funkadelic & Ohio Players on Westbound, etc, etc, etc

I didn't notice them having those cone covers? I hadn't seen them..ill have to look again as I wanted a couple..

Either that or maybe I had just forgotten they had them.. these days it could be either.. lol..

Shipping cost more than both the cones! Lol

Lol.. yeah.. but I couldn't find them here in the U.S., and shipping is cheaper from England than from Germany, by about 2.50.. so it's probably all good!

While you may want a mech for the worst case just in case scenario (as there is less stuff to break) I would look more into the regulated mods.

The aspire c.f. mod works beautiful with a kayfun sitting on top, and looks good too. It takes external batteries so it will last as long as it's board.

If you want to go for a fancier regulated tube mod that works well with single coil rtas like the kayfun or taifun and more, then the innokin svd 2.0 has a dna 20 board by evolve that people really like a lot.

There is also the provari if there are any still to be found.. those are the highest quality regulated tube mod ever made.

It's fine to have a mechanical or two for the longevity of storage (as there is less to break) but they aren't regulated so you will have to know your ohms law well prior to using.. (although having a regulated mod doesn't absolve you of having to know it)

Just watched Yes get inducted into the Hall of Fame! One of my all time favs. Aannndd then TUPAC??? Huh? Have they expanded Rock and Roll that far. No digs at Tupac. I thought he would be a huge star because he was very multi talented and super fine, but he was more rap and hip hop then Rock. Sorry. Just a little observation.

I'm questioning whether that's really a mechanical mod, or just a "mech styled" mod. Purists will tell you that a mechanical mod can't have any wires in it, much less any electronics. I'd let a bit of wiring slide, but to be a "mechanical mod" the firing switch has to be a mechanical switch, and the button on that doesn't look stout enough. The fact that it has USB charging also makes me skeptical. I'm guessing it's actually an unregulated mod based around a MOSFET switch, much like the original Kanger Dripbox was.

Hello fellow "just in case" preppers....

I think I had posted a few dozen pages back that I was done "hoarding" but now I think Im really done :)

Over 10,000 feet of SS (bought them by the pound before it got popular) , dozen boxes of KGD, 8 bags of 200 ball of organic cotton balls, and I think and I really mean it enough atomizers, mechs, and reg devices.

I have re-prioritized by RTA needs and dripper needs. Sold things I know wont keep me happy for years to come. Mechs, again, sold some and acquired a few more that I always wanted... Sold the back ups of mechs that honestly , I know wont ever break down, Who needs 6 GP PAPs 2.5's and 6 GUS tube mechs, I sold many of the tubes and kept the switches and top caps.

I have bags of springs, insulators, screws, top contact pins and Orings, I hope I have the patience to figure out what goes to what.... I try to mark the bags, but sometimes I do get lazy.

Ive even bought 2-4 clones of my favorite genuines just so I have parts. Ive been keeping FT happy for a while now.

I have enough nic in the freezer for a long long time, might get one more, just in case. Im down to 2% and 0 on most.

PG/ VG will never be a problem and flavors no worries..... they are used in the food industry and I use very little per batch, I like light. Only thing that will keep me busy is my NET habit. I LOVE them and I go through about 30ml daily. Total, I go through average of 40mls of liquid daily.

Batteries, got lots but again, batteries are always there for so many other needs, so not worried.

SO yes, Im stocked up..... for now :)
