ATTENTION PEEPS:

I just checked out of curiosity and the $10 off per liter of nic base at heartlandvapes is still working, even though it was supposed to have ended yesterday.

Just sayin'
My order from the 11th in the AM still has not shipped, which is unusual for them. Hoping for Monday. At least one person in this thread received their order already (yesterday) from the 11th... (I forget who).

If I could reduce my nic to 2mg, my 8.125 liter nic stash (at my current 10ml consumption per day) would literally last me the rest my life and beyond.

111.23 years, to be exact.

I would love to not inhale, at least most of the time. That may be another goal of mine.

So stop inhaling, all the nicotine you get from vaping is absorbed by the mucus membranes, almost none by the lunges. Check our library for the reasoning:eek:, work, Oh no!

Smoking/vaping addiction/habit isn't 100% about the nicotine addiction. It's multi-faceted. Don't need no library or addiction counselor to know this. I'm a well-aware smoker/vaper/addict. :) But thanks for the suggestion all the same (barring the insinuation that I/anyone else is scared of "work" or reading ;)). I may check it out someday when I come to the conclusion I'm wrong [long wait ahead].

My addiction/habit is only partially nicotine.

The rest of my addiction/habit consists of...
  • the hand-to-mouth action
  • the inhale/exhale action and
  • the throat hit
If I can get rid the throat hit addiction/habit, I suspect the nicotine reduction would be easy for me. But it's hard to say how much of a nic addict I am until I see how I react without it or reduced amounts of it.

But the other 3 aspects are definitely huge components of my addiction.

You can't say "all" lol... the nicotine doesn't just magically disappear once it enters your lungs.

Mine hasn't shipped either. Order in progress. I ordered on the 11th probably around the same time as you!

I don't think @Lowjumper means the nic doesn't get to the lungs, just that the lungs don't absorb it or what nic they do absorb doesn't really get into your system.

Just did my Christmas budget and listed everything I bought with charges and totals as I do every year.:eek::ohmy::facepalm: It’s actually about the same as it has been for decades but still too much money. I am so glad I stopped my vapocalypse stocking. I wish my family would stop this madness. But I do love Christmas.

Hmmm, I ordered on 12/11 at around 11AM or so. Packed and labeled same day in the PM. Shipped 12/12. Arrived today 12/14 and held for pickup on Monday (at my request). Would have picked up today but I didn't realize it was going to come in ahead of schedule.

It was actually originally scheduled to arrive 12/16.
Stay away from those UPS trucks when you're out on the road lol

My 2 liters from the 11th arrived today, no signature.

The 2 from the 12th is due to arrive the 18th, per UPS.

The new freezer set to midpoint cooling is at -10F. Taking up some extra space with 3/4 full gallons of water.

Bottling today's nic now, to go in the very bottom, then I'll dig out the existing nic from the kitchen freezer.

I'm using some little dollar store plastic tubs to hold the bottles in the freezer, make it easier to pull them out whenever it needs defrosting.

That's really strange. My order from the 12th shipped on the 13th and is scheduled to be delivered on Monday. You may want to give them a call.

    Do Tell . . . ;)

    .
What they call "shoebox" storage bins, with covers, 6.25 quart capacity. About 9"w x 12-1/2"l x 5" h

My 8oz bottles are slightly too tall to snap the lids on, but I can stuff a lid in as a divider, stack 2 bins tall easily. I put a bunch of the individual bottles in one bin.

A lot easier than dealing with individual bottles, and the sidewalls are tall enough to keep all the bottles vertical.
