Maybe it only kicks in at a certain amount? I usually wait until I want to order enough to get free shipping, so I’ve never ordered under $75. It’s odd that it shows up randomly! Maybe email them. The one time I realized it didn’t show up, they emailed me back with a store credit for the 10%.

I had 122.00 in the cart and no discount lol. I have emailed them, not a real big deal, it is just the principle of the thing.

The core of my stockpile is the original Pico and SV rda clone. Even with more choices, that I go to, the Pico and SV are still my favorites.

That was my plan too, Picos were cheap and basic. I had 10 at one point, down to 8 now after giving a couple away. Not so sure it's the best way to go. There seem to be some problems with screens faiing and dodgy battery caps. I've got both happening. I've been trying out some other mods lately.

I've diversified my stockpile a bit now that I enjoy the occasional subohm journey with mesh coils. My mainstays remain a Vision Nova on a ProVari 2.5 or a Wismec RX75, but a variety of tanks that take Wotofo Flow Pro mesh/TFV8 compatible are now in the fold, with Profile RDA and squonking in place too. I feel much better prepared for whatever stunt the FDA pulls off in the upcoming months.

I hope I shift gears from accumulating to unloading the unneeded stuff soon. Recovery from shinyitis takes real effort!

Have you tried Colossals? They’re $30 something on vapor range. I think that’s a bit more than Picos are going for, but I haven’t heard of any issues with them yet. I had one come doa, but otherwise all of mine are working like new. I mean some of them are still pretty new, but one is a year old.

@rosesense - I found out really early this morning that LightFire/KangerTech Wholesale...has lowered their price for the Zenith 1.6ohm coils. They were $6.10/box, but are now $5.81/box. I put 10 in a trial cart, and no 10% discount popped up like it used to. I kept adding more boxes, but it never showed a discount.

Last Friday, when they were still the $6.10 price, with 10 in the cart...it did take 10% off. My guess is they've lowered the price and done away with the 10% discount that pops up...because it wasn't working for everyone. Free S/H appears to still take effect at 13 boxes though = $75.53

This is so bizarre. Price is still 6.10 for me and no discount, they don't like me lol.

Yup. I got Colossal a while back. It seems like a great mod. The touch screen makes me a little nervous, just seems like one more thing that could fail. I might get another one anyway. Since then I got an Aegis Mini which I love. And a Solo in the mail somewhere.

I thought it was a good idea to get lots of Picos. They were so cheap it wouldn't matter if they didn't last a long time. But then they stopped making them. Now I'm thinking it's a better idea to get a variety of different mods. Even if one type turns out to have problems some of them should be good.

I'm also cautious about touchscreens. The first mod I bought that had one had a DOA touchscreen, just stuck on the "New Atomizer?" question and not letting me respond. Cool and fun but durability is questionable, even though smart phones have been pretty sturdy.

Do you think the Aegis Mini would be alright for someone newer to vaping?

That’s my plan too. Find a bunch I like, get a few of each. So far so good on my touchscreens, I think I have 8 of them now. The minikin is the oldest, and I’m pretty easy on my mods but they do occasionally get dropped, and have had whole tanks dump on a few - I clean them off and they’re good to go.

The only things in my collection I doubt will be around all that long are the internal battery mods, but they’re fine for what I need them for.

Don't see why not. Tough and hard to break, and not complicated to use. The only problem I see is the limited run time, and a new vaper might not have multiple mods to use while it charges up.

I'm getting my first variable wattage tomorrow. If I can handle the mod without problems, then I'll get the AM as another one. Thanks.

Is vapor range having a sale this weekend?

You can get an Aegis Mini below, for $29.99 using the coupon code VAPOR25 for 25% off the regular price. They have several colors available, too. I bought another 1 Friday, along with some coils a neighbor and I wanted. Their sale is a Customer Appreciation Sale though, not a Memorial Day Sale...so I don't know how long the code is good for.

    Aegis Mini 80W TC Mod

ETA: The discount code is good for anything/everything, sitewide. Not just for the Aegis Mini.

Thank you. That's a great price. I've been looking at it for a while but kept chickening out. At 25% off, i can afford it even after buying other stuff this weekend. :)
