You must've already had a bunch of mods, RDAs, RTAs, and RDTAs already then...right? Either that, or you possibly don't plan to vape for the longterm and/or you aren't located in the US. Or...you just posted that for S&G! :D

In other words, hardware breaks down. You need backups for your backups. You still got a couple of months to stock, but inventory will get scarce.

Haha, no I've been vaping for 9 or 10 years now. I know what I like and need, and how long it will last me. And yea, I have a lot of equips already. Just grabbing some updated equips before its too late. I have like version 1 of everything and were on like version 5 now. Uwell Crown V ftw! Also, I have been wanting to Try CBD eliquids for some time now. I hear vapers are replacing there daily NIC driver with CBD

    Somewhere between here and there
After finding out my wife prefers black Minifits I ordered a couple more from Everzon, plus something I've been lacking - a shortfill cap opener! Those bottles will be much easier to work with in the future, with far less swearing.:D

Hoping to see this order in a month or so.

I wouldn't think it would take that long. I usually get stuff from them in two weeks or less if it's in stock.

    In other words....

Huh? :?: IMO, no other words or explanation of my post was needed. I wrote what I intended to say. After seeing his/her other posts...I knew he/she was a very experienced vaper and likely already had more gear, or wasn't in the US...or was just being funny. :)

I have too, in the past, but with the Chinese New Year, I'm lowering my expectations. Maybe I'll get surprised!

Next weekend I'll make a list of what I have, take photos, measure it all out and estimate a priority mail shipping box size, and if you want it, you can have it all for free, and just pay for the shipping postage through my Paypal account.
That's so kind of you! Thank you!

I'd love to take a look. And if you change your mind it's ok, no hard feelings or anything.

Thanks for the kind words re: my reply post, too.

    Reply to hittman and JCinFLA,

Thank you guys, for your concern. I love this forum, the discussions, the support, the friends. Sometimes I could just spend days on Ecigarette Forum because this is my social media. I never did Farcebook or Insta or Twit. Do they even have vaping discussions? Anyway, as I write, this "stocking up" thread has gotten to 2544 pages, and still going. I think that's very telling.

A few things. First, I don't have that much DIY stuff, just a carto puncher (don't know what it's for, but it pokes holes in metal, so I'm keeping it), and what I'm giving away, two different Coil Master kits with different tools in each one, a little bit of cotton, 3 ft. of silica wick, an unopened 30 ft. roll of Kanthal, one ceramic vape tweezers, and one teeny tiny Phillips head screwdriver.

I should never have mouthed off about my self disappointment over abandoning rebuilding. I mentioned it because I saw pages and pages of pretty shiny rebuilding supplies on the Unitrade site linked by DavidOck, but...

Next thing: I am at a point where old age is closing in, funds are limited because of the Cootie19 lockdown economy, and I have to decide whether I'm living in abundance or living in scarcity. In 2012 I started with the Ego-T battery and those plastic Stardust clearomizers, a tobacco flavored eliquid from a local seller, expanding to some cheap flavors from ECBlend, dual use, smoking and vaping, until I totally gave up cigarettes on the Saturday after Thanksgiving 2012. Then onward to maybe 150 juice flavors, back in the day when you'd get a few free samples with every order, until I discovered clove. Mmmm, just like clove cigarettes, once an expensive indulgence for nightclubs and concerts, now my ADV forever. I am happy with my vape every day, well supplied in case of the nanny apocalypse, so the decision is, I am living in abundance, with no need to fear scarcity.

Next thing: Onward from the Ego-t to the variable voltage Ego, and finally to the wonderfully satisfying and reliable eLeaf. The ones I'm using in rotation have lasted for years, and have traveled well. Onward from the plastic stardust to the T-3, which was nice but had problems, then the Aspire ET-S pyrex BVC, also wonderfully satisfying, reliable, and a good traveler. Some people chase huge clouds and knockout flavor punches. I just want a reliable, satisfying vape that keeps me off cigarettes. Clove is strong anyway. I dilute it with unflavored, so every day I am thankful for an abundant, cheap, satisfying vape.

Next thing: So when would I be under pressure to re-build? Under a nanny apocalypse, I'm stocked up, and continue to stock up now and then. In preparing this list for MLEJ, I brought down boxes from storage, and counted what I have: 22 boxes of 50 coils (1100 coils altogether, and I use about half a box per year because these coils last), a shoebox half full of glassomizers, 18 plastic bolt mods (!!!), three Smok bolt mods in brushed metal, my one beautiful Kato Hammer, unopened backup eLeafs in the fridge, 18650 batts in the freezer, separated from each other in their special plastic storage boxes, "magic ingredient" in bottles at the back of the fridge, with skull charms hung around the amber glass bottle necks. Everything I've hoarded works with everything else, the glassomizers with the eLeafs or the mods, the coils with the glassomizers, and all of it with the eliquid I'm prepared to make myself, if it comes right down to it. I have the lab glass metric measuring kit.

So I would need to rebuild, when? If I traveled to India or Thailand, where vaping is illegal (so, so sad, the article about India, linked by UJ above), I could travel with a tool kit and supplies, but no juice. Sadly, I won't travel to India or Thailand unless vape policy there changes, truly sadly, because I love to travel, and these are great lands of storied history, brilliant color, interesting food and nice people. Camping? Well you can't camp for long when you're bound to anything electronic. You can go camping for as long as your battery, whether electronic device or 18650, and your back-up, lasts, or take a solar powered recharger, but then why can't you just take a pack of coils in your waterproof backpack? If your backpack came loose in a madly rushing river, and went down the falls, you'd lose whatever was in it, whether your coils or your rebuilding supplies, right?

If I'm spending, I'd rather find more pretty mechanical mods, purely mechanical, no chip or board to burn out and leave you with a useless device in a vapocalypse, but I only want them with a side firing button and flat bottom so they stand up on their own, single battery required. Many beautiful mods have a bottom firing button, which I find non-ergonomic, and the brass and copper ones irritate my skin. I can't be the only one with those preferences and reactions. The plastic bolt mods, with one 18650, are said to be equivalent in power to the original Ego-t, but I used one for several weeks before deciding to buy more, and I found them comparable, in vape quality, with the 11 watts I vape on the eLeaf with a 1.6 ohms coil. Also if I'm spending, I need to hoard more fuses, which I have already started, thanks, as usual, to lots of good, honest help in this forum.

Sigh. I always write too much, a big mouth translated to keyboard. Anyway I already promised this stuff to MLEJ, who is already actually conquering the art and science of rebuilding. No regrets. It's a matter of the right things going where they will be used. I jumped up my schedule, and am about to photograph everything, measure it, assess packaging, and get back to MLEJ, who is interested.

    Thank you !!!!!

Rebuilding isn't for everyone. Some people just don't want to do it. I understand that. But you do have to have money for the factory coils.

If you have enough factories coils that you are confident they will last you for the rest of your vaping "career", then there is no reason for rebuildables. Although having a few wouldn't hurt just in case. However, if you just cannot or will not rebuild them for whatever reason, they are useless.

"magic ingredient" in bottles at the back of the fridge

Long term nic storage should be in the freezer (in glass bottles).

It depends, you almost have to want to start with it, it's more important than the price difference from stock vs rebuildable.

I'm a beginner myself, when I first bought my first rebuildable I was hooked right away, it's become a bit of a hobby for me.

Personally, I'm not willing to store such a dangerous substance. I like vaping, but I draw lines.
There is quite a lot of farm land outside of the area where I live. Very often, when you see that case of a woman dying from breast cancer, her husband dying from prostate cancer, the relatives cleaning out the estate will find an old barrel of DDT in the barn. People store rat poison, Drano, guns, and all sorts of hazardous materials. Kids play on floors after a pest exterminator has come and gone. A kid will eat a tomato off the vine that has been sprayed. I can understand being ultra careful where you have kids and pets, and in many ways we're not careful enough. I live alone, and I consider my vape supplies to be medical. My young nephew is now old enough to have been instructed what not to touch when he visits, not that I can keep him from snooping in my bedroom and bringing out a sex DVD my former fiance gave me, asking if we can watch it. I'm just saying that, as a society, we are giving up critical thinking. We leave it to government to keep us safe, here in the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Okay MLEJ. If you want to PM me, I'll send you a list and pics of what I have. The photos will have to be your guide. Most of the stuff is from My Vapor Store, bought in 2016, but when I click on the order, then the item, the description now is different than what I have. Nevertheless, I know it's good, useful stuff.

I'll be glad to get back a little storage space, and after this, I'm done with prepping. With the vape mail ban coming, I ordered more coils, and that's it. And I'm starting to eat my storage food, drink my storage water, and stop prepping altogether. If I die, I won't be sad because I'll be dead.

Our Texas legislature has just passed new laws giving the governor more emergency powers, which will go into effect in September of this year. Kind of tells you, lockdowns and cootie hoaxes are not over any time soon. I downloaded a World Bank document projecting lockdowns until March of 2025.

More philosophy than you wanted, I'm sure. Anyway, the stuff is ready to be mailed.

Eightvape just sent the following email blast...

    96879aa6-8af3-44b8-ad8c-649fc7309995.png

Recent congressional amendments to the PACT Act, signed into law as part of an omnibus spending bill, have broadened the definition of tobacco products to include vapes and vaping supplies. E-liquids, mods, kits, disposables, pod systems, and all other vaping items are now defined as tobacco products, and as such, they will be regulated more harshly.

In fact, Congress has prohibited USPS from shipping vape products, and FedEx and UPS intend to stop shipping vape products as well. We work with these carriers exclusively to fulfill orders, so we’re forced to adapt swiftly and change service handlers.

For your information, the carriers will stop shipping vape products on these dates:

    • FedEx, March 1
    • UPS, April 5
    • United States Postal Service (USPS), April 26

We’re working to engage a network of alternative carriers to fulfill our orders (and we’re optimistic about our success), but as a precaution we’re advising customers to stock up on vape supplies before the dates above, just to ensure you have what you need.

Our goal is to continue providing fast, affordable delivery, but we know that customers in remote areas may have greater difficulty receiving vape mail in the future.

We’ll keep you updated by making new information visible once we have it. Thanks to all our loyal customers during this time!

    Sincerely,

    Your Eightvape Fam

I keep getting some version of that same email from the vape sellers I use. It's cancel culture. Vaping is cancelled, vapers cancelled, vape sellers cancelled. Don't say anything about it. Shut up and go back to smoking. Vicious monkeys are in elected offices, unconscious robots manning the services. Trump sez "the postal service is a joke". Postal service sez "yes we are a joke, and we're gonna prove it by dumping tons of vape business so all our vaping customers can go back to smoking". FedEx and UPS say "don't forget us, we're a joke too!"

Ban everything! Before its too late!

I was feeling nostalgic tonight and broke out a Provari and Protank. Sitting here and chilling. Even after all these years it is still a wonderful vape.
My wife is happily vaping a Vivi Nova on a ProVari right now. That combo and Minifits for when she's out and about are all she cares about in the stockpile.
