I guess I'll give up. I added a pulse 24, wire, and penguin coils plus 2 Picos. The cart said it qualified for free shipping but checkout added 17.93. Bummer. You're right.. the right hand doesnt know what the left is doing.
Bummer. I am sorry if I caused anyone hardship over this. I was just trying to pass on a good deal(I thought) and relay my experience with that company. You know, HC has a forum here on ecf.......If I were you, I would probably post that problem and ask if they would look into it. Doesn't seem right that the cart would say one thing and then at the last minute they add that shipping charge. :(

ordered (1) Pico
Total shipped $16.77
Used "ecf" coupon code
Oh crap. I forgot about their 'ecf' discount. Oh well, I will get over it. What shipping method did you use. Since I got free shipping I did not get a choice.

After figuring out the total cost per item (item + part of S/H)...I went ahead and ordered the following. Paid the $23.32 S/H via DHL (was the cheapest method). Wasn't free S/H because most items were marked as Sale/Clearance items, which don't qualify for it. But, with the very low cost of the items themselves...even paying S/H of $2.33 per item, it was still a good deal to me. Some of these will be nice, inexpensive, Christmas gifts for friends who vape, and others will be for my stash.

(4) Pico 75W Mods
(2) joyetech eGo ONE 2600mAh Mega Kits
(2) joyetech eGo ONE Atomizers
(2) UD SS 316L 28ga. wire

Thanks for the heads up @Sugar_and_Spice !

Hey JC, I see you ordered eGo one Atomizers. Been wondering how you like the tank. Are these the drop in coils or the CLR's?

It's 1 of my top 3 favorite tanks now. Bought a couple to try in July, because of how many people seemed to like them so much. Got them, loved them, and have ordered a bunch more since then for the stash. Was able to find only 2 Silver before, so got 2 more.

I've used several of the CL coils and 2 of the CLR coils, and to be honest...the CL coils lasted longer (same juice using both). Haven't even tried rebuilding the 2 CLR yet because of it. But, most other people say it's a piece of cake to rebuild them, so that's on my agenda.

They are right, it is just so simple to rebuild and rewick. My coils seem to last forever with them so I seldom have to actually change the coil itself. Just a quick pulse and burn and you are good to go. You also use so little cotton/rayon to rewick because of their size, keeping the tails very short as to not block air flow. I also use the titanium clr's that I got last summer from HC but you can't dry burn those, so I use a small brush and qtip to clean them. I was very surprised that I liked the tc ones so well, the vape is just so much better with them.

I went with the registered airmail, $5.20
The ECF discount was only .36 on this small order.
Still a good deal, that has shipped already...:thumb:

Totally agree. I had not done any real vape shopping since my last big haul from HC, last summer. Ok, maybe a couple of small items from FT, but overall I am pretty well stocked up.. Looking around at the climate nowadays, it seems like prices are going up. I had been thinking about getting some extra pico's but everywhere I looked they wanted anywhere from $29 on up for just the mod w/o a tank. Guess Rockymountainvapor isn't going to get more in? So when I saw these prices, I jumped, feet first. LOL

It's excess mods for me. ProVaris, VTC Minis, Vaporflask clones and RX75's. Probably enough for a lifetime for my wife and I and six friends! Then there's the boxes of old stuff, some working perfectly and some broken. Then there's the mechs.

But they were all such a good deals...

Probably enough for my wife and I and a dozen or more friends. I'm glad I passed up the Picos now that I think about it.

Wow, shipping to Canada seems a whole lot cheaper than for here in the US. I guess everyone along the way has to get their piece of the 'pie'.......smh

Yup, it's somewhat surprising to hear that. Doesn't HC offer an Airmail shipping option to the US?

I don't know if I have too many or too few until I kick the bucket. They can always be buried with me.

I only have 3 tanks and 3 mods with mechs backing them up. I have to use up the daily drivers before I even get to the stockpile.

It seems they do. I think I was referring to the DHL option tho. For some reason it just seemed to be cheaper to Canada via DHL. Since I have been lucky enough to get free shipping, I can't say I've explored the shipping options they offer. I seemed to think that DHL to the US was $17 something, but looking back at the posts I think I may have taken that wrong.

Ah, I see. I am still debating whether I should order a couple of extra Pico's or not. I still think if I wait another year Heaven's Gifts may be blowing them out for $5 each.

You never know, but it seems decent name brand VW/TC mods bottom out between 10 and 20 bucks. I don't need higher wattage and all the mods I bought this year are $17 shipped or less, on clearance.

I bet the Pico is already a classic and will be on the market for many years to come because of form factor. I keep 4 mods in service. The Evic Basic is a little too small, my Pico Mega is a bit too large, my VTC mini is too tall. The Pico is just right. I like all four, especially because they all take Arctic Fox firmware. But when it's time to leave the house I'm going to grab the Pico unless there is a special reason to carry one of the others.
