I have been around long enough to have stocked up more than once. Since I live in a state that only seems to want local shops to sell anything (they don't stock anything I use) I have found ways to keep well stocked in hardware and DIY supplies.
Got another gallon of nic salt base to freeze, wire, RTAs and devices to make it another 15-20 years. I noticed in the last couple of weeks FT has gone from taking PP to only taking their GCs (the wire I use is hard to find).

Trust government to produce the opposite effect to what they supposedly want.

Gun control politicians have produced numerous buying binges by gun owners, fearing they will no longer be able to get guns and/or ammo.

And how much business and new interest is now being generated by vapers because of the current threat of no longer availability and shipping restrictions?

OK, so maybe I spent a few hundred dollars so far that I would not have spent - But when you add this up nationwide how may thousands {or millions?} has the gov generated by causing the current buying frenzy?

I was happy with one commercial natural pod and one flavored pod {now outlawed} - So up jumps the gov devil and now I've purchased, like I say, at least a few hundred dollars that I would not have if they left vaping alone!

Meantime the PMTA is still not causing the 'vapopaclyspe ' predicted - And at least one large company appears to be developing a workaround for the shipping restrictions.

If you want to buy from FT and the PP option doesn't show at checkout (it's sporadic),
  • Gather up a list of SKU #s and the quantities you want
  • Send them in a support ticket at this link. Also tell them exactly which shipping option you want and know the cost of it ahead of time (and state that cost in your ticket)
  • They will manually create the order in your account and send you a link to pay via paypal.
If this happens to a sitewide coupon sale, make sure you tell them to apply the coupon to the order. They'll do it even if they get they don't get to creating your order until after the sale is over, just so long as your ticket is submitted during the time the coupon is active.

So here is where I am:

I have maybe 20 bottles of various flavors I like with anywhere from 30 - 120ml per botlle - Figure I'm good for 1.5 to 2 years and will probably buy some more before the postal ban.

Also have about 7 pen style refillable pod devices that have integrated batteries {non replaceable} and one
pod/mod device with a replaceable battery.

Now I'll ask again - What is the easiest way to store it all. Will the pre-mixed liquids last longer in the refrigerator or freezer without changing flavor from the cold???

And will the integrated battery pen devices keep longer in a refrigerator or freezer.????

And no one has yet to give me an answer on this -
What is the 'usual' shelf life of an integrated battery type device left sealed in the box???

THANKS!!!

Don't put Flavored e-Liquids in the Freezer. If they are anything like the 3 Flavors I tried as a test, they will be kinda Wacked when you pull them out.

BTW - JMO. But if you Don't have at least 1L of 100mg Nicotine Base, you Aren't Stocked Up.

Only thing I don't have is 21700 mechs, but whatever. I ain't gonna worry about it anymore.
I don't have a dedicated 21700 mech but what I do have is 20700 mech squonker that will be easy to modify to take a 21700. Just a matter of shaving out a bit of plastic.

To others...

No the Vapocalypse has not happened yet. Just keep in mind that we have yet to see if alternate shipping methods come to be or not; We have yet to see a full out enforcement of the PMTA process (though I believe this is coming and soon); We have yet to see if anything can get past the PMTA process to be legally sold. All of these taken together are a great many question marks. It is up to every individual to decide if they want to stock up and be ready or take their chances. I have advantages in that I have seen this all develop over years and made my choice. I will not be forced back to cigarettes and given my inability to stay off them without vaping I have done the best I can to make sure that I will not go back.

You can buy a gift certificate from FT at OrderGiftCertificates via PP and then use it to pay for your order.

Welcome back !:)

I was done but ordered from Jungle Flavors to make a Cannoli Be One recipe.
Added stuff to get free shipping at ~$47.
JungleFlavors Order.jpg

and while I'm waiting for cross country pony express...
I ordered flavors from BullCityFlavors to make 4+ more recipes inc Water Malone
(I know I had overlap. Decided I want more of some from that first order)
I'll make another order to fill in gaps in other recipes by the end of March.

Bull City Flavors had FedEx pickup my package within 3 hours of paying for it. BCF rocks.

Technically I've been done stocking up for over a year but I'm still trying new stuff while I can :thumb:

Those flavors look so good and looking makes me want to vape each and every one of them. I will say this, I've always stuck with fruit flavors and added my own menthol drops to them. I tried cheesecakes, pies, cake, etc......the thing I noticed with those types of flavors was that after a couple of days, the only way I can describe the taste was what a "wet dog" smells like, only it TASTED like that. I would literally gag. It was great at first, but it would always end up that way. The fruit flavors don't do this. I'm not sure what's up with that but that's why I've never vaped those. I wish I could remember the brands that those were.

I really really hope the vape worlds comes up with some workaround. I can't get over how RIDICULOUS this is.

I have done this since the PP option for Vape Products went away. I ordered my final backups to backups to backups to backups to ....... (well you get the idea) this way

Now with a shelf full of mods (Mech and Non-Mech mix), a second one filled with RDAs and RTAs, more spare parts then I will ever need, and a freezer full of nic, I am prepared for the rest of my life and will only be spending 3.62 USD a month (I did the math) for wire, wick, PG/VG, and flavors. All of which I have sourced from non-vape related retailers.

I have to say thank you to those that encourage me on this site (both directly and posting to all) to stock up early as now I know I will have what I need to stay off cigs

This post is for any newbie stockers who may be reading this thread.

If I wrong here, please correct me.

Regarding Mesh RTAs: I've been looking around and have come to the conclusion that you can't buy the mesh needed for mesh RTAs from places like Temco or any other non-vape retailer. These mesh strips/rolls seem to only be sold by vape retailers and it's packaged in vape-specific packaging, which makes it's a "tobacco product" in the eyes of the US govt (and probably any other vape-averse govt for that matter).

This means that mesh RTAs are no different than factory coil tanks (aka clearomizers) because in order to keep them running you have to stash a supply of mesh for as long as you plan on keeping the tank in operation. The only difference being that it's probably a lot cheaper to stock years/decades worth of mesh than it is to stock years/decades worth of coil heads.

Regular RTAs aren't big deal since they can't ban the shipment or sale of wire (Kanthal, Nichrome, SS, etc), at least not legally.

So if you're stocking up on mesh RTAs, don't forget to stock that mesh! But if money's tight, regular old wire coil RTAs will be your best bet.

Again, if I wrong, someone please correct me.

For anyone that is concerned about the availability of flavors - I emailed BCF and they said they are good to go. FedEx lawyers already confirmed that BCF will not be affected by the shipping ban.

I'm not a big mesh user but you made a good point. For those that have the Zeus mesh tank, the regular Zeus X rta base is interchangeable. I already had a couple of the ones with the standard base and just bought the mesh bases so I could use either.

Yeah, there are some mesh RTAs that can take both wire and mesh, I believe. But not all (as far as I know).

This is such an amazing sale that I decided to post it here too:

AsMODus sitewide 70% off sale 3/1-3/7. Minimum order is $50 (in your cart before taking the 70% off, not after). They've sold out of a bunch of stuff, but still good stuff available for really good prices! There is a $10 S/H charge because of Adult Signature Required, but...even with that charge, it's still an amazing Sale.

My total (a few things for me, but most for others) would've been $369.84 including the $10 S/H, but was only...$117.96 Total! IMO, a terrific deal for 5 Colossal 80W Mod Kits w/Wotofo Flow tanks + 1 Colossal 80W mod + 10 Boxes of Coils...to my door! It's being shipped today, too!

By the way...those Wotofo Flow tanks also accept any of the coils in the same compatibility category as the Smok TFV8 Baby Beast and others! You don't have to buy/use only the Wotofo Flow coils in the tank.

ETA: I didn't post the coupon code above, because I thought people would likely go to their home page and see the big banner of info there. But...I should've posted it anyway. Sorry! It's just: 70off

I mix mostly bakery type flavors. The key is, it needs to steep. If it’s great the first day, you used too much flavor, and it’s going to go sideways as it blooms. A well mixed cheesecake is going to... well don’t even sniff it for at least 3 days. Test it at 5 days. Best between 1-3 weeks. Don’t make more than you can use in that time. Vanillas last forever though. Cereals are good for being shake and vape but still holding up almost eternally.

You should still be able to purchase SS mesh sheets (100-400 mesh similar to what we used for genesis toppers) and just cut to size. Think back,,,back further... First it was the tightly wrapped roll followed by a blast from the BIC lighter to blacken to prevent shorts from the coil wrap. And then the stroking, remember the stroking. There you go, you remembered.
Sorry UncleJunkle, it's late and I'm giving you a hard time.
