Thanks but didn't work. I scrubbed the thread, no mentions of a Geekvape sale. Guess I was imagining things. I do however hope ECF fixes the search function so that you can search a thread again. My order is at $80 anyways with just replacement parts might as well get $20 more in there and get free shipping.
Just found one! GK10 for 10% off. Have you already ordered?

Just some tips for finding codes. I google things like geekvape.com coupons or discount codes or codes. Then I open every webpage the search gives me and try them. Been doing this since I first found out about discount codes right here at ECF. Patience grasshopper...cause it does take patience.

ivapesupply has all Hardware 30% off, with HDW30 code until midnight. It doesn't say Clearance items are excluded. So, they have the GeekVape Athena Squonk Kit with BF rda for $19.50 - 30% = $13.65 + S/H. All 7 they have left are in Black. I haven't tried it in a Cart with the coupon code, to see if it works since it's on Clearance, but it should. Just please don't jump on me if it doesn't. ;)

So MFS now has shipping options available but I would NOT check out right now. I just tried and got a $1.00 hold put on my credit card but the order didn't go through. Really excited to get to deal with this now.
I asked them about that last month after a purchase. The one $ has something to do with the cc processing company. It disappeared in a day or two, without going past pending. Stupid in my estimation, unless you tell people you’re doing it. Freaked me out. I was thinking fraud

I was checking outt those things a while back, not that particular model though. Most of the reviews for similar items on Amazon were pretty scathing about their solar power charging ability. Like they would take weeks of full sun to recharge. The ones that open up like a book with multiple charging panels seemed to do better.

I figured I could use one for phones and mod batteries if we lost power. It looked like I would be better off just getting a large power bank and keeping it charged up. Pretty good chance that power outages would happen in bad weather with no sun anyway. To get effective solar recharging would require something with larger collector panels. I'm still thinking about it.
Himself has a 10w output, fold out solar charger he takes to the hunting camp. It works, just not fast. We do have a generator, but have (5) 20,000 mAh power banks. They’re not much larger than the current iPhone/Samsung and have enough juice for multiple recharges. Downside is the length of time it takes to charge them up to full

Hey all,

Just an FYI, I was having trouble with hot spots on my Wotofo Profile mesh builds (probably not impossible I was having trouble using my own cotton rolls instead of the premade Wotofo cotton wicks - I have at least 90 on the way from FT) so I placed the premade .3 coil that came with the Profile in the deck instead and so far I’m having a lot of luck with it. I have a ton of the mesh coming and already in my build box, but I will save it for a rainy day when it’s all I have left.

All in all, I am reminded why squonking it truly *a* superior vape (if not *the*, as everyone is different) but I am just enjoying the heck out of it.

No reply from Armageddon MFG, but I realize the order only shipped 11/18, so maybe I will cool my jets for a while. Just nervous because it’s my first order from that vendor.

A big package from FT (“big” for me = more than a $12 set of RDAs) should be here Thursday, which I am very excited to receive. I will be interested to inspect the clone of the Profile.

Really, I ought to take out, list, and deeply consider the lifespan of each of these RDAs I have stocked. The Avocados and Griffins from 2016 I have stocked with a ton of replacement parts, glass, o-rings, etc. Plus they are built well to begin with.

What I am unsure about is the longevity of the $7-$17 RDAs from FT I keep buying based on good recommendations here. So I need to take stock, assess o-rings, give each tank a number, and then determine if I have enough. Mods, I’m almost sure I have enough of right this minute, if each one lasts a single year I’m good for 20+, of course, Lord willing.

Think I have 200 of those. Haven't used them yet. OK fine I STILL haven't built anything in three years. Computer plans for this weekend, maybe next weekend is vape building.

No I did not! Says not valid though. I gave up on the old way of finding discount codes once I installed Honey, the old way took more patience than I have. I'll get to my free shipping and be happy.

Which... is going to be hard to do since Geekvape cleared my cart while I was driving home from work. I literally remote login to my work PC to keep the cart going so it's not like I tried to save a cart and access it on a different computer. Kinda upset that took me a while to build today... maybe I'll just wait on this order and see if a discount coupon doesn't cross my email in the meantime.

Well my FT SXK Hadalys (Spelling?) are pushing 3 years old and showing no sign of slowing down. Not quite the data you are looking for but it is a place to start.

The RM2s I have for my old standard REO's are pushing 7 years old and going strong but those were not cheap attys when I bought them.

I have several old drippers that are nearly 7 years old as well (not squonk attys).

Heck I have a 1st generation protank that still works.

Any & all information is good! Thank you!

I don’t abuse my devices so I’m not too terribly worried, but I’d like to get at least one year of steady use out of each RDA/RTA and I’m being pessimistic. I remember customers from the vape shop who held onto the same stuff for way past it’s expiration date, but the things cranked up and vaped every time (until something smashed them)

As for squonking being the perfect vape I would add one thing. I am finding I love the SXK billette box with the SXK Haku Xeta deck in just as much. It does have a bit of a learning curve. ie it took me 3 very messy tries to get it wicked right. Once I did it has been flawless.

In the good news category, I got my Squid Double Barrel in.

I like it, but not as much as I thought I would. The fire button is harder to press than most of my other mods, which is fine but I'm going to have to get used to it. This isn't really a negative to the mod but this tanks leaks a little every now and then and that's going to go down my hands instead of on the mod like it does with my Smok 225W Mag. Oh well I have Kleenex and I need to stop tipping it without hitting it anyways, that's when it leaks.

Looks and feels really solidly built though, I imagine myself in a rocking chair at 85 with this as my last vape. That's my Blade in a vapocalypse mug just hanging out.

Our local vape shop closed in the wake of the lung illnesses and Trumps Sept 11 announcement. When they were open I had a running thing going on with them. I would show up with a serious retro vape and they tried to figure out what it was. I even managed to stump the owner a couple of times and he considered himself an expert.

They knew I really didn't need anything they carried. I would just pop in to visit and buy a bottle of juice or a pack of coils to show my support. They were fabulous with new people or those who just never really mastered things.

That was awesome of you; I had customers like that, too, heavy into DIY and online shopping, would come in charitably to buy something and then really just stick around to shoot the breeze for an hour or so.

Once I brought in a REOs Mod and stumped a few “seasoned vapers” lol, mainly some dudes in their 20s (who I adored but were total vaping know-it-alls). They hadn’t seen a squonk like THAT, even if they’d heard of a squonk, at that time, many hadn’t seen one in person. Especially not a REOs. That was fun. :D

It is like a highly customizable pod device from before there were pod devices. Small, solidly built, replaceable battery, wide range of "bridges" that take anything from drop in coils to self contained rebuild decks. The SXK clone comes with the bridges for Nautilus coils and Kanger subtank coils as well as a subtank style rebuild deck. The Haku Xeta is a separate purchase rebuildable.

Because it is so small and convenient and the vape can be customized it is no wonder people love them.

Well that is easily the best Cliff’s Notes version of that mod I’ve ever read! Thank you! It has been a mystery to me, despite my attempt to wade into the Billet thread. After about two pages I gave up.

Not long after I got my first REO a local tatoo parlor/porn palace/head shop advertised they had vape gear. Now this was before there really were any vape shops within 100 miles of here. So I went in there one day. I went to check out what they had since I had only ever internet ordered vape supplies. Here were a bunch of young 20 somethings going on about blowing clouds on their ego's with CS5 tanks. I heard a few under the breath comments about the grey haired lady trying to be younger than she was. So I pulled out my REO which was set up with a .7 ohm coil and blew a cloud that put them all to shame. Expressions on faces were priceless as I walked out.
