Also remember to search for KF, NOT Kayfun on Fasttech. That helped me find replacement parts I thought were gone.

Agree, search returns depend on search criteria. I got 39 relevant hits with "kayfun replacement tank". I'm sure other search string keywords would reveal the rest. You do have to try various search terms with all the relevant keywords.

Somewhere out there
Mine will certainly be prominent in my apocalypse stash. :) I've purchased a number of attys over the years and the most recent models seem to be in the 2 to 3 ml capacity range. I like 4.x ml tanks that can last most of the day away from home. Kayfun Lites have been my staple and I have 6 or 7 of those, some that are starting to show wear. I just ordered a pack of 30 Kayfun fill screws. The screws wear out, but the SS coil deck threads are still fine.
Where did you get the screws, link please :)

Nope. Both are very stable. I bought a bunch some years ago and have been using it ever since. I've yet to detect any problems with it. I store it at room temperature, in liter-size glass bottles.

I don't like plastic for long-term storage of anything because it's somewhat permeable to oxygen and I don't trust it not to leech stuff.
My 3 1/2 yo half -filled bottles of both pg and vg look and smell fine and they've been kept in a cardboard box at room temp more or less by accident . I like the idea of switching to glass storage - I don't like or trust plastic long term either. God knows what chemical crud leeches out of plastic containers over time. It's the reason I never leave juice in squonk bottles for long no matter how much hassle it is to remove it

Do VG or PG need freezing for medium/long term storage? I know it's unlikely that there's ever going to be problem sourcing either but I'm in super cautious mode at the moment
To ease your mind read about vegetable glycerin and propelyne glycol. If you are going to put them in your body you should know something about them.
