BTW - All Three of my iStick 20w's were Dead from sitting on a Shelf for years.
But All Three of them Turn On as soon as I plugged in a Life Giving USB Charging Cable.
LOL
I have a 20W with stripped threads but appears to charge with no issues. Can't say how well it holds the charge since I can't use it lol
I have a 30W that will not charge properly. I used to think it was the battery but I believe it could be the charging port. That's just a guess. When I opened it I didn't think to check the USB port, was just checking the battery to see if I could put an 18650 in there (I doubt it). May open it to see if the UBS charge port soldering is damaged. But I don't have that much motivation.
I used to have another 30W in rotation but I sold that one soon after opening it to a tow truck driver that towed my car
I have 2 more 30W isticks sealed, never opened.
To the best of my knowledge, the 30W never came with brass threads, always SS. Only reason why I bothered buying it, that and the spring loaded 510. My 20W had already stripped by the time the 30W was released. Wasn't happy with eleaf at that time.
