I keep a few items in a FT wishlist and today might pull the trigger on a few items. Based on recommendations here I got an Aegis Solo. Now I'm looking for a 24mm MTL tank. Any suggestions I might find on FT?

Took deliver of what should be the last bottle of nic unless some dramatic new information comes along. I pad the glass storage bottles to protect against breakage, ziplock, bubble wrap, zip lock (with careful labeling of date, strength, etc.) Another benefit of the padding is it acts as insulation against air temperature changes.

Probably in my head but I don't like to run power that is higher than I need for my tootle puffing and again the size/weight matters to me. I guess I don't see a need for the bigger ones but some might.

It’s not running more power, but I do see your point about a bigger size. I don’t do very low builds or use really high wattage either - higher than you, but lower than many - but the extra run time comes in handy.

Well, I tried. I have several mods, but only use the pagusus, as it's served me well. Make my own liquids, no nicotine, do NOT rebuild attys, so purchase by the dozens, when I order. Use the eleaf air tanks. So, if no one can make it even easier on me, I guess I'm good to go. Just have to keep stocking the attys...

Alright, Kat. My :2c:...

I don't know what other mods you've got and how old they are, but the new(er) ones are so nice, even if you don't use TC. I'm not trying to make you buy more stuff, but the difference between mods made 5 or 6 years ago and what is on the market today is remarkable. They just work so much better, fire faster, are more user friendly and just a pleasure to use. I can't recommend the Solo and the Colossus enough--my two new acquisitions.

As for toppers, there's nothing wrong with the GS Air series; I still have a couple of tanks and coils and use them occasionally. They can be rebuilt, our friend @Cheechako taught us how to do it, but it's too much hassle for me. But you may want to give Joyetech eGo Ones a try. Right now you can get an eGo tank (and a bonus battery) for next to nothing: Joyetech Ego One VT Kit

Then just buy a 5-pack of eGo One CLR (1Ω) coils and you have a brand new toy to play with. The beauty of CLR (R stands for rebuildable) coils is that they can be easily rebuilt--if you ever need to--so don't throw the old ones away. But they also work straight out of the box, can be opened, cleaned, dry burned, and re-wicked, which makes them last for a very long time without rebuilding. So you don't have to buy dozens of boxes like with the GS Air. Warning--do not buy CL coils--they are really nasty. You want these:

$9.07 Authentic Joyetech eGo ONE CLR Coil Head (5-Pack) - 1ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Having said that, Zenith and Zlide are really good tanks. Look for a Kroma A and Zenith kit on sale--you'll get a great value and great device!

Good luck!

I am not saying this very well. By more power I mean runtime which I have no need of. I am home most of the time with 12 or more in rotation so no need for them to last any longer. I can see the advantage for those who are on the run or to work every day. I will take the smaller form factor cause I will not use heavy mods. In fact, I have a new Ocular C that will never be used, feels like a brick.

Bless you for this. I have an old EGO One tank I got with a VTC Mini mod years ago and at that time the rebuildable coil hadn't come out and I completely forgot to look for it later on. Now that tank can be added back into the calculations. I had considered it a when I am out of coils it is done tank.

Edit: 5 packs of coils on the way. As someone that started rebuilding with CE5s and the original protank these do not look that awful to do. Dang sure larger though the process is basically the same.

If you mean the Pegasus, I have 3 of those. They are on clearance right now at vapenw for $12.99: Aspire Pegasus 70W Mod Plus take an additional 15% off using code: GIOVANI15 (so $11.04 each). It wouldn't hurt to have a few spares.

If its a choice between the 2 skip the squeezer. I am having to do some surgery on mine to keep it firing properly. It worked great for one day and stopped firing. Seems from the googling I have done on the issue that I am going to have to sand down the contacts for it to work consistently.

For an honest to god Mech see if you can find an Athena. I am REALLY enjoying that one. Now it DID start firing erratically for me but some Deoxit gold on the firing contact and battery contacts fixed it right up and it has been performing flawlessly since I did that. By firing erratically I mean I just wouldn't fire with every button press not that it fired on its own. The mod also has an excellent locking system to prevent it from firing in a pocket or purse.

The luna I believe is protected but not regulated. Mine has not come in yet. My concern with it really is I am not sure how proprietary the bottles are. Actual Luna replacement bottles are a bit pricey but I picked up a few to be certain I had them.
I recieved my Luna, and my Athena squonk bottles today. I can confirm that that the bottles fit the Luna. Eightvape has the bottles for $1.99, less if you use a honey coupon. I got five of the bottles for $7.78 including shipping.
