Are there circumstances where 17Track gives you more information than the carrier sites?

Yes, in fact I have 3 packages coming from china right now that show nothing in USPS tracking except "Status Not Available". Been like that for almost a week now.

But at 17track, I see actual tracking data & movement of the package.

I find this to be the case more and more nowadays as many Chinese retailers seem to be using WANBexpress as a shipping agent. You know if they are using WANB when the tracking starts with WNB.

If at checkout you see "USA Special Line" as the shipping service, it might be a good indicator WANB is being used as a shipping agent. That is my experience so far.

So 17track is a good site to use in a case like this, otherwise you would think your package is lost, not moving, confiscated by the mafia babysitter government, etc.

Unless there were two things wrong with mine, a bad switch and the leaking pin.

My guess it is a faulty board. Possibly defective from factory or due to leak damage. But if leaking is the culprit, it could be that there is liquid/residue in there causing this and may just need to be opened and cleaned up.

Could be saved for later - remove the switch and board and turn into a mech with a new, proper mech switch & wires. That isn't a job for everyone, but should be an easy one.

I did clean it but there was not much liquid in the thing. I also sealed the leaky pin. I think it was just faulty. I’ve spent enough time on it. Moving on.

So I put my clean and dry wasp nano and a battery in my luxotic. I was going to dry burn the coil and give it a go to see if it still leaks. I did not put a bottle or juice in it. I let everything dry overnight. It immediately started firing without me touching a thing. I took everything out and tried a second time and it fired on its own again. Oh hell no...it’s going in the trash. I’m glad it was cheap and I’m not out much. Be careful is all I can say!
Contact them for a credit. They need to know about it.

Sorry you had a problem. Mine has been fine but I only use it with a regular tank.

So are you saying CASAA possibly engages in creating drama and spreading unfounded rumors in an effort to possibly increase support and memberships for their organization?

That would not surprise me in the least. I've long ago learned that you can't even trust those who "have your back" these days. :(

If you actually knew the people who volunteer and work for CASAA, such a vile action would surprise you completely. I was involved in the process deciding whether or not to issue the updated Call to Action. It had absolutely nothing to do with "an effort to possibly increase support and memberships for their organization." I have an entire Skype chat of the board discussing what to do. Nowhere does increasing support or membership come up in the conversation.

However, we did know that CASAA was between a rock and a hard place with our membership regarding the flavor ban rumor. If the rumor didn't come to pass and CASAA did a Call to Action, CASAA would get criticism for fear mongering. If the rumors were true and CASAA knew about them and did nothing, CASAA would get criticism for not warning members. Paul Blair isn't "just someone" and VTA had already issued a Call to Action. CASAA ultimately decided to issue the updated Call to Action out of an abundance of caution, but tried to mitigate panic by making it as clear as possible that it was based on rumor.

I didn't make any negative claims against CASAA, just asking questions and stating my feelings on trusting organizations in general.

If you read a few posts down from where you quoted, I did state that CASAA did not claim anything was set

Well to be fair to CASAA this time, I'm the one that read it as "set". CASAA merely stated "There is a high likelihood".

    My bad.

But thank you for your reply.

I just wanted to clear it up for you (and anyone else reading) that CASAA does no such thing. Thanks. :)

Good call, in today's climate with vape, things can happen in an instant, thanks for all you do!

Did anyone here get an email right before Xmas specifically from Central Vapors asking for you to leave a review about them?

I haven't gotten an email from them since 12-2-19 and I don't think I removed myself from their mailing list. They did send me emails asking me to review products I had purchased in November. But never anything asking me to review them specifically.

I never got that one. Just requests to review stuff I bought.

I have mixed feelings about them. I got a messed up delivery once. Called them and they fixed it immediately. Very friendly CS. On the downside they sell a lot of cloned stuff and don't say it's cloned on the product pages. Should be obvious from the prices I guess.

I did the fixes before ever setting up the mod with an Atomizer,,, everything was fine for about 2 days,,, then the same thing happened to me. I plan to gut the mod and make it into a full mech ... Dont toss yours,, someone like me will rework it from our bone yard mods parts box

Something to keep in mind,,,, these mod/atty makers became informed of flaws in some runs/batches,,, they still shipped them to a warehouse here/there,, waiting for another fear event to unload these items even dirt cheap covers their costs including shipping.
99% of you have way more than you will ever need ,, many will discover the broken items as time goes on,,, it becomes the moment you realize you disrespected your money.

I feel sort of bad for those on a budget trying to buy up anything that comes along,,. Keep it simple,,, this is like the 3rd "vaping world is going to end" _____we are still here with even newer gear.

Herd mentality can cost you,, I see it stocks too,, its called pump & dump

These deals at eightvape are killing me... Picked up 2 mods, 5 pod systems, and 6 3-packs of replacement pods. None of which I needed. But I got 12% off and free shipping, I guess that is all that matters.

EDIT: This is my 3rd order with them this week.
Yep, too good to pass up, 3 orders for me too LOL!

Not sure what I'm missing at Eightvape but today is the first day I haven't gotten an email from them in a really long time. Oh well I'm "done" anyways.
Cheap Vape Mods + Vaping Deals & Sales

They even had a bunch of stuff for free (limit 1 per person), most of that is gone now though... but xmas12 gets you 12% off and shipping over 50 is free. The Revenger X Kit for $14 is a steal.... I got 3 of the gold/black the other day, but they just raised the price on those to $16 today, the green is still 14. I also grabbed 20 3-packs of coils for under 14 bucks earlier this week. They have sold out of quite a bit the past week.
