Are you done stocking up?

I guess I'm the only one here who stocked up "the last time" and sees no reason or need to do so again?

I stocked in 2016 but my vaping preferences changed some. So my stocking is more accommodating that than anything else. Also I know now how inadequately I stocked back then. It was things from back then giving up the ghost that led to me trying a few new things which is what caused the shift in preference.

Been ready for years. Other than a few shineys along the way since, keeping my nic stock topped up, and adding the Skyline to my rotation of KF2Ls, feel ok about the long haul. Stopped getting built-in battery mods when stocking for 2016, and basically stopped using drop-ins at the same time.

So today I switched the fireluke 2 to the Oceanus, a nice 20700 VW mod from 2017. I'm thinking this'll be the mod for my trip.

Believe it or not, we had 4 atty connection options in 2010. 901 wasn't quite as popular as 808's and 801's and none were as popular as 510's so they slowly died away. they made/make adapters so you can use different ones so a 510 atty could be used on a 901 connection.

i remember owning an Indulgence mod that came with all 4 adapters.
Believe it or not, 901s are still available!
[link] 901 Atomizer
and elsewhere too, I'm sure.
I wouldn't place an order just to buy a couple 901s for my screwdriver. But, if a place had other stuff I wanted to buy....
A few Cisco spec 510 dripping atomizers found their way into my hoard that way last week.

I've got a half dozen or so drip tips designed for a long forgotten i06 atty, and useless for anything else. Although they have 510 threading, the drip tip covers them, rather than inserting into them. Ikenvape Io6 atomizer review

It's a great thing that vaping finally settled on a standard. Makes things a lot more simple.

    Somewhere between here and there
I got two of the skrr tanks the other day but have been sick so just got around to trying one. They are bigger than I imagined. I was surprised that they weren’t more airy. I’m glad. I put in the .5 coil and have the airflow about 3/4 open. It fits me well. I bought them mainly to try with the exo rbas that I bought. I’ll use this coil up first then try the rba.

Looks like it could break off easy if knocked over. IDK.
Yeah, I would switch to the 510 heatsink adapters instead of the ego adapters if you are trying to conserve your threads, that looks like if you dropped it a couple times it could cause an issue either with the tanks 510 connector snapping or loosening the 510 connection on the mod. https://www.fasttech.com/product/4895708-510-heat-dissipation-heat-sink-for-atomizers (there are 22,24,25 & 27 mm versions too https://www.fasttech.com/search?510 Heat Dissipation Heat Sink for Atomizers )

I posted over on Deeming that the DIY nicotine toothpicks do seem to work nicely. A low cost item where you can control the nic level, for places where you can't vape.

(I tried one 2mg nic lozenge - too high for me, and honestly not as pleasant to use as a toothpick that you can chew on a bit [emoji3] )

See post 41977 in this thread.

I substituted mccormick peppermint for the spearmint (readily available in grocery stores), made a batch at 1/4 the size (50 toothpicks, around 25 - 30 ml of liquid to soak them in), cut nicotine to about 2.5 - 3 mg per toothpick rather than the 6 of the recipe. 24 hour soak in a closed vial, shaken periodically, then dry on a paper towel. I skipped the baking soda bit.

    My post is 41977 [emoji3]

It's trivial. Pick some flavoring (menthol + peppermint in my case), plus some nic, use alcohol (I used 100 proof vodka) and pg or vg to flesh it out to the desired total ml of solution, soak 24 hours and dry.

The original recipe worked out at 4 oz of liquid for 200 toothpicks, with an average of 6 mg nic per toothpick being soaked. I know I vape less than a full PAD smoker, so cut the nic mg/toothpick down to about 1/2 that.

Use is stick it between cheek and gum, chew on it a bit..

Here's what I used to soak them - a random vial that was the right size.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Also I can now confirm that the Luxotic having the silicon bottle is NOT an indication on weather it needs the fix or not. Out of 3 Luxotics purchased since Sept 11 only 1 did not need the fix.

Anyone here know if the Luxotic MF (the VW regulated one, with screen) has the same issue as the Luxotic BF mentioned in this thread?
