When I quit smoking back in 2010 a carton of Dorals was about $30. I looked up average prices a few days ago and Georgia cigarettes are an average $5.33 a pack.
A pack of cigarettes here in Kalifornia is over $10 after tax.

What consequences would that be?
That frankly is for the individual to decide. I would not be so crass as to dictate what consequences another thinks are appropriate. I also won't be baited by you as I have seen you do so many others on this forum.

going to order another gallon of nic from Heartland early next week. that should be it for me for now (I say that but I'll keep buying stuff as long as we're able). went from not being prepared at all to completely prepared in a month, mostly thanks to the fine folks on this forum. My wife thinks I'm a little crazy but I don't think she knows the extent of it. I work from home most days so the mail comes in and right into my vape closet. I've told her my ongoing costs should be essentially zero soon (except for occasional DIY supplies), and she was impressed by that, at least.

This from Greg Conley about the new bill/taxation: Note that thc products will not be taxed by this bill.

No surprise: At a hearing on *nicotine* taxation, Ways & Means Chairman @RepRichardNeal justifies the tax by bringing up lung illnesses caused by inhaling contaminated THC products. No THC product or device, legal or illegal, would be taxed by this bill. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0iUuZpoQDQc …

Vape is heavier than air so should only go upstair if blown or pulled by furnace air, open door/window, etc. Window fan should work for temperate seasons. Otherwise, with no exhaust duct, should be able to close the door, throw down a stop-door-draft-thingy on the bottom, and use larger-size room filter. And yeah, you don't want to use those ozone generators.

You sure about that bold part? Because I can see mine hanging out at the ceiling.

Thanks for the suggestions all. I currently have an air purifier that has a charcoal and a HEPA filter so I kind of covered that base, it's plenty big enough to handle my room. Think I'm going to just leave the furnace fan on at all times that I'm vaping in the house and a window cracked (barely as I am in CO). That outta do it.

You said there will be consequences and I just asked what those consequences would be. So basically you're talking out your donkey void.

You really don't have to start an argument with everyone that mentions Trumps name you know... We get it, you love the guy.

No I am leaving it to the person who tweets or calls to choose consequences they think fitting. My choice of consequences is my own business and none of yours.

I probably wasn't clear, I would put the charcoal filter in or on the return register.

Just a thought - Could this be the reason they smell the vape ? I would think if the furnace fan is on all the time it is "Sucking" up the vape via the return register vent in your room and then circulating it into their room . . .

Or - Another solution might be to vape unflavored e-liquid when in your room . . . I do and no one smells anything when they come into my apartment where vaping is Banned . . .

    Again - Just a Thought . . . ;)

    ,

Well the return grill is outside of my room and around the corners. There's also a smoke alarm directly outside of my door that will go off if I leave my door open for more than 5 seconds. Since that's never going off unless I leave my door open I'm under the assumption that the vape isn't making it to the return grill. So if I keep the fan on and a window open the vape would leave out of my window.

That's the theory anyways... and I am an HVAC engineer so I'm pretty sure I got it right. Going to give it a try this weekend.

An "all stocked up, what now?" thread would be interesting and vapers would stop buy to ask what you think is all stocked up. The problem is you'd have to promise that you aren't buying even more stuff even after you're all stocked up and I bet there's no honest person here who would make that promise. He, he...

So true but are new purchases for the “stash” or because of shinyitis? Lol! I just bought a Amighty mod. I already have one in gunmetal but wanted one on black and it was on sale. I consider it a Shinyitis purchase not a Stash for Vapeocalypse. So, we’d have to have some guidelines as to which is which lol!!!

my shinyitis isn’t going anywhere regardless of how stocked up I am lol!!

I feel a sense of panic telling me I should grab a couple more liters of 100mg. Mainly triggered by this potential $2,780 per liter tax. Uggghh

Yep ... I've been 'in charge' of making sure our 'gear' stock was adequate and my wife was concentrating on the flavors / nic stock pile. We had 20 years of nic on-hand and then she heard about these @#$%! tax bills and ordered more nic.

Now per @Rossum's rule of thumb we have 30 years of nic which will last until her 100th birthday.

(... and perhaps if she sell's a liter or 2 she can pay for my funeral expenses too ...)

Nope. I will call out stupid comments like that donkey void made.
So what is your point? Everyone has a right to their opinion even if you don't agree with it. That is life, just let it go. No one is going to agree on everything, there are enough problems right now with vape being attacked from every corner, we don't need to attack each other over trivial things or petty politics. Our right to vape is under attack.
