Odd you should mention nursing homes NCC, they have pretty much outlawed smoking and vaping in and around nursing homes in the States....you might see a stray smoking area cordened off at the end of a parking lot if it hadn't been made illegal there yet. Sad for the oldsters who still want to enjoy a pipe of tobacco or a smoke. Most have to go down the street off the grounds. Nice way to treat our oldsters.

From what I went through with 2 elderly family members, I'm afraid no one really gives a rat's azz about the elderly anymore, not even the medical sector. I was literally pushed multiple times into letting them die.

Yet, god forbid they let the elder enjoy their last days with a smoke or a vape. It would not surprise me if they make the old folks have to cross a busy street to smoke in hopes that they get hit by a car. From my perspective, it's THAT bad and the world is THAT evil.

Listening to updates about coronavirus economic impacts. One of the items mentioned is Shenzen is "shut down". So if you have anything going on with Fastech it may be in limbo for a while. Apparently most all forms of shipping are also disrupted.
I was wondering about that. I was looking at Vaporl and they ship from Hong Kong, not as hard hit, so not sure about their shipping status. FT will be hit hard sadly.

I just checked and Hong Kong is on partial lockdown, so shipping from there might be ok, not sure tho.

@hittman or anyone else who bought the TopTank clones at CV.

Did you buy one of the colored ones? If so, was the cage part inside the glass also painted or are they bare metal as pictured?

I didn’t have one with me at work and could have sworn that the cage wasn’t black but they are.

I think U.K. Is one of the friendliest vape countries at the moment.

yeah, it’s only the limiting of the nicotine. Can’t say I’ve noticed much else but a lot of people vaping (kind of preferred it when it was less common really) and I was a late to the game which I also don’t like to admit lol.

when I’m at the traffic lights waiting to cross, perfect opportunity for a little puff and I look to my right and the three others waiting to cross are all chucking clouds smh haha

I feel like a little sheep so I put it away

Thanks for coming back to post that. Not a fan of paint (or whatever) inside a tank. Certainly not clones

Yeah, sorry about the mix up. I just got them yesterday and obviously didn’t look at them that well.

No problem. You were just remembering the picture. Those pictures they use are of the authentic Toptanks.

I'm pretty sure I'd rather be dead than in a nursing home.

Have to agree with that. "The Golden Years" is pretty much a fairy tale for most people.

Kinda like "The American Dream". As George Carlin said: "You gotta be asleep to believe it".

What do you think of the Russian? I saw one on clearance recently. Both 91 and regular. Waffled about getting one
I only ever had the 91, so I can't speak to the "regular". Six years ago, the R91 was the cat's meow on top of a DNA20; it was essentially an improved KFL+, but there were no KFLs available at the time. I also bought some (genuine) KFL+V2s later, when they became available and was happy to vape both, until the thing in the middle came along:

I tend to agree, although you may change your mind if you had to actually make that choice. I'm a full-time care giver to my 91-year old mom. She has lots of problems, medical included. As long as I can, I'll keep her home.

My geekvape Zeus rtas have colored cages. I never gave it any thought. They are for sure authentic.

I'll just say this: I work rehab/long term care. I'm a health care provider. I do take care of my patients to the best of my ability. The abuse stems from corporate greed. They overwork all the employee's and never take accountability for lack of staff. Personally, I would never place a loved one in a nursing home since I know the story. P.S. it's hard to retain staff in nursing homes.

Anyone having sales on samsung 18650s?

The more modern, authentic painted tanks are probably not a problem. But I got jaded back in 2015-ish when I bought a black subtank and the paint inside started to peel. Ejuce with floating pieces of paint in it. Kanger messed up bigtime there.

Never bought a painted tank since. But I'd buy one as long as the inside isn't painted.

I hear the newer subtanks and the toptanks do not have that issue, but I don't know about $7 clones.

Well, I’m going to use one of the ones I got for a while to see if that happens. If it does, I’ll try to remember to let everyone know here.

You should be able to find the Swag v1 much cheaper than the Swag v2. Keep that in mind. From what I read (IIRC), the only difference is that the Swag 2 does TC better, but the Swag 1 has a better build quality. But be sure to do your own research, of course.

One thing to add to this is that the Swag II can take a larger diameter tank. The Swags max diameter is 22mm and the Swag II has a max diameter of 25 mm.
