Oh, I don't disagree with her... I was out of control. We should be worrying about retirement, not overspending on things that we will never get around to using.

I can definitely sympathize. I have very rarely used my credit card for vape purchases. I pay the bills and manage the checking account so I don't think my wife has much of an idea what I spend on vape gear. However, I am trying very hard to scale back. I added my purchases up for the month of November and it made me sick. It's very easy to let it get out of hand. Its 20 here and 15 there but it all adds up quick. I doubt very seriously that I'll be able to stop buying but it sure is going to be a lot less. At least I hope so anyway.

The FDA has full reign over food, pharmaceutical and tobacco products.
No, only to the extent that actual law, passed by Congress allows.

EDIT: If they were to pass a law saying refillable tanks could be sold in adult shops, but the FDA said they were not approved and therefore illegal, the FDA would trump the law on the books.
Again, no. They (the FDA) cannot pass laws. They can only promulgate regulations within the powers granted to them by the laws that Congress passes.

A sure sign you are done...

When you go through the entire kanger wholesale sight and see nothing that catches your eye and find yourself sitting there saying " $5 for a subtank mini...hmmm....do I really need any more?" and the answer comes back a resounding NO.

Yep I am done. The only think that could possibly convince me to buy anything is extra bottles for the aegis squonk and I have had no luck finding those.

I did not say the FDA passes laws. lol I was referring to Congress passing a law allowing something like refillables in adult establishments and then the FDA not approving those devices, thus making them illegal. The FDA's ruling would override that law. Even if Indian Reservations were exempt, the problem would be the importation and transportation of those illegal devices.

If there was a law about where a specific cancer treatment could take place that Congress had passed, but then the FDA decided that form of treatment was no longer allowed... The FDA would trump the law. That is the same scenario as I am talking about.

I'll be checking for a sale near Chinese New Year, probably pick up one spare squonk panel/bottle combo.

I use nothing but my cc for all purchases specifically for the 2% cash back feature. All bills, groceries, pretty much everything. I pay it off every month. I love my 2% but you have to pay it off. One of the better things I’ve done. I just let it build up and I’ve never used a penny of it.

But I got caught up in the sales and doomsday aspect of the vapocalypse too. It’s easy to do. Shinyitis is real. I still think my stash is reasonable though.

I did and that number has been erased and changed so much my paper has holes (no I didn’t do excel as I had no idea shopping would continue this long). It’s shocking. However, it equals about 13 months worth of smoking cigarettes for me. I’m ok with it. But I feel guilty that my addiction even cost a cent to be truthful. But that’s life and I’m happy. I recommend keeping up with the total so you can keep tabs on it.

The money I spend over the years of vaping, it's a fraction of what I spent smoking for just one year at 2.5 PAD.

I personally never had shinyitis. I still don't, I'm just in hoarding mode. I also bought bulk juice for 7 cents/ml most of that time. That's how I spent so little. never needed lastest and greatest hardware or juice.

But I have always hoarded because I have always seen the writing on the wall, that's why I hoarded almost from the beginning.

I don't look for "cool" stuff, I look for stuff I know works which is mainly old stuff from 2015-2017. Which is good because you can usually get it for cheap.

The money I spent in this month alone is about 3/4 of a 1 year 2.5PAD expenditure. Even though I technically cannot afford what I spent right now, I don't have any regrets.

From here forward, it's all savings. That's the way I see it. I don't see any other way to see it, really. I mean, if you are a committed smoker/vaper.

I am keeping my CC statements and PayPal statements so I can do a tally someday when all is closed down. Right now I don't want the sticker shock LOL

Unfortunately all my stuff was bought with one credit card so I am forced to look at it when I pay it.

It's Geekvape Cerberus and Vaporesso NRG (but not the NRG SE)

Hmm I just picked up an NRG SE with my Tarot Baby. Will make sure that a Geekvape Super Mesh x2 coil and the Vaporesso GT coils I've purchased fit it when I get home. It's ok if the RBA doesn't I'll just use this tank up first.

Well since I've only used one credit card to stock up on that was fresh when I got it I know what I've spent... roughly $6,000. And there isn't a soul around to make me feel guilty about it, not that I would.

I did for a while. But I got over it when the guys (vendors here on ECF) who made the stuff I lusted after stopped making it.

'Tis OK, 'cause I'm still completely happy using that stuff.

Suppose a marijuana dispensary sells THC liquid and also carries mods and atomizers that might also be used for eliquid. Does the FDA's existing authority allow them to prevent those sales? If the answer is yes they

Is anyone using the Short Stop product? Might it be used to add protection to a mech squonker? The only squonk mod I have right now is several original Pico Squeeze (which is protected).

If I had kept smoking for the past 5 years it would have cost me about $16,000. I haven't added up the stash, a few thousand, may be.

I have a 510 flashlight head that screws into a 510 mod. I thought it was fun to have LOL found it on FT
I missed the flashlight heads y'all are talking about. I have some impressive 18650 powered flashlights, but I would buy one of these 510 torches just for the novelty and hope it's also a decent flashlight. Are they always sold out?

I DO have a 510 Laser head. It's best used on devices that don't have a time limit cutoff. Otherwise, your cat might get frustrated, heh.

I've never used it, but MVS states...

ShortStop has been verified to work in the following devices and configurations:

    • Silver Bullet with single 18650(AW/IMR)
    • Omega with single 18650(AW/IMR)
    • Helix with single 26650(MNKE/IMR)
    • Empire with single 18650
    • GG (any model that takes an 18mm cell)
    • Smoktech BOLT with 18650
    • Smoktech Telescope with 18350,18500 and 18650

ShortStop has been verified to NOT work in the following devices and configurations:
Provari (any battery or cap configuration)
     MVari
     MINI-MVari
     Lambo 4.0

So with that, and the price, I'm not going to bother with it as it appears to be a gamble as to whether it will work in the device you want it to work in.

Standard gv and Vaporesso coils should fit fine. It's just the exo s rta that's very wide.

Saw a kit on kangerwholesale/lightfire for $63 for a Pico S. Has anyone seen a really good price for just the mod? I'd love to pick one up it's been on my bucket list since I first saw it but they're always so expensive.
Provape might be a touch cheaper. They have the mod only and currently running a 20% off coupon NEWYEAR (it's on the website as well).
