I don't know if this is even relevant. But, my order for heat sinks from fasttech was delivered today (2/6), ordered on January 15th, so basically 3-weeks. Tracking was virtually worthless.
FWIW, they seem nice. How effective is yet to be determined. Kinda cool looking though, LOL. They DO get very warm, which means heat drawn from the tank or not transmitted to it.
Are they the ones with fins? I bought some previously for the OG THOR which has a lowered 510 deck area but it was blocking the AFC on my bottom afc’s. They work great. Tbh I wasn’t exactly sure what they were for but they work great for my use.
10-20 years from now? I hope they'll allow vaping in the retirement home, heh!I was just wondering, if you are down to your last working 510 connection RTA 10-20 yrs from now, which one do you hope it is? For me a Kayfun, not particular which one, but hope I still have one in working order![]()
Yes, they have radiating fins. And they're available with notches for tanks that require airflow at the base. Are they the ones with fins? I think I'm down to one or two now; not really sure. I think I kept a KFL+V2 for old times sake, and possibly a Russian 91 as well.I was just wondering, if you are down to your last working 510 connection RTA 10-20 yrs from now
Short of a miracle everything or nearly everything will be off the market mid may.As I’m moving I thought about just giving away my stuff to anyone who wanted it aside from my best (paps, kiss, etc which I’ll take)
but perhaps not, what’s this latest limiting business? Anywhere I can read? What is the breakdown. No more 510s

Only stuff with PMTA's filed and accepted will be allowed to stay on the market for up to 1 year pending approval/rejection.
Individual States (I am talking about US in all this) might shut it down far sooner though.

You can also get heatsink drip tips.Yes, they have radiating fins. And they're available with notches for tanks that require airflow at the base.
UncleJunkle has some good information (above). Although, I know the sinks are doing their thing when I'm running 40 watts on my NRG tank. They get quite warm to the touch at this 'relatively' low wattage. Now, is it desirable to draw heat from the tank when you're a tootie puffer? I'm hoping it will avoid some of the hot vape I get when I get carried away chain vaping.

What do you think of the Russian? I saw one on clearance recently. Both 91 and regular. Waffled about getting oneI think I'm down to one or two now; not really sure. I think I kept a KFL+V2 for old times sake, and possibly a Russian 91 as well.
But I'm quite confident the BF RDAs I've been using for 4 years now will continue to work indefinitely. There's really not much that can to go wrong with them.![]()
Odd you should mention nursing homes NCC, they have pretty much outlawed smoking and vaping in and around nursing homes in the States....you might see a stray smoking area cordened off at the end of a parking lot if it hadn't been made illegal there yet. Sad for the oldsters who still want to enjoy a pipe of tobacco or a smoke. Most have to go down the street off the grounds. Nice way to treat our oldsters.
I think U.K. Is one of the friendliest vape countries at the moment.I don’t “like” it just the response
I’ll have to check the uk situation on this, ally
