I have one flavor (sort of) to keep track of: Ethyl Maltol in crystal form. I tried all kinds of flavors near the beginning of my vape life and didn't care for any of them, except for Whiskey, lol, and I forget the brand. I got hooked on ECOpure Rich by IntelliCig until they discontinued selling it in the US. That was a very sad day. I was hoping to at least somewhat recreate it with the EM, but I failed. So I mostly vape flavorless, once in a while mixing a batch with EM flavoring.

My gf vapes and she likes flavors, so we'll be delving into DIY soon enough.

I was all about the ECO pure back in the day. Still miss it a bit.

I find I usually vape one or two flavor mixes for a long time. I was apple pie for a year :) Now I brought out the wedding cake and boysenberry to give apple pie a break LOL

Hmm apple pie sounds delicious. Any chance it's a one flavor recipe? That's all I know.

Seven years ago I bought and experimented with many dozens of concentrated flavorings in my quest to mix/make the best hybrid NETs available. Fast-forward to today and I only keep 17 different flavorings on hand, enough to mix all my favorite recipes. I spent years learning how to develop the juice I enjoy in sufficient variety to keep me happy and content. I still buy any new vanilla and cherry flavorings to sample since those seem particularly difficult for the manufacturers to accurately replicate for my taste. All in all the "journey" is over, it was great fun but I've reached my destination and am now kicked back simply enjoying the fruits of my labor.

OneStopDIYShop, known just as OSDIY to most who DIY, has some wonderful "one shot" flavorings that you just add singly to your own VG, PG, and nic base. Their own proprietary ones are their One Stop Flavors and their One Stop Blends. Some of my favorites of those are: Lucky Shot, Latte Latte, Old Tyme Root Beer, Baked Cinnamon Roll, Licorce Torpedoes (which is spot on to Good n' Plenty candy), Southern Sweet Tea, and the Pink Lemonade. The owner, Kimberly, also told me years ago about the combo she makes with the Lucky Shot + Lotta Latte that was her ADV for more than 3 years. When I made and tried it...it became mine, too, for more than 2 years! The combo of those 2 makes a wonderful Caramel Latte eliquid.

WonderFlavours makes some good single flavorings that many of us use as one shots, too, though they don't sell them as One Shots. I like their Banana Candy (it's like banana Runts candy and/or a banana popsicle), their Hazelnuts and Cream (a subtle, smooth vape), and their Island Mango (it's a very true mango taste, like a real one).

If you like grape bubblegum....Gremberry Farms "Purple Gremlin" Solo (one shot) is definitely spot on to it.

There are more, but those came off the top of my head quickly.

167 right now with 18 more on the way. ELR says I can make 10763 now.
I practice efficiency so I can splurge later at whim.

I used a few popular recipes on ELR to start my stash.

I traded 2 gallons of VG to a friend that retired my favorite commercial juice of all time for his recipe & exclusive rights to it and bought a batch of those flavors to set aside for if I ever figure out how to safely "make it available" to more people.
It's a Peppermint Latte & the craftsmanship is genius.

I searched ELR for each of the flavors that I want for the 1-3 most used in the most used recipes.

I added less used flavorings from recipes by EnyawReklaw, Fresh03 & other high profile mixers.

I made an order from searching Highest Rated recipes on ATF for some recipes I'd like to try.

I watched Developed's "Top Flavors For Beginning Mixers" videos and added the few that I didn't already have.

I'm always taking notes when I watch DIY shows or reading/watching tutorials.

Hi My name's Mowgli & I'm addicted to collecting flavorings & useful recipes now apparently
    .
So you worked smarter and not harder. I must be missing some of the most popular flavors on elr. I know I have most but I’m going to take a look at the top flavors used in most recipes on elr and see what I’m missing. It’s probably some of the sweeteners and other base flavors. And I haven’t delved into ATF that much so when I have time I may look around there. I find mixing fun. Thanks for a great reply! I need to check out Developed’s video as well.

Oh I am one of those odd balls that still uses the drop method LOL It's how I learned to DIY and I never changed.

I use a syringe and a ~30ml bottle. Almost always single flavors.

Start at 1%, try in RDA and ether add another 1% and try again (repeat if needed) or call it good and fill Squank bottle when done. (I usually just write the flavor % on the side of the bottle)

I find that many of the FA fruit flavors work well at 1-3%.

I mix my primary adv a pint at a time. It has 6 flavors, though I'll experiment with a 7th. That one is mixed using a single 15ml plastic graduated beaker.

My secondary vape, the lemon cream, was also a 6 flavor, though I'm experimenting with 7. 8 oz batches, the graduated beaker plus a 5 ml syringe.

I have a healthy stash of some 0mg commercial, vanilla custard and lemon killer kustard, that I'll also drip sometimes, into one or the other squonkers. Nice to have around, but I won't lose any sleep when it's gone.

I have some of that killer custard too, it clogs my coils but using it in a dripper is a great idea!
