Well, that all makes sense. The only time I bought anything off alibaba was when it was the last place on the planet I could locate an engine nano, and that was a while ago. Thanks for the info.
Did anyone else get an email request for a survey from ecig Intelligence? I got one today. This group is based in the UK. I think this is a group I did a survey with back in the fall during the flavor ban scare.

Same here.I think i did one from them before, but not sure if it was the same place or not.Yes, and, not sure (likely faulty memory) who they are, declined to click it.
Quite a few of us are currently using nicotine that's been in the freezer in glass for 6-10 years now and it's as good as the day we put it in there. So I don't think this is something you really need to worry about. At some point I start to question whether or not I would use nicotine that's been sitting in freezer for 20 years, no matter how well I seal it in glass.

RESEARCH: CASAA is cooperating with researchers from the Department of Life Sciences at Manchester Metropolitan University, UK! This cross-sectional study will look at real vapers' habits and compare self-reported health of people who vape vs smoke.

The public health mafia and tobacco control zombies have been trying to stamp out vaping since it first appeared. The controlling influence is protecting tobacco taxes which funds both and a lot of other institutions like public education and medical research. I decided to be self sufficient in mods, atomizers and nicotine more than 4 years ago and don't regret it. If you plan to be a life long vaper it might be prudent to do the same. The economics makes it kind of a no brainer. Smoking cost me $3,000 a year for a carton a week 5 1/2 years ago in Michigan. A year supply of DIY eliquid costs me about $25. My last relapse was after 10 years, can't be too careful, if you're me.Wow, this thread has been going for Four years!?
I've been out of the loop, is nicotine scheduled to be unavailable any time soon?

Thanks, I was pretty active in the general forum my first few years here and I'm aware of the politics. I just got burned out sometime in 2017 and don't closely follow the news, analysis and rumors, although I still occasionally get emails from CASAA and VTA, most of which I don't read. The public health mafia and tobacco control zombies have been trying to stamp out vaping since it first appeared. Thanks for the response. So, the short answer is we don't really know, it seems.Hello, Mazinny!
Nobody knows. See my post above--it's not a finished product, but as @sofarsogood noted, they'll probably go after anything that's not nailed down. Or tax it same as cigs...
At least one FDA drop dead date will pass without action. I recall a bunch of others were threatened by government and didn't happen though some states have passed burdensome restrictions. Waiting too long could backfire if there is a buying panic. In the mean time a 10-20 year supply of the minimum stuff most people will need is dirt cheap compared to smoking so why mess around? Thanks for the response. I don't really know if I will be vaping 10 years from now. As is, i vape about a quarter of what I used to five years ago. But I will probably buy another liter of nicotine soon, anyway. I vape about about 60 ml of 10% nic a month, so that liter should last me fourteen years at my current consumption rate.At least one FDA drop dead date will pass without action. For your nicotine, you should consider the house brand at Heartland Vapes. It is a good quality nicotine at a good price.
I solved your problem early on by settling on only one mix, 1% of one all-in-one flavor, almost flavorless, so no palete fatigue. I remember being able to taste the slightly peppery taste of the nic I was using, for the first few days, then that ceased to be an issue. I vape for the nic, texture, throat hit, not flavor. My main concern is the shelf life of the electronics and OLED screens in my mods. I won't use unprotected devices.I was hoping to test a smattering of brands before making a final decision, but I'm in the odd position of being in NY, where I am not sure if I can get it here past July 1. I have settled on Carolina Xtract, which can break the bank, but I like that it is US made using CO2 and domestic organic tobacco.
I have a sample from Nude Nicotine which took forever to reach me. I also have a significant quantity from River Supply. I have been happy with River Supply's service and the quality of their VG and PG.
In my estimations of lifetime nicotine use, I failed to factor in waste and potential changes in nic level. I think it's important to recognize that you won't actually vape every single ml of eliquid you produce if you end up dumping failed blends, which happens to me frequently. And from what it sounds like from other members, frozen nicotine should last indefinitely.
My bad for letting it the thread go dormant. One of these days, I'll take some new pictures and ask Classy to re-open it.Hi Rossum. Since your thread about nicotine is closed, I'll ask you here. I need to buy some more nic, perhaps another liter, since our governor is threatening new taxes on nic, and nobody knows if that will pass/include base nic (not a finished product). But the state is desperate for money, so I'm not going to take any chances. Did you, in your experiments, formed an opinion on nicotine's long-term storage and diluent? I know that Kurt preferred VG because of its viscosity, but VG is harder to work with. I usually order a blend that I normally vape. Any thoughts?
Yup, since not long after the Deeming was finalized.Wow, this thread has been going for Four years!?
I agree with the others who've answered: Nobody is can really say for sure what approach the FDA will take with nic base. It's not a "finished product", and it generally isn't sold in retail establishments, so they may not take direct action against it. However, they could easily issue "guidance" that mandates suppliers only sell it to FDA-registered tobacco product manufacturers, which would leave DIY high and dry. Thus the safest approach is to have however much you expect to need, in stock, bottled in glass, in your freezer.I've been out of the loop, is nicotine scheduled to be unavailable any time soon?
