For fans of the original istick Pico 75W mods:

sourcemore has the Full Black one, with charging cable and manual for $25.00 with FREE S/H...for the next 24 hours. It shows they have 38 In Stock at their Hong Kong location. They also have some good deals on other stuff w/FREE S/H, too.

Eleaf iStick Pico Battery 75W Powered by Single 18650 Battery Supported VW/Bypass/TC/TCR Modes and Upgradeable Firmware Function-Full black

They also have the full kits with the Melo III Mini tank for $28.40 with FREE S/H. Colors for that price are: Black, Silver, Full Black, and White. The Brushed Silver and Dazzling are slightly more at $29.90 per kit with FREE S/H.

Eleaf iStick Pico Kit 75W with 2ml Melo III Mini Atomizer Powered by Single 18650 Battery

Their shipping seems to be taking a really reasonable period of time now, too. I placed an order Oct. 10th for 8 items on Pre-Order and other things that were In Stock...and I got the whole order before the end of October.

That's an interesting contraption. Is that mostly for your battery longevity experiments?
Yes. I wanted something that would measure capacity in an accurate and repeatable way.

On one hand, it would be useful to have; on the other hand, that's the cost of a lot of replacement 18650 batteries.

It seems like it would come in handy if you were planning to store a lot of batteries long term. Not so much if you just use what you have on a daily basis.
I don't disagree.

Till which it becomes such a disruptive form of technology since...(you know why you burn white sage around the perimeter of a room if you ever saw "The Shadow" man" mind you look at my avatar, we chill) that it calls into question different things that FDA has to look into to regulate till the point that people that think they have zero vices in life accept the attachment to the emotion of feeling SMUG all the time "Ah yes clean fresh air with my brand new EV based vehicles, that made with cheap labor from a forgein land in a factory that safety nets have to placed around the windows..."

Such a Grimm quote..

By the way..the last time I was in the mood to post IN SUCH a very VERY aggressive tone..I almost banned...and...that was 4 years ago...And now I actually work for the "Department of Death"....DoD...anyways..(nervous looking left and right)..just think about it occured...after I saw her behind the counter at the vape shop...and it triggered distant memories with flashes of"Ayn Rand"...techno music with a poem about titled the Second coming...vibes straight outta a VR bioshock moment...books about "HERMETICLY sealed motors"...

Agnostic front plays in the background "WHY AM I GOING INSANE, WHY AM I THE ONE TO BLAME"

AND A MAN IN A GREAT HALL LIFTING UP HIS VOICE "LIFT UP YOUR VOICES SEND A MESSAGE TO THE WORLD...and it cuts out".

For me so far the body aches are the worst. When I first wake up I deal with a raw stomach from drainage but a few crackers takes care of that. Nose isn't even running all that much. Just hellish body pain. I also get stop me in my tracks tired very suddenly.

The hubby has more of the nose/coughing thing going on even so it isn't all that bad. We have both certainly had sinus infections worse than this has been so far.

...

Hoping You and your Husband are Feeling Better.

If I were inclined to stockpile batteries, I'd do it as follows:
  • Charge 'em to 3.6V using a charger set to LiFePo (e.g. XTRA VP2).
  • Store them in my fridge.
  • Pull them out once per year, allow them 24h to come to room temp.
  • Charge to 4.2V @ 0.5A. Discharge to 2.8V @ 0.2C and make a note of their capacity.
  • Re-charge to 3.6V and put them back in the fridge for another year.
My gut tells me they'll still be good (above 90% capacity) for at least 8-10 years that way, but I won't know for sure for another 7-9 years. :D
What would you consider to be long-term storage like I have probably 5 sets of 18 650s and I'm still using the first one that I bought so I'm using two of those sets one of them with dual battery and the other two as single batteries that aren't married obviously. I bought them all about a year ago it's almost a year. Do you think that I should be doing something differently than just keeping them in my cabinet if I'm going to use them within the next year or two? I literally just put them in my cabinet without ever doing anything with them other than labeling them with the date that I bought them

First and foremost, I would check their voltage every 6 months to a year. If substantially below 3.6V, I would bring them back to 3.6V. I think they'll be OK for a few years. I have some VTC5s that were made in January of 2014 that have been used lightly off and for six years now. I've done nothing special with them and they're still around 90% of rated capacity.

That said, heat is the enemy and I'm pretty confident that refrigerator temps slow aging while batteries are in storage.

After Doomsday came and went without much affair I was wondering whether or not this whole stockpile thing was really worth it. Then Colorado Voters made sure it was. This is what we got hit with.

"Prior to Proposition EE, in Colorado, nicotine products such as e-cigarettes were not taxed. The ballot measure creates a tax on nicotine products that would match the tobacco products tax rates. The rate will begin at 30% of the MLP in 2021 and increased gradually to 62% of MLP by July 2027."

Still unsure exactly how those numbers work but MLP is manufacturer's list price. Yep I'm glad I stocked up!

@Haktuspit I've noticed many domestic retailers either shutting down completely or scaling back products to PMTA compliant only. I've heard rumors that certain chinese sites aren't accepting PayPal anymore. It's only a matter of time before customs starts seizing shipments, so no, I don't see stockpiling as a waste, even if taxes are the only think to be avoided.

It's not the Chinese vendors who are deciding not to accept PayPal any more. PayPal itself has prohibited them from accepting payments via PP for vaping items. So far, there have only been a few websites that people have noticed being affected already. More are likely to be in the same position though, when PP enforces it with them, too.

Since Heaven Gifts sells only vaping related things...they had to totally remove PayPal as a payment option. FastTech, on the other hand...sells thousands of items that aren't vaping related at all. So they can still accept payments via PP for those items. They now show info on each vaping related item page...indicating that payment for that item cannot be made through PP. Customers can still buy Gift Certificates on FT using PayPal though. Then... use those GC to buy whatever they want on FT...vaping related or not. They offer quite a few options as to the $$ value of the GC. Any remaining balance after you place an order is just carried over and is still available for you to use later. I've placed 2 orders already that way with no problems.

The downside is, PayPal buyer protection isn't conferred to the purchase made with the gift cards. I'd rather them go through a different credit card processor for that reason, although I personally have no issue with using bitcoin with Fasttech.

After vaping essentially for free for the last several years, I have had no second thoughts at all. :)

    The 'Burgh, PA.
Tell that to the families of over 200,000 dead Americans.

The CDC is showing COVID-19 Infection Fatality Rate:

    Age 0-19...0.00003%
    Age 20-49...0.0002%
    Age 50-69...0.005%
Age 70+...0.054% ...(which is 27 out of 50,000...for us old folks)...

The CDC quotes the numbers you listed as ratios, not percentages. A 0.054 ratio is actually 5.4%...
