The 1 time i had a package entering customs in NY and it never came out. I ended up having to put a ticket in at FT (after their required waiting period) and request that they contact the post office. Their answer was months down the road and when I finally had to contact them again they apologized for the wait --it fell through the cracks somewhere along the way. They had received a answer from USPS a few weeks before that that USPS had declared it lost and then I got a full refund of my entire purchase. After you put the ticket in do not close it until they actually do the refund. Makes it easier for all to track the original request.....would not want to wait months only to be told they lost or cannot find original request.I've had a FT package stuck in Chicago for 12 days. I haven't had anything get stopped that long in quite a while.
