Nobody really knows for sure whether or when the FDA will enforce against nic base. There's no question that it's a tobacco product, albeit an "unfinished" one. So one approach they could take is to issue guidance allowing the sale only to entities that are registered tobacco product manufacturers.

That's a good idea not to have the orings tightly "squished" for long periods of time.
IMO, this is the best stuff to lubricate o-rings. Food safe, won't degrade the o-rings, and you only use a tiny bit, so the container will last forever. It's much thicker and tackier than other lubes, and doesn't rinse off with just water, so you don't need to reapply often unless you really intentionally scrub it off with soap. And it helps make a better seal than thinner pg/vg. I homebrew, and use it on all the keg orings as well. Even the large ones on the keg with 15 years of use have never had to be replaced.
Unless you know that your oring is not real rubber, you shouldn't use any petroleum based product on it. Some people use lip balm, but some of those have petroleum products in them, and they'll break down real rubber.
Doing an inventory of my stash, I find have 8 mech mods: 2 Beyond Vape Beacons, 6 Nemesis clones, and 2 EHPro EA clones (which I don't remember buying, lol). Plus a Reo Grand LP. The thought of using a mech mod makes me very nervous, but at the same time, it's a comfort knowing I have them. If it gets down to my actually having to use one, I'm going to need this place and all the sage advice to be found here.
Really, I would be feeling very vape insecure if I didn't have some mech mods as back up for my regulated mods.
Does anyone have any recommendations on an inexpensive mech mod with a side fire button? (I have 5 bolts, but apparently the side switch on those can only handle something like 3 amps/1.2 ohm or higher.... I have several tube mechs with the button on the bottom, but I'd really prefer a side button).
Also, on a different note... The wife works with snotty disease ridden pre-k kids for the local school district and she ran out of hand sanitizer (she always has it on her lanyard). Obviously the timing was the worst possible to run out. smh I cannot find it anywhere, looked for rubbing alcohol to make our own and finally found some 2-packs at walmart... was looking for stuff to add to get over the $35 for free shipping and they friggin sold out in the meantime. lol I should have just checked out immediately and paid the stupid $5.99 shipping... Anywhoo, if someone sees rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer anywhere, let me know.

Check your Dollar Tree, Dollar General, and Family Dollar local stores. If they don't have any hand sanitizer, they should at least still have rubbing alcohol. My local stores do.

Don't remember if it was the Legend or the Solo (I have both), but dropped it on my cement garage floor getting out of the car. It didn't affect it at all.
The wife checked Walgreens and they only had huge refill bottles behind the register and it was limit one per customer, so she just figured she would get a smaller one somewhere else.. When she told me that I told her she was nuts. lol.. I went back the next day and they were sold out, then I checked Dollartree, Family Dollar, and CVS... all sold out (of both rubbing alcohol and hand sanitizer).
I think it's because someone died from coronavirus in our county on Friday, so everyone rushed to the stores... The wife went to Walgreens on Saturday, then I went out on Sunday.
If you don't mind scented products, you might want to check out Bath & Body Works. They have both brick and online stores.
Get some cheap mouthwash with 70% alcohol and VG and mix together
As long as you have any alcohol over 70% you can mix with any carrier to use as hand sanitizer. Rubbing, drinking.......
Amazon's price on Essential Depot VG went up by about 20% a few days ago.
I've been through at least 7 or 8 Glycubes over the years and haven't used any other.
I haven't checked their home site but that's on my list today.
