Anything you can do cooking wise you can do with a knife, pots and pans.

I own a crockpot I am not the biggest fan. Everything in it winds up tasting like everything else.

No pressure cooker the one my parents owned as a kid terrified me. I'm not sure why.

IDK I am old skool when it comes to cooking. I do have a kitchen aid but this is because I was drooling over my mom's so she got me a surprise one for Christmas. LOL.

I also own every other implement known to mankind, thanks to marrying the husband. He came with a BREADMAKE a rice steamer, OH all sorts of things. For the longest time, I just innocently thought "Oh he was saving up for the right wife." Instead of "This guy must be able to cook."

To be fair I'm good a yardwork and plenty of OTHER stuff I did not disclose at the time. Heh

Anna

Raised by 3 women collectively you can bet your rear END he learned to cook. He's a WAY better baker than me. Of course, that is a Very Low Bar.
Pork chops cooked in the crockpot on low for 6 hours are one of my favorites. 1 can cream of mushroom soup, and 1 can of cream of chicken soup. It's a simple meal, but it's really good. The meat falls off the bone, you don't need anything but a fork, so tender and juicy.

I ordered more coils from FT, used their Cyber Monday code, so unless something cheap cheap cheap shows up, guess I am done for today :)
I'm resisting buying the colossal combo at Asmodus. I'm starting to cave though...

Hey all,

Did some painting today (as in “walls”) and more rearranging in the house to help us get sorted after last week. It feels good to do it and I think it is helping husband out, too. :)

I make ricotta in my Instant Pot all the time...it only takes milk and some white vinegar and a special straining bowl. I mix it with other cheeses and then stuff it in either manicotti or jumbo shell pasta and that is one vegetarian meal that husband and stepson will enjoy a great deal.

What I make in the IP:

Chicken and dumplings
Chicken and rice
Shredded chicken for tacos
Mashed potatoes
Sweet potatoes
Hardboiled eggs
Potato and ham soup
Yogurt
Cheesecake
Ricotta

I *have* made ribs (and then put them under the broiler), brisket, and tri tip in the IP, but slow cooking works much better for the beef cuts than the pressure cooker, imo. And forget anything but the slow cooker for pulled pork shoulder (of course unless you have a smoker).

Rewicked the KF2019, Topside & Profile, and Serpent Elevate (top airflow) RTAs today. I’m kind of worn out from all the cleaning so it was a bit of a chore.

Hoping to get some vape mail soon. I have enough out there, I’m due!!! Lol. Anxious to get the Brunhilde because if she’s a winner I’ll want a second for the stash.

Anyway - I hope and pray everyone is happy and well today. :)

AW...go for it! The green is a really pretty color. IMO, it's even nicer in person, too. Plus, just the Colossal mods, when they on sale recently, were $22.50. With the deal on the green one now...the mod, the matching tank, and a box of coils are all LESS than just the mod itself was!

Well - Here try this "Link" to found out more, hopefuly this one will work better:

Asmodus Colossal GREEN 80W Mod with Ohmie Tank & 1-Pack of Replacement Coils

.
Excellent link, Uncle, thanks!

$20, free shipping, a spare 5 pack of tank heads, and the tank appears to be compatible with Hellbeast, Cerberus, Vaporesso NRG GT,... heads (e.g., my stock of gt ccell 2 heads)

I'm steeping some cold brew coffee tonight, a bean with milk chocolate, almond, and fruit notes.

You use a coarse grind, pretty generous amount of coffee, in a pitcher of water for 12 hours, then strain it into a second pitcher; it stores in a refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

(I use a French press for this, cover it with saran wrap overnight, press it in the morning. A normal pitcher, then pour it through a coffee filter in the morning, also works fine.)

If you get a decent bean this makes awesome coffee, extremely low acidity. All of the cupping notes are preserved as long as you have a light roast. It's good cold, but use about 2/3 of a cup of the extract, 1/3 water, and microwave it to heat it up for a great cup of hot coffee [emoji106]

Sorry, thought you were joking with me. My friend has no teeth, and he is the one who introduced me to it. He has no problem with it.
Against popular opinion I dont always joke. But other than that I have no clue what you are talking about.

Watching National Lampoons Christmas Vacation was the PERFECT end to my holiday. What a hoot! Such a classic.
I start watching that right before Thanksgiving. Generally by the end of the season I’ve seen it or had it on almost ten times LOL It just makes me happy.
