Mine takes 18650 and 21700 batts. You slide-out the inner plastic tube to fit the 21700 batt.

I went and checked it after posting, I didn’t realize it had a sleeve.

A vaporesso Gemini rta that came DOA and for some reason I couldn't or didn't return it. I really wanted to try that tank I was pretty excited about it, the DOA really took the wind out of my sails and I never did end up ordering another.

What made it DOA?

My sleeve came with a thin oring around it to stop it from rattling around in the flashlight when using an 18650. But the oring was so thin that it was a bit fiddly to get the tube back in. So after I took the pic I put 2 (maybe 3?) rounds of electrical tape around the center of the tube instead. Much better.

I have a question for those of you that have been stocking up for years: do you regret any of your purchases? If you’re like me, you get more excited about all the new stuff that comes out and the stuff I bought 3 years ago is no longer appealing to me. I know many are happy with gear that’s been around for years but was just curious about others who are using newer tanks and mods

There aren't many things I've bought that I regret. The four or five Venvii Baby Ness Mods I bought are definitely among the few vape things I regret buying because the battery life is terrible. More than regretting what I bought, I regret not buying more vape gear. I've got a good stash, but I am always worrying that I need more.

My biggest vaping regret is not learning to DIY juice sooner.

It does frustrate me when i see newbs going down the flavour rabbit hole and spending a small fortune chasing unicorn juice for 2 reasons

1) its expensive, learn to mix and its orders of magnitude cheaper

2) i tried it myself and i came to one startling conclusion, flavours didnt work for me..maybe because the essential truth is when i smoked, it was one flavour for 35 years. Which is why unflavoured was the key, almost no taste, but consistency you couldnt find in any juice on the market, whether it was premixed or mixed from doublers or concentrates. People ask me "arent you tired of unflavoured after 4 years"..."No", and its the one thing that saved me from go back to smoking. Unflavoured is endlessly repeatable, no steeping needed (yes it can improve over time as with any juice), but its essentially shake and vape. When i was vaping nic my weekly vape cost me AUD$0.72...

I always find vape reviewers pulling out a bottle of juice and talking about it like its a fine wine from the Bordeaux region of France highly ridiculous. Its right up there with them banging about their quad alien blah blah clapton from <insert some guys name here who im supposed to believe is some sort of necromancer when it comes to wire and is better than me and my screwdriver and straight round wire builds> on facebook...

Vaping is utilitiarian to me, i have no time for the faffing...

All stocked up including nic except for some Zenith 1.0 ohm RDL coils and maybe if cheap enough some stuff from sites going out of business. Managed to do it for under $2,200 thanks to ECF posts and great clearance sales. I dont mind getting 2016-2017 stuff in 2020 cheap. I have been using only a Kanger subtank since early 2017! Will miss getting all the vape mail although have 2 orders from FT one which was ordered 1-28 which should arrive tomorrow and another that has not shipped. I have almost 20 years worth of drop in coils changing coil out each week.

Big suggestion to anyone that has not done or not started, copy and paste what you order from the order email into Excel right away so you know what you will have and have already in stash.

But what I mean is what was wrong/broken? The glass?

FastTech - Vaporesso Gemini RTA Glass

Oh, right. Umm I never got a reading off the coils. Folks said it was something about one of the posts losing polarity or something. I don't remember exactly but I did like three builds and nothing would read or it would say short I forget which.

Wet Vapes still has Geminis on clearance for $4.99.

I am honestly glad I am fully stocked, this virus has really disrupted things and I would hate to be in a panic buying mode at this late date. My current stocking mode is do I have enough supplies & food for a two week quarantine if I have too. No covid 19 cases here but probably just a matter of time. Crazy times!

Well thanks to FT, Reddit and Google, I may have found your problem and the fix which looks rather easy.

Apparently there was a big problem with the first run of the Vaporesso Gemini RTA where the negative post was wobbly. This was due to the screw inside the RTA's base that secures the post down not being tightened at the factory!

The fix is to unscrew the positive 510 pin, then insert a small screwdriver into the base from where the 510 positive pin was and tighten the screw that secures the post.

    Here's a webpage with pictures...

    Worth a shot.

Are you sure there isn't a tube inside the battery compartment that you can just slide out so you can fit a 21700 in there instead?
Yeah, mine doesn't have the tube, after seeing the picture of yours,it's totally different than mine, mine's not the adjustable zoom type it's just a fixed light,i still like it though even with it's limitations haha.
