If I had that mod, I'd be opening it up to see if I can source a similar battery for it. Too unique to just throw out.

Oh I Won't Throw it Out. No Way.

Loved that Mod. True Stealth wrapped up in a Solid Metal Body. It will get Moved to the RDP (Rainy Day Projects) Box.

And Who Knows? It might become an Organ Donor for my other Stealth 40w.

One of my all time favorite online vendors, Vape Dudes, will be selling kits of flavorings and Pg/Vg. Or just flavorings. For someone who diy's, this is great that I can make one of my favorite juices, Buttery Nipple, at home and no hit or miss when it comes to flavor.

However, you're on your own when it comes to nic.

Ahlusion is also selling their flavorings, albeit the selection is still limited.

My iStick 30w's are like that. I pull them off the shelf once in awhile and give them 5 Clicks. The 510 Threads are kinda Wobbly. But they still work.

My iStick 40w's are going strong Also. I actually use them occasionally as an On-the-Go Mod. Always Like the iStick 40w.

Had to retire my 30 when the 510 got so loose you could pull the tank out without touching the threads. My 40 is still working after 5 years. Doesn't hold a charge too long but I can't bring myself to toss it while it still works. I read once that up to the 30 they had aluminium 510's but they changed to SS with the 40.

I use a gizmo/adapter (don't ask me what it's called) that just sits there screwed onto my iStick permanently. The tank is being screwed into the gizmo. Mine is almost 7 years old and still kicking. Not very hard, but kicking nonetheless.

Crazy that you guys got stripped threads on the isick 30W. Those were SS threads. I have stripped 20W isticks because those are brass. But never a 30W.

I just Checked what I have.

The Ones with the Wobbly Threads are indeed 20w's. Not 30w.

BTW - All Three of my iStick 20w's were Dead from sitting on a Shelf for years.

But All Three of them Turn On as soon as I plugged in a Life Giving USB Charging Cable.

LOL

So you're telling me I've been using my adapter for nothing? Lemme look.

It is All slowly coming Back to Me.

The iStick 30w was the one that has the Lip on it so that a 22mm Atty doesn't hang over the Side. I never had one of those. Just 20w's and 40w's. As well as a iStick Mini or two.

But eLeaf says that the 30w has SS Threads.

So they should Hold Up as well as Most Modern Mods.

I have a 20W with stripped threads but appears to charge with no issues. Can't say how well it holds the charge since I can't use it lol

I have a 30W that will not charge properly. I used to think it was the battery but I believe it could be the charging port. That's just a guess. When I opened it I didn't think to check the USB port, was just checking the battery to see if I could put an 18650 in there (I doubt it). May open it to see if the UBS charge port soldering is damaged. But I don't have that much motivation.

I used to have another 30W in rotation but I sold that one soon after opening it to a tow truck driver that towed my car

I have 2 more 30W isticks sealed, never opened.

To the best of my knowledge, the 30W never came with brass threads, always SS. Only reason why I bothered buying it, that and the spring loaded 510. My 20W had already stripped by the time the 30W was released. Wasn't happy with eleaf at that time.

Correct. It's the only thing, aesthetically speaking, that doesn't make them identical.

That's the one. I love the lip--no ugly overhang.

It's slowly coming back to me. My iStick 30 has no adapter and threads look like they are ss--just looked. I probably used the adapter for a while just in case--to baby those threads. It was a long time ago. Sorry for the confusion.

As you were.

I never wanted a 40W when they 1st came out because I didn't understand that you didn't have to use the TC function. Would have bought some on clearance in the past year or so if I found them, just to have them, but it appears everyone is selling these isticks for way more than they are worth today, IMHO. Must have a high demand. I believe eleaf still produces the istick 10W, 30W and 40W.

BTW - I Believe I have the Honor of being the 1st Person on the ECF to take an iStick 20w apart.

That's the iStick Innards. An 18650 wearing a Jetpack. LOL

Warning Will Robison: Since the Battery is Hard-Wired to the Board/Boards, parts or All of the Board is Energized. So be Very Careful Handling the IStick Innards. Poking it with a Dental Pick can Release the Magic Smoke.

Don't Ask Me How I Know This.

I thought I read that the 30 had an aluminium 510. It's quite possible that what I read was wrong, or I misremembered it.

It wasn't stripped threads I had exactly. It seemed like the 510 socket was becoming wider.
