Oh yes, that would be a drawback if you are just on your way to work or home from work and want to vape during the drive. Thanks Hak!
They would probably come partially charged, most (if not all) devices sold today do... Mods, cell phones, new batteries, etc.. So in a pinch, they should work. And with the newer batteries you do not need to worry about fully charging them before a first time use like you used to.

Sure you can probably buy screws that fit/work, but you won't find them at a big box store. So in order to buy the right ones, you have to know how to measure them accurately as well as figure out what the thread spacing/coarseness is - not easy to do, especially on such small screws.
FT sells the small screws, stainless in packs of 10. There is also an assortment box but nickle plated.

Well the worst possible scenario happened to my morning commute this morning. Left for work without my bottle of juice, my backup device, or my pod mod that could have gotten me through the whole day. Was left with my Juul I leave at work and some terrible strawberry off-brand pod. I'm saving the last bit of juice in my mod for the drive home. Knew this setup wasn't going to get me through the day and was considering leaving work early until the unthinkable happened...

I went to the convenience store and bought a 2-pack of Classic Tobacco Juul pods for $10.79 (rip off). The biggest surprise out of all of this? They really aren't that bad, like I don't mind vaping this flavor. Quite the surprise to me. I let a coworker who vapes Juul only try it and she had a similar reaction "Wow that's really not bad." Truly surprised, I might even turn my auto ship back on to get this free carry/charge case.
Just an fyi- if a store you go to for emergency vapes has Vuse Alto, the vape on it is far superior to Juul. They use Halo juice, and it's not only tasty, you get a much bigger, better, more consistent hit, and actually pretty darn good. A lot closer to a regular tank than Juul.

But be warned- there are issues with the pods lasting. They don't wick well at all, even if you don't chain. They'll begin to taste burnt after a dozen or more hits. I've had 4 pods I think, and they all wicked differently, but insufficiently. I found if you remove it, cover the bottom of the pod with your finger, and blow a short, gentle bit into the mouthpiece (based on someone else online saying that), it forces it into the coil, and you'll see a couple of bubbles rise, showing it worked. I called, complained, and they sent me a coupon to make a pack of coils $1 total.

I'm over them, and won't buy more pods after that replacement, because all the pods did it. But if I were in a real pinch, I'd definitely buy one again, over the Juul, and consider it disposable. And yeah, they're BT, but I'm in it for me, not to make a statement.

    Somewhere between here and there
I finally got around to trying one of the crown rbas in one of my old crown tanks. It’s a nice vape. When I get a chance, I’m going to build all of them to have them ready to use.

Really. I vape from wake to sleep, and sometimes in between wake and sleep and still vape approximately 3ml a day. Wow!
I bet I vape 3 ml on my drive to work. I am a DL cloud chucker. As long as we don’t smoke that’s all that matters. :)

And you can see well enough through the fog to drive?

I have to keep my driver's side window down and blow the vape directly out of it or yeah, I'm blind. BTW those "rain guards" aka vape shields that I had the dealership put on were worth every penny.

Welp I did it guys. Made it through a full day of work with 3/4 of a Top Tank mini and a tobacco Juul pod of all things. Top tank hits were saved for the drive in, lunch and the drive home.

But trust me and I'm happy to be home to my cloud chucking Mag with a TFV12 Prince.

What if you cant build for some reason? Then what will you do?

Keeping back enough drop-in coils for short term ( weeks, months) shouldn't be a problem.

But I remember my grandmother when she had arthritis in her hands pretty bad. Thinking about what she could and couldn't do, I'm not sure that slippery little glass tanks are an ideal answer either.

I do still have a couple of shoeboxes full of old school clearos and cartos. Even though I don't foresee the need to touch those again, who knows? Backup to the backups to the backups may eventually be worth the space they're taking up in the bottom of my closet.
