From what I went through with 2 elderly family members, I'm afraid no one really gives a rat's azz about the elderly anymore, not even the medical sector. I was literally pushed multiple times into letting them die.

Yet, god forbid they let the elder enjoy their last days with a smoke or a vape. It would not surprise me if they make the old folks have to cross a busy street to smoke in hopes that they get hit by a car. From my perspective, it's THAT bad and the world is THAT evil.

The retirement village where my mom lived, they allowed folks to smoke in their cars in the parking lot. That rule was instated after they’d allowed outdoor smoking, but some people would throw their butts on the ground. A few bad apples...

I’m not sure they even addressed vaping. I vaped in her apartment every time I was there. She allowed it, even loved seeing my latest vape lol. If anyone else had seen and said anything of course I would have stopped.

She was in a nursing home (Ohio) for a few weeks which had an outside smoking area. The staff would take people out there a few times a day. At least it was covered, better than nothing.

Was it someone in here looking for a Vaporesso cascade? Mt Baker has them on clearance for @$3. They also have Biips for about the same, pods and collars for them for under a dollar.
Nice catch, only $7 total shipped, compatible with baby beast, Vaporesso nrg gt series, etc.

Well I did pick up a couple Pal 2 Artery AOI's for $3 each, that was so cheap!!
I did too. Since the artery rba head didn’t work with the tank I have, made sense at that price to grab one to use with that, along with the Cascades. Really rock bottom prices!

FYI, FastTech order (placed on 1/26/2020) just moved from "Waiting for Packaging" to "Packaging". A second order (placed on 1/24/2020) still shows "Order Received".

Wishing the best to those impacted by the novel coronavirus.

I've got a big one with FT that was placed on 1.13.20 that still reads "Order Received." Slightly frustrating at this point.

If this could be done, I'm Not Sure it would be Good? Or if it would be Bad?

Besides being a way to Deflect any Blow Back from the coming FDA Drop Dead Date.

BTW - If the FDA Didn't regulate Tobacco Products, who would take on that Role?

Spin Off Mitch Zeller and his Merry Band and make a New Agency?
The article said they would create "an entirely new agency nested under the Department of Health and Human Services".

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The ATF. At least they have tobacco in their name.

That would be disastrous, to say the least. The ATF is an enforcement agency, essentially they are cops. It would be like letting a police department make the laws they enforce.

The Hill says it would be this...

"The White House's budget request for the upcoming fiscal year proposes making the Center for Tobacco Products independent of the FDA, with a director to be confirmed by the Senate."

Trump administration proposes removing FDA's authority over tobacco regulation

So if that is what is Proposed, I'm still Not Sure if that would be Viewed as Good or Bad by e-Cigarette Users/Companies?

If the Administration wants something that the CTP isn't giving them, then snit can Zeller and put your person in. The Head of the CTP doesn't need Senate approval.

Else is all this just Political Hiding behind Curtains of Smoke?

I need to be convinced that Alex Azar isn't as anti-vaping as he was in the 9/11 vape press conference. We have seen Trump indicate that he wants to keep vapers on his side, not sure about Azar.

Whatever happens with the new agency, and as much as I distrust congress and hate the anti-vaping bills they are considering, I feel like we are better off the more the new agency is controlled by congress. At least with congress, we have the possibility of voting them out of office. If it's just an unelected bureaucrat, we have less control.

I question if making the CTP independent of the FDA Really Matters one way or another?

Because I'm not very sure this is a Sincere effort to change "Tobacco" Regulation.
