Well, I learned in science class from Mrs. Frizzle to take chances and make mistakes so I guess I'll go with the easiest option.

I wasn't gonna say anything cuz it's kinda embarrassing, but it's fitting for the current topic at hand and could be educational.

About 3 weeks ago I was going through a backpack and found a 30ml bottle of juice I filled for a trip I was taking about a 2 years ago. The soft, semi-transparent LDPE bottles, not the clear, hard PET bottles.

It looked just fine and I had vaped old juice before so I tried it without even smelling it . So I filled my RTA with it.

I thought it was fine but that's because my wick was still saturated with new juice. But in about 10-20 puffs from that RTA, I started tasting this funny kind of nasty flowery taste and I started feeling nauseated. Then I actually decided to smell the juice and sure enough it had that same smell I was tasting.

So I threw the bottle out and had to clean and rebuild that RTA.

I believe it was obvious that leeching had occurred. Was is the nic that caused it or would this have happened even if it was 0 nic juice? I don't know the answer to that.

But I do know the answer to whether or not I'm a complete :censored: nugget.

Take from this story what you want. Just one persons experience.

Edited to add: That bottle of juice was never refrigerated or frozen. It just sat in that backpack for somewhere around 2 years, maybe a few months longer or shorter. But one thing's for sure, it never saw any light during that time.

Well I keep telling Dad every time it's Christmas, his Birthday or Father's Day that this may be the last time I get him vape gifts but I keep being wrong. Been like this for years.

Anyways I'm on the hunt for the best price on Kanger OCC 0.5 ohm coils, the square ones. Found them on Lightfire for about $7.50 a box but I didn't know if anyone knew of a cheaper price. Thanks!
Lightfire is consistently the best price for kanger ssocc and occ coils usually - even better than Fasttech. Vaporrange ran a clearance sale once that was better (that of course JCinFL found), but I think you're pretty safe rolling with Lightfire.

Hard to say. Some flavorings will get icky on their own after a few years, and some flavorings slowly react with nicotine and get eventually icky, while other flavorings seem to stay decent "forever" even when mixed with nic.

Good point. I suppose the obvious changes in nic based liquid versus the seemingly unchanged state of PG/VG over time. Not all that scientific.
Yes, but it does that in glass as well, so I don't think that's due to an interaction with or leeching from plastic.

Probably right. It was HeartlandVapes peppermint ejuice that I've been vaping for many years now. I know for a fact it's good after a year stored at room temp in HDPE. But apparently around the 2 year mark it's toxic (literally), at least when stored in HDPE in a back pack

Lesson learned.

It looked exactly as it does when fresh but steeped. BTW

Heartlandvapes has $5 off gallons and liters of house brand nic base. No coupon needed. Discount applied at checkout. Not clear on end of sale, but I think it's good til Nov 4.
I just ordered 2 days ago! Always my luck but I did use the vapemag coupon code.

No good vape buys today, but I did order another 40 N95, same company I bought from in March (reasonable prices IMO). With cases spiking up, need to continue being careful.
It's good to be prepared.

I bought a pair of pants today. They probably don't do much against Corona, but they are some good looking pants.

Well we had to get tested for COVID Fri so we are quarantined until results come in and we know if it will be extended. Hubby is sick and given he is a teacher testing is mandatory. SO yeah here we go again. SO far for him his symptoms are just a bad cold. Crossing fingers that is all it is.

All orders are finally in so unless there is a miracle deal I think the stocking is finally done.
