@sofarsogood - About this: "The other tank I'm using right now is this, I think it's a 24 mm beserker? It's okay and has it's place but I get a better vape from the rda. At least the 24 has never leaked a drop. Wish I could say the same for the 22mm version."

If it's an authentic Vandy Vape 24mm Berserker...it would have the words "Enter a State of Wild Fury" written 2 times around the lower edge of the top cap. It would also have VV specific identifying numbers and other info on the bottom of the base. It looks to be one of FT's Berserker "Styled" tanks. If it's a styled one, that may be why you're not getting a better vape from it. Also, I'm wondering about the leaking on the 22mm Mini one you have. If it's an authentic, those same words should be on its top cap, with the VV identifying info on the bottom of the base, too. Then there shouldn't be any leaking. At least I haven't personally experienced any with the authentic Minis nor 24mm ones I have. I remember though, that other people have posted in the past about a few problems with the "styled" versions of them.

Both are 'styled' I'm sure. My stash is $30-35 authentic mods and $7-20 styled atomizers with a few authentic exceptions where the price was fair. May be I would have spent more for atomiers except for stockpiling. If I like something it gets stockpiled, a few at least. If it's going to cost more than I'm willing then it's no go. I hope the most successful designers of atomizers today got there with efficient production so the price is where most people want authentic or not. There are some of those on the market. I had a business where I was the sole supplier in the world, for a while, for a consumer product. I did NOT do price gouging. I was always looking for pricing that gave the end user good value for his money, standard markups for retailers and then make life miserable for copycats with quality and pricing that gave them little room to compete, meaning they had to offer less and charge more. At that time the Chinese were not as capable of rapid response to market trends like they are today, lucky for me.

An FT order placed around 4/20, "to air transport" on 5/14, arrived today (arrival at NYC airport was on 7/10). I'm thinking the air transport must have been by balloon [emoji3]

(FT is my general go-to overseas vendor, this one order simply took humorously long getting here.)

I must've gotten lucky. I ordered some things from Fasttech the second to last week in June and a fair amount is scheduled to arrive this week. They split my shipments for things that were lagging, which by all indications are still in China.

I anticipated seeing most of this stuff in September.

Maybe that is a sign that things are getting back to normal in regards to overseas shipping.

It's kind of interesting, I've tried the USPS Expedited Service to the USA as a shipping option for the first time on some of these orders, versus the United States Express ePacket as a shipping option. I've always done the free shipping in the past, but then I wait 1-2 months for the order to arrive.

For this last round of orders, I've had a package using each method arrive to US within 3 weeks of placing order, but I have some using each method that are still there in China. I haven't waited nearly as long as some folks, but it will be interesting to see if that USPS Expedited Service makes a difference.

I've had to sort of stock up on things I don't even know if I like because I'm not sure what September is going to look like in the US due to FDA and also shipping regulations. And I assumed I wouldn't get anything soon enough from Fasttech.

I am done with ordering from China. That is a personal choice as I am just not willing to risk things being seized at customs once the drop dead date hits and not being certain they will arrive before that date if ordered now. I will order stateside or not at all from now on.

Reality is if I never order another thing, barring disaster I am set up fine with what I have.

China is WAY backlogged with merchandise waiting for limited room on too few planes.
I had to call in a favor to get a device I wanted onto a DHL shipment. That arrived in 3 days.
Other things sit until there is room on a flight.
My in-laws have tried to send some things since late April and each time they ask the local post office are told 'No'. The post office has too much sitting in the back room to accept anymore.

Once planes are allowed to fly again and crew can go from country to country, speed will pick up. Meantime, it's a crapshoot.

I have 2 large orders from FT coming because it's lots of little things like grub screws, glass replacements, cotton, wire, drip tips, tools, etc. that I couldn't get anywhere else all in one place and for that low shipping (I did bump the shipping up so am crossing my fingers it helps).

I am sure I will still occasionally run across some gadget and wonder if I couldn't get that a lot cheaper at FT. Like those stands that were showing up in YouTube ads that hold a phone or tablet while letting it charge. I did too - 9 bucks instead of 30 and they're great. :thumb:

Myrany, I think it's going to depend on who you order from. My last FastTech order took 93 days, so they are definitely out. However, I just placed an order from Everzon on the 5th and it was in LA on the 12th and cleared customs yesterday. So I should have it in a few days. I also had an order recently from 3aVape that just took 2 weeks. Others have noticed the same thing - the big problems seem to be with FT, not the others.
