I tried out the Geekvape Athena squonk bottle in the lost vape Drone 250c to see if it could be used as a backup bottle. It's shorter than the original, but it fits. Would just have to put a spacer under it. Since the Drone bottle is hard to find/more expensive, I'm glad my $.10 Athena squonk bottles will work in the future, should I need them.

My four ECR heads from Eleafus have been shipped for free at a $40 value.

Yes. At first I thought it was spam but luckily I took a closer look.

Same! Thanks to @JCinFLA !!! I thought it was spam too and was really agitated that I had gotten hacked again at first... then I opened it.

Did your email say from USA Warranty?

That's maybe the documentation they have to use when sending items to customers with ordering problems, for free...so they can account for the cost of the items and the shipping? IDK for sure, but seems likely to me. Otherwise, how do they have proof they've taken a "hit" financially to make things right for us?

If a "normal" height squonk bottle is obviously short, you might want to use one of the "2x700" squonk bottles I get from fasttech. They measure 18mm x 53mm tall (to top of the cap, measured with digital calipers), hold 8 ml.

    The part number/sku is 9658502.

They have an air inlet collar - if you fill via 510 bottle, seal that with a little fda grade silicone.

They're sold out: SMOK TFV8 Baby Light Up Coils (Pack of 5) | For the TFV8 Baby Beast, Big Baby Beast, and Baby Prince Tanks

Brunhilde mtl really is a stellar restricted dl setup. I'm running with the 2.5mm restrictor, a 2.5mm ID txp 26 kanthal coil - excellent flavor!

    Too bad it isn't a 24 or 25 width, and a bit shorter, but that's a shrug.

The steel ropes quickly went bye-bye. For my coil diameter rayon wick works perfectly feeding from the reservoir. I fluffed it out, trimmed excess, then just stuffed it in the two feed holes.

Thank you for the recommendation. I might put a couple in my next fasttech order, $2.36 is a decent price.

Putting the link up to make it easier for for people to find them.

Really. That is good to know. The ropes are completely new to me and I had wondered, before being reassured that the quality of that steel was made to last a long time, if that was something that could be replaced eventually.

Do you just prefer the rayon wicks, or does something about the Brunhilde ropes turn you off?

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
My three orders from 8vape are coming in weird. I ordered on the 24th (unfulfilled), the 27th (out for delivery today), and the 29th (unfulfilled). Weird. Probably just the holidays so I'm going to give them more time.

they have never been known for their customer service.

Well I just heard back from 8vape. I'm surprised I did at all, TBH.

Due to the influx of orders that came in over the holidays, our warehouse is backed up and processing times are longer than expected. Please accept our apologies for the delay along with this discount code for 10% off of your next order.

    END.

    No coupon was given

Sounds like a canned response to all "where's my order at" requests with a reference to a coupon code that wasn't there.

At 9 days old, even though they are swamped and have a notice on their site, the fact that other orders are shipping much quicker, they should look into it and move the order up in the queue. It's not like it's only been 5 days. 9 days.

I see now why so many people hate them. They make it really easy.

I don't hate them, but I have no use for them anymore (good thing). The coupon would have been useless to me.

My first wick with the ropes had dry hits fairly soon, so I just switched to something that's worked consistently for me, rather than fiddling with wicking for the ropes.

Is anybody finding batteries for provari’s?
Somebody already mentioned it but IMR batteries is where I got mine. They're legit batteries that actually tell you that they have had the button soldered on because you're just not going to find button tops like that anymore with reputable brands but don't worry they work just fine and it's not like somebody in their shed did it it's a legitimate manufacturing process I asked cuz I was very concerned

    :)

I am reading the new comments in the Deeming thread. I still do not understand what on earth has been “decided.” None of this is clear to me.

On a very related note, I just bought my second $25 Asmodus Candy Green Lustro because I sure as heck don’t want to be left at the mercy of what *might* happen.
Love the candy green. Its the prettiest mod I have.

You can also buy silica cat litter. Wrap some in a paper coffee filter and secure with a rubber band. Much, much cheaper if you need quite a few.
Oh damn that is a great idea that's exactly what I'm going to do. And any leftovers can be used for my house full of cats

I personally don't think a little holiday backup is enough to write off a supplier but that's just me. It's your money. I'll still recommend EightVape 100%, they've worked their way into my #1 hardware supplier.

Bad idea. The rubber band will lose its elasticity and come apart after about 5 years and you will have loose litter in with your mod. Use empty tea bags which Im sure you can buy on Amazon .
