I keep a little build kit and spare bottle of juice in the glove box in my truck.I have it in one of those little zip up ego cases.I used to have a syringe in there too,until i watched live pd one night a cop was searching someones car and found a little case like that with their drug kit including a syringe,even though mine had a blunt needle,i figured i better take that syringe out haha.
I won a Vaporesso XTRA with spare pack of pods (not sure which resistance) from DJLSB. I see a PIF as soon as it shows [emoji3]
(I've settled on their Renova Zero as my if-I-want-to-use-a-pod set, so the XTRA needs to find a home.)

I once got pulled over on the flimsiest of excuses, mainly because the cop saw my clouds and thought I was smoking some of that funky weed stuff. He asked me if I had ever been arrested for drugs or anything...ugh, NO. I think he was disappointed to see that it was merely an ecig. No arrest for that small town cop, sorry.
Hey, don't make fun- honesty works in those situations. When I get too wasted, and get pulled over, when the cop says "Step out of the car, please." I just say "Nah, I'm too drunk - you get in!"

I got harassed by the Rangers in Yosemite (the young ones are like Nazies... they know it's a federal park and they can calll "Patriot act" at any time) They asked me what the "pipe" thing in my trunk was (as if I was building pipe bombs) I asked then to show me what they were talking about... it was the damned special socket for the locking lug nut for the mag wheels LOL.
So... yes, I can see a simple syringe (even with a blunt needle) being a big deal (idiots!!!)
Why are they searching your trunk without a warrant? Or why the hell did you give them permission to search you trunk? That's the first and second things your lawyer would ask you.
Back when I first started vaping I got pulled over more than once and they tested my eliquid to make sure it wasn't drugs. LOL
That's one thing i've always been leary of.I remember a few years back reading about a few different times that happening to people,and something in their juice,if i remember right,i think it was Ethyl maltol or something,was giving a false positive on the test.My adv juice for over 4 years now has em in it haha.I'd rather not take the chance,so i just try not to vape if i see a cop anywhere around.
The first time I flew with vape gear I was nervous. At customs the young guy at the counter got a worried expression on his face and looked around behind him. Then an older woman came over and whispered in his ear. She took all my gear out, pointing at it and telling him stuff that I couldn't hear. Then she pushed the tray along and smiled at me.
I figured he was new and it was the first time he had seen vape gear. Since that time it's got as much attention as a paperback book.

Only one i've ever actually happen with me was probably 5-6 years ago at the state fair.State trooper cadets do the security for the fair,when we went in,you have to go through a metal detector.I put all my stuff in the tray,including my stingray mech tube,then walked through the detector.When i got to the other side,2 troopers were standing there staring at my mod,one of them looked at me and said "That's the biggest pipe i've ever seen",then he quickly changed it around and tried to say he meant it looked like a copper faucet pipe,the mod was brass haha.
I figure he had no clue what it actually was at first.
I'm surprised it didn't come up positive field tests are garbage. I was in school for Crime Scene technology for a while and we got to play around with a lot of the tools that cops use including evidence testing kits. My instructor was ex-police and in my area if you go for Crime Scene technology you have to become a police officer which is 90% of the reason I stopped that as my major.
A variety of things come up positive for a variety of different drugs. When you hear stories about the police testing donut frosting and it coming up as methamphetamine it's an accurate story it's not a lie, it does... it can. there's nothing special about donut frosting it's just that the test is so poor. It would be better for the cops to just lick the substance and say what it might be LOL of course that's not exactly scientific but a variety of different items came up positive for things that they most certainly were not and had never come in contact with.
Of course I haven't been in school or 15 years so things might have gotten better but I doubt it there's no good reason to make sure that the tests are accurate. Impact from both a money-making and a criminal justice standpoint it makes more sense to have faulty test.
Of course all substances go to the lab afterwards that's a whole different scenario those tests are usually very very accurate so long as the staff is honest
