Someone said it in some thread, they talked about it for a while, someone said it sounded like Reddit information and everyone moved on. The conversation stuck with me but my memory is the worst so I'm sorry I don't even know what thread. I'll stop talking about it, I honestly don't care that much anyways I'm sure I'm on far worse lists from some wild posts in my 20s.

Thank you for your reply. Let's hope it's just a rumor. :)

In the case of an out-of-state dealer who sells directly to a consumer in Ohio, the seller is the taxpayer. However, if a consumer receives vapor products on which the tax has not been paid, the consumer is liable for the tax.

Yeah, I remember when the State of California got really mad at Amazon for not charging sales taxes on out-of-state purchases. Amazon relented but we consumers were never harassed or asked to pay back taxes we owed the state.

Could you share with us the source of this rumor? You keep repeating it for some reason but I have no idea where this information comes from and whether it's true--or even plausible or legally tenable.

That said, maybe @low_tar_neil could help us? He might know. Are vaping vendors/stores required by law to provide 5 years of past transactions to the Feds? And if they are not, why would they volunteer doing it? That makes absolutely no sense to me.

No, it's only going forward from March 27th, you can remove people from your mailing list etc, but you just need to keep a record of the transactions in case the ATF or whoever want to see them. So practically it doesn't make any difference as you need to keep a record anyway for accounting.

I needed these Smok Prince TFV12 specific ones because of the top fill gasket. I've actually ripped it on both of my tanks in rotation. So fast tech it is. They were cheaper by far than anywhere US anyways.

Found 200 pre-wound coils in my cart so I guess those are coming as well. Why not.

I'll get on the list some other day. I'm sure to end up needing Juul pods for stealth vaping.
Oh boy. Just when I thought I was stocked up, I forgot the O Rings! I'll have to search FT for my Geekvape Aero Mesh sub ohm tanks. Hope I can fnd them.

The rumor was started by some retailers who, I believe, probably do not have proper or any legal counsel. I believe the 5 year figure was most likely taken (and twisted) from the ATF PACT Act Guide that states IF a shipment is not delivered because the carrier knows or suspects the recipient is in violation of the Jenkins Act, then the carrier must keep the details of that shipment on-file and readily available for 5 years.

    https://www.atf.gov/alcohol-tobacco...afficking-pact-act-information-guide/download

    Recordkeeping

The PACT Act requires that a common carrier or other delivery service:

    1. Maintain for 5 years any records kept in the ordinary course of business relating to any delivery interrupted because the carrier or service determines or has reason to believe that the person ordering the delivery is in violation of the Jenkins Act; and

    2. Provide that information, upon request, to ATF or to the attorney general or chief law enforcement official or tax administrator of any State, local, or tribal government.

That's the one I'm hoping to be able to get sometime.

I've been meaning to tell you, do you remember those 3ml Renovo Zero pods we couldn't figure out months ago?

I finally figured it out! Lol

Vaporesso created a Renovo Zero battery specifically for Halo, marketed under Halos name, that required a 3ml pod which Vaporesso made.

So I bought DH 2 batteries so he could use at least some of those 3ml pods..

Yea! (Dont know if you remember that or not.. it's been a while! )

Just got a notice in my email from Hoosier Ecig:

We will stop accepting new online orders at 11:59:59(EST) Friday April 17th 2021. Hopefully this will be a temporary closure while we attempt to find a new carrier to carry your orders to your doors. So, the rest of this week and next week will be your last chance to order online from us.

In NY, on the income tax form they plug in an automatic value for untaxed online purchases. Historically it's seemed "reasonable", not too high. People are free to itemize if they want.

Thank you - I have two of the other versions, but for some reason I only bought one of this version. I really like it and it is currently in my rotation, so I want a backup.
I believe the bottle is proprietary. It comes with two. Fasttech has spares with 7 day lead, sourcemore shows them in stock ($15 for 2, including shipping). I just ordered 2 via sourcemore.

I expect to stay with my 510 refill approach, avoid wear and tear on the bottle latch, whenever I put one into rotation.

I finally have a good use for the vandyvape v2 510 refill bottle. I find it a PITA as a 510 refill, but does work great as a dripping bottle, with the magnetic cap.

There's always the "What if...?", isn't there? Always a "could use..." or a "might need someday."
But then there's the cost. And, now, having your personal info in an ATFE database, though you did nothing illegal or involving alcohol, tobacco, firearms, or explosives (unless you're getting a mech mod without learning how to use it safely :)).
At some point, enough has got to be enough.

I'm personally in good shape gear wise .. I am beyond good shape nic wise .. so, if by some twist of fate, my gear runs out / I suppose I could put a drop of nic on Cheese-It crackers and snack on those to get my fix ..

    I do prefer original ::

    Wow, what a good idea!
Key for me is that I use 510 extenders on all my squonkers. They're a sacrificial part - tank connectors are generally a hard metal, and the extender threading slightly softer. Unscrewing an rdta or rda is harmless to the topper, and no wear on the mod connector.

Got a link to one? I use 510 heat sinks on all my mods, but those can't be used on squonkers if you want to actually squonk.

Did a FT search for "510 extender" and came up empty.

watching my package go from chicago to kentucky (yet again)
like seriously, you drove right past my house
how does that make any since?
I'm about the halfway point between chicago and kentucky.....so dude you know take a pitstop, fill up with gas and just hand off my package, I'm literally less than 3 minutes off of the highway (and most of that time is just due to the stoplight)
