Somewhere in the South
Normal cost, meaning stuff made by a company, bought at a store, is under $5 for a quart. Their price equates to $120/quart.

I hadn't known that isopropyl alcohol was unavailable in other areas. Where I am in NY I'm still seeing isopropyl 70%, though no 91%, with restocking occurring. Major chain supermarkets and pharmacies have limited purchase quantities, typically 2.

I finally got around to ordering one of the PB powders, to give it a try. I went with PBfit off Amazon; it sounds like both PB2 and PBfit have lots of advocates.

On the eliquid front, my apple pie mix is getting better after a couple days steeping.
I got the BPfit this week too!

    Somewhere between here and there
USPS strikes again. This morning it showed one of my FT orders out for delivery. Then I looked after I got home and it said arrived at post office after it said out for delivery. Needless to say, I didn’t get it.

    . . .

    Well Then . . .

Where I am in NY I'm still seeing isopropyl 70%, though no 91%, with restocking occurring.

    I'll take 2 bottles of each . . . ;)

The 8oz twist top condiment bottles I picked up for diy eliquids work nicely for iso/vg sanitizer. I added 2 wraps of Teflon tape to the threads, zero leaking with the bottle on its side.

AND - How much for 2 8oz bottles of "Home Made" ? ? ?
Willing to and can trade Ya' TP . . .

There's a company online that I've dealt with many times...who has cases of Purell Hand Sanitizer for approx. $70 per case of (24) 2oz. bottles. S/H is $10 for a case. That comes out to $3.79/bottle to your door. They also have Isopropyl Alcohol for $5.99 for a 16oz. bottle.

    At that price - I'll take 3 "Purell's" and 2 bottles "Alcohol" . . .
Also - Willing to and can trade Ya' TP with "You" too . . .

    Just Sayin' . . .

    :img:

How is/was Mexico. Did you have any problems with vaping there or getting in/out?
Thanks for asking Unc. Oaxaca is in danger of being the next hipster capitol. Here's the short story:

Got all the way there, then remembered I had my rig in my pocket at the last checkpoint (lazy). I did a little dance and jammed my rig into my backpack. Needless to say, another amigo had to come take a second look at the screen; I was green lighted. :thumb:

Unfortunately, I caught the Flu B flying over. By the 3rd day, I could only french roll or I'd hack my lungs out. Chills, aches, fever, chicken soup. Coughing in public was super ugly. Got back just in time (sort of). I have work; but my spouse, a nurse for the state, gets to work from home for another week.

All in all, it was a 7 out of 10. I plan on going back (as I'm getting ready to imbibe in some of the mezcal I brought back).

BTW - folks in the US could learn a thing or 2 about TP and how to use it ;). jk. lol.

Spent the day doing DIY, but not juice, making masks! I was trying different styles to see which ones work best best. My ordered ones have not shown up yet.
I did that yesterday but I used this pattern

That way if we never use them we can donate them to the local cancer center after this is all over.

WELL - Although the original post was meant as a humorous quip . . . AND - Even though I really don't think I will have to, but I may have to call on Ya' if things become an extreme situation/necessity and they do not replenish supplies around here . . . Long Story Short . . . I woke-up this morning to find out that there was yet again another water main break (not the sewer system this time) . . . While this has been an on-going situation, this time it has effected most of the city (90%) . . . So there is - NO Washing Hands/Dishes/etc., NO Showers, No Flushing Toilets (or should I say no refilling the tank . . . ) - they say for at least 24 hours . . . NOT HAPPY ! ! ! :-x

    I should have "Knocked - On - Wood" before I posted . . . Just Sayin' . . .

    However - Thankfully
    - I have enough bottles of water for Drinking and some hand-sanitizer/wipes/spray disinfectant to use as NEEDED . . .

(BTW: This is also meant as just a "humorous" take on "Life" and a laughable situation to hopefully - lighten the overall mood . . . ;) )

That happened here just last Sunday followed by a few days of a boil order. Cue even more bottled water hoarding....

Anyone nearby have a pool? The neighbor used water from his pool to refill his toilet tanks for several days after Irma. We're all on well systems out here, so most of us store large amounts of water before hurricane season, to prepare for the inevitable loss of power. He didn't need to store any though for flushing...because of his pool. Just a thought for you....

    YEP - THANKS
for the suggestion . . . So Glad that "You" always have useful information/suggestions to share with everyone . . .

AND - Already done, "Our" pool is just 2 buildings away from mine - So I got 2 Buckets earlier . . . OH - And so did a few other neighbors too . . . ;)

Could even take a quick dip to "wash-up" if NEEDED (since it is chlorine water) . . .

Matter of fact, "We" live right next to the Inter-coastal also, so getting water to flush the toilets (of course not for drinking) for 250 units - No Problem . . . Just Sayin' . . .

That’s really bad timing. Hopefully they’ll get it fixed soon.
