Wish you were right, but I doubt that will happen- This was in the news today:
"The House Oversight Committee urged the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in a letter on Wednesday to "clear the market" of e-cigarettes, which makes smokers more susceptible to contracting coronavirus."

Oversight Committee urges FDA to ban e-cigarettes, vaping over coronavirus risks

Nah, they have absolutely no data whatsoever to prove that vaping is more dangerous than smoking, let alone any data whatsoever that proves it's more dangerous than smoking during a respiratory disease pandemic.

Only way this would have a chance in hell is if they would want to ban cigarettes, pipe tobacco and cigars, too. But they won't touch that with a 10-foot pole.

It's dead in the water IMHO.

ETA: These people CLEARLY have nothing better to do. They should be promoted to sanitizing the toilets, offices & hallways where they work. Only then would they actually have an important job to do.

and are probably on the way to be postponed...again.
The best news in the letters is FDA employees have been transfered to higher priority activities. Higher priorities could persist for a long time. I expect we are living in the era between BC and AC, Before Coronavirus and After Coronavirus.
what kind of shiny toys are you considering?
The next order will be parts and duplicates. After that I'm still looking for a +4-6 ml mtl tank where I can find plastic or metal tank tube to use on it and a pico style mod that can carry it. I'm always open to serious bargains if they come up. I'm avoiding anything that's not rebuildable.

I'm fortunate to be working at home. I just got off a video chat with a vaping co-worker. He uses a SMOK subohm tank, is out of coils, and all the shops are closed. I offered to loan him some hardware but he declined. Poor guy, once before I even recommended that he start visiting the Vapor Forums to see what's really happening.

Well, fortunate to be retired :), but that's always been my issue with blister pack coils, what do you do when you run out, or, worse, when the maker moves on to something new...

RTA and a spool of wire, vape forever. (Well, with a stash of nic, of course!)

Online shops are still open...and way cheaper than vape shops.

Well, what can ya do. You did what you could to warn and help the guy, but some people just can't be helped be it through refusal to see the harsh reality, stubbornness or pride.

They reap what they sow. You plant nothing, you get nothing.

With drop in coil tanks one thing that turned me off of them originally was incompatibility of the coil heads with different tanks. I feel the same way about cars, I think they should have more universal parts, and it should be easier for an owner to work on a vehicle if they have to. The throw-away and replace with new trend is wasteful, that bugs me.

Depending on which SMOK tank I might have an extra RBA deck for it. Assuming he has any inclination to learn to build.

It’s been awhile since I’ve shopped for anything. That being said since NY has decided to ban all online sales effective 7/1. So what are some reputable websites to shop from these days?

My favorite is Kanger Wholesale. Big selection (not just kanger), good prices, fast delivery, ships from the USA.

    Somewhere between here and there
The vaporesso gt coils that many stocked up on fit several different tanks. I've run them in a geekvape Cerberus, an skrr tank, and couple others. Even the innokin z coils will fit the zenith, zenith pro, and zlide tanks.
