Have you tried the ammit mtl rda or vapefly galaxies mtl rdta (it has a squonk pin in the kit)? I'm restricted dl, both of them have been solid performers (and supposed to be quite decent for true mtl).

I love the ammit mtl rda. I have seven so far. I bought two just for trying new flavors.

Now I remember a few people posted his stuff in the Billet Box Thread . . . While his "Stuff" is really nice . . . Way too rich for "My" blood, especilly just to change panels to customize on a whim - IMHO . . .

If you haven’t already found it Billet Box Forum is a good group. Usually low drama and a ton of ideas there.

If "You" are talking about the one of FB - I couldn't agree more . . . All 3 of them are good resources too . . .

Anyway, I don't get to or use FB anymore . . . Although I only communicated with other ECF Friends and vapors, also entered contest there, given all the negative "Stuff" I decided to deleted "My" Account . . . I DO NOT NEED ANY MORE FRIENDS SUGGESTION - Just Because I or someone else I know - Knows someone else - I Do Not Need them as a "Friend" . . . Is it anything like that horrible mesh we used in the genny's? A lot of people loved it but not me.

Not sure about the genny since I never got into those. The mesh is a small sheet that you curve with the tool that comes with the unity and it just clamps in place. The cotton is very fat and you just trim it at an angle. I had no issues building it on the first try.

You had the black one right? Did you also get the Metallic Resin one? Because I am now realizing the included bottles are different, the Metallic Resin one does not have the metal ring. (I did not get a black one... at least not yet, I got just 2 of the Metallic resin). Also, someone had mentioned built-in protections on this squonker, but I do not see that on the Metallic Resin one. Does the one you have have built-in protections?

All Wismec Luxotic bf mods have exactly the same protections. The early versions came out with the harder plastic bottle that has no metal ring around the top. Around that time the soft silicon bottles became trendy so Wismec first added them as spares then in later releases of the Luxotic (exactly the same mod with protections) they did away with the hard plastic bottle and the mod was sold with the silicone bottles as standard.

The mesh is just used as the coil, with a cotton or rayon wick. No SS mesh wicking or tipping like the Genny era!

I love both of these and would add the Vapefly Holic rda -it has been great for me. Airflow options from tight mtl to restrictive DL. Easy deck to build on, doesn’t leak at all. (One of the few rdas I’ll stick in a pocket).

I like the Holic, but would classify it as highly restricted DL. The inhale hole in the top cap is very narrow, so changing to a wider bore 510 drip tip won't matter. Also a PITA if you don't like the included drip tip - it's a shallow 510 dt hole.

The two I mentioned I've got several of. On the Holic I'll stay with one.

Yeah, mine does not light up I got mine from vapenw and there is no mention of protections on their site. Oh well, it was only $5.99 compared to $39.99 on VaporDNA, I can forgo the protections for that much of a price difference. @*RJ* does your black one light up?
