Today's vape mail was a Pulse (another backup for the backup). Nice little squonker too. Perfect for those out and about trips. 8ml bottle. Fully mech and takes a 20700 or 18650 with the included adapter.

Ive been sitting here vaping Bronuts on an Athena Squonker with an Alexander RTA and just trying to relax a bit. I feel like I have been in stress mode since Sept 11.

TOO many packages inbound from china with no clue when they will arrive. I never used to sweat the long wait but now with vaping under fire its just painful.

OK...never have I seen such amazing talent at finding all things vape online. Truly gifted this group is. I need help - my RTA stash is based on the Kanger Subtank Mini from the 2016 vapocolypse. I have about 20 of the RBAs, but I've noticed that they do seem to die after about a year so. Maybe it has something to do with the PEEK insulator? I seem to remember some discussion around this years ago. Does anyone know where to get replacement insulators for the STM RBA? Or, can any of you vape ninjas find it? :)
My bets are on @rosesense

Thanks. That reddit page was about the faulty insulators that came with the original STM. Now it's a hunt for any peek insulators out there on some website somewhere. If that's even the problem.

I think @Haktuspit mentioned that RTAs are destined to die earlier in this thread due to all the heating and cooling cycles. Has anyone else experience RTA deaths over time? Or is it just my dated, circa 2015 Subtank Mini technology?

I have only had ONE Subtank Mini fail and mine are the same vintage as yours. That one it was a stripped 510 connector.

Go to fastech and do a search for SUbtank Mini. Lots of all kinds of parts and pieces including entire base assembly etc. Maybe you will find something that works

There is info on the ST Mini insulators here Kanger replacement Subtank insulators
FT sells RTA insulators. Maybe they have one that will fit.

I haven't experienced any RTA deaths. My original Kayfun lite's are fine. I don't see those dying ever. They'll very likely outlive me. They're built like battleships (borrowed from Bronze). I think any decent RTA if maintained will be fine.

You can still buy the RBA deck for the STM. I have a couple STM's and extra RBA decks in my stash. They are decent atty's.

Are you using the STM RBA all day every day? Just wondering if this is a longevity thing. I haven't had any problems except this - it just starts showing "No Atomizer" after about a year with the same RBA deck. Once I break out a new one I'm good to go. For about a year.

Yeah I've thought about buying more RBAs from FT. I have a few Digiflavor Siren's as well as some really old school SXK Wines. Now I'm just waffling between going all in on more STM RBAs or branching out into other RTAs.

Wasn't me, I haven't built anything in about three years!

In case you don't find any below is the link to the RBA at fasttech. You've got me wondering if I have enough of them... but then again I do have 80 boxes of OCC coils for them. Probably won't be building on these unless it's a dire situation.

Me too DC. From what I've read it's no easy task. I've tried a couple so far and they kinda seem slightly, vaguely, almost reminiscent of that amazing juice. I'm in a bad way though because I seriously love the original and it's been my ADV for at least 3 1/2 years now.
I never tried it but it must be great. I wonder if they add some Magic mask is it from FlavourArt? It is supposed to enhance flavors. I haven't tried it yet but have a bottle.

There's our generic quote for the day.

*edit* By the way I'm 38 since we're all giving out our ages.

In the world of DIY I'm very much a novice. So much to learn and I don't doubt for a minute that we'll all have to learn about DIY mixing if we want to continue enjoying flavours. Your country, my country it doesn't matter - BT has deep pockets and long arms and our freedoms always seemed on borrowed time to me
