Somewhere out there
God bless you. I’m sorry I ever left. I got complacent, as lazy people do in good times (or ignorance). I’ve been spending on my favorite eliquids (known favorites and some wildcards) knowing full well how to DIY. So I guess it’s time to focus on gear now, even though technically I am probably prepared, it just never quite feels “finished.”
I know what you mean, I was set in 2016, but picked up more tank rebuildables and more squonkers, I have not squonked yet tho LOL Just filling in any holes plus some new things just for fun to try out during the dark days :)

Great people here, a true community. You leave, you come back - it doesn't matter. I've only been involved with ecf for the blink of an eye compared to most but it seems like every post is treated with the same respect.

For a while there I was obsessed with my REO and only squonked even though at the time I worked at a vape shop. I’d bring it to work and the customers looked at it like it was alien technology o_O

But once you get into the rhythm of it, and I suppose even moreso figure out your favorite build, it does become quite natural to use. I find solace in the fact I was satisfied with them before, even though I am not looking forward to having to tinker again.

You aren't the only one. I just came out of the woodwork myself and I saw someone in another thread say "The only thing good about all of this is a lot of old timers came back to ECF."

But seriously, folks, thanks for having me back. I’m off to do some late-night mod shopping since my freezer is full of XYZ and I’m not worried about my eliquid future. I’m going to keep advocating and helping (and likely still giving stuff away to my friends who need stuff) so I’m not throwing up a white flag, oh no. I’m going to vape until I physically cannot. One day this is all going to look like the massive fork up that it is. See y’all soon.

Here's an ol' timer who hasn't visited for a while. Given current spin and hysteria, ordered two Aegis Solos, two Siren 2's, 16oz of preferred FA flavors, gallon of VG, and 50' of titanium wire. Otherwise good for 10-15 years which should be long enough for the black market to mature. Always thought a speakeasy sounded like fun. My guess is big tobacco is working to smother competitors and establish market dominance -- it's certainly not about public health

I know your profile location says Washington, but your conversation feels Texan. Welcome back to ECF.

I tried ordering a Oumier Wasp Nano rda from them and it set off my bank’s fraud detection.:thumb:

They thought it was fishy that I was swiping my card in China. I need to get over this nervousness about signing up for PayPal because a few times now searches have led me to Fasttech and I need to get in on that. From what I hear (just here even) PayPal is good at having your back if anything should go awry.

PayPal has been very good to me for 20 years. If you feel at all uncomfortable, here’s what I do - I have a separate checking account linked to my PayPal. My main checking account I use for everything, my secondary is only for PayPal and I drop some money in that every so often, just to buy shiny stuff and pay for subscriptions- very easy to cancel subscriptions through there.

My TFV8 style coil binge is pretty much done for now. Hellvape Hellbeast coils from Vaporl and Desire M tank coils from Everzon. There are now a good number of those style coils to fit all my different tanks, none of them Smok coils. Interchangeability rocks!

Even with a nice cache of dropins, I may build coils at times, so I grabbed one of these too. Yeah, I'm getting edgy about the future.

    Somewhere between here and there
Just bought a Geekvape Zeus and a Zeus Dual. I like how the Zeus is top airflow and leakproof. If that's true it may be my stock up tank. Got em from MVS, no code, no guilt, they've been great for years for me and I feel really bad for them with the New York ban.

Really not all that excited to get into rebuilding again but I need to know what I like so I can stock up on it so I might as well get started now while I still have the chance.

Next up more nic and a freezer!

The Zeus single coil is my favorite and am stocked up on them. They seem to be getting a little harder to find. Eciggity still has some.

Every time I say ok that is all I need for stocking up, I find that there is just one more thing I need! LOL I am about all set but I am sure I will find something else. All set on mods, rebuilds, Nic, may get a few more flavors and VG/PG to have on hand :)
I bet none of us thought this thread would end up being the great ongoing resource for so many for the last three plus years.

    Well played @bnrkwest

Five liters of nic today, a heavy set of Zenith coils, waiting on some Nautilus coils from like, the China Place of Joy, fun and happiness as I like to call it these days, I may get a bit more nic as I grow increasingly convinced that the Lord and all may punish me for my misdeeds by allowing me to grow very old.
"If I'd known I would live this long, I would have taken better care of myself bought more nic!"
