I just can't get into pods. They seem like a step back to the old days of pen type mods and cigalikes. Unfortunately, a lot of vape retailers seem to be selling mostly pods these days. You go to their clearance section and it's 90% pods. Every email I get seems to be what pods are on sale. No thank you! :nah:

They are fun for out and about, geez that sounds weird now since we aren't supposed to be out and about.

I agree completely. I think pods have their place, and like I said earlier, I really like the one I'm carrying for when I need to be super stealthy, but it's only a niche. Not a be all end all. It really seems things are moving in that direction though. Seems to be a more expensive direction, and that might be why they're pushing it so hard these days.

Vaporesso Revenger Go 220w kit, with an NRG tank, is $20 at eightvape. It's an internal battery mod, but 5000 mAh is pretty respectable.

Healthcabin has the Wotofo Flow tank in light blue or white at $3. It's another bb-compatible tank. (I use Flow heads as one of the types when I check compatibility.)

That’s a great price on the Vaporesso. I only have one internal battery mod - a Revenger Mini. Love it except battery life stunk mostly because I chain vape. So my next box mod was the Revenger X. Loved them so much I have 6 or 7 of them. Or one in each color. I really love the Vaporesso line of external battery mods inc the Polar, Luxe and Swag. All well built and reliable for me.

I’m tempted to get this mod. 5000 mah is a big battery for an internal mod.

Does anyone here have any experience with one?

Yeah I’ve always been a bulk buyer cause I don’t like going to the store all the time. My local store’s shelves were slim pickings in some areas and they had no bread but they had all hands on deck restocking. I want to limit my exposure now that I’m stocked.

I haven’t seen the inside of a grocery store for years but that’s because of a chronic health issue. I use Instacart or Peapod for all my grocery shopping. It really does help a lot!!

Heard that and immediately went to my local gas station. It is still $2.79 a gallon here.
Went to the grocery store because I have days of coffee creamer left. The whole coffee/cereal isle was decimated. Milk/eggs gone but I did score a half gallon of almond milk. I'll try it in a pinch. At the checkout there was a big burly guy with a gun holstered on his hip where no one could miss it. This is unheard of in Phoenix. People have gone insane.

He needs a gun to do errands??? Americans are so weird with their relationships with guns.

Expensive if one buys the new releases and go through a lot of pods. I've been having fun with clearance priced pods. I've found some decent pods at insanely cheap prices. Although finding replacement pods is tough to impossible once clearance stock dries up. It's cheap fun for me chasing them down and trying them out. I vape only menthol or unflavored, so the pods seem to be lasting long enough. Too bad the internal batteries make them not stock up worthy for the long term. But I should have enough devices and pods now to be podding along in style until the batteries all give out.

I've also come up with the justification that pods are saving wear and tear on my stock of replaceable battery mods when I'm using them out and about. Well, when I can go out and about normally again.

That’s exactly what got me into the pod systems I do have. Irresistible clearance pricing. I got my Teslacigs TPODs for $.75 a piece, and bought most of them just for the pod that comes with them because it was cheaper that way. At one point, the pods for my Hypnos were priced at a quarter for a pair of them. I lost count of how many I had at 240. Hopefully the batteries on these things hold out long enough for me to go through most of them.

LOL! I feel like a spendthrift with my $2 Blazer and 65 cent pods in comparison.
Not to mention the $6 Mico with $1 pods!

I just can't seem to like the hypno. Too bad cause I bought a ton of them.

The Minifit became the pod system of choice just based on performance. Using it for about 1ml/day, my wife 's first one just stopped working after a year and a half. Vaping a mint/menthol 2/3 pg liquid she's still on only her second pod. Tiny workhorses!

I've gotten a few other types through clearances that are fun for the short term but the Minifit is still the one we have stocked up for a couple years. It's worked in helping a friend cut her smoking in half so far and she hasn't had to fiddle or ask for help once.

I've added some Wismec Motiv 2 setups to give draw-activated vaping a try. It's almost exactly ten years since we tried our first ecig, a 401 based automatic cigalike that died within a month. It's funny how things keep going full circle in vaping!

I ordered two of the Vaporesso Revenger kits at that price. They are sitting in the shipping box in my quarantine area at home as we speak!

Off topic, but will an ultrasonic cleaner get the odor and taste of old juices out of RTA's?

It will if you put a few small drops of dish soap in the water. Rinse the parts thoroughly in clean warm water after they come out of the cleaner to remove traces of soap.
