The only major stock up I did was in 2016, missed 2019, this time it was more to expand on what I already had and add to the drop in coil stash. I was only using rebuidables and needed more drop in coils since my ability to rebuild has become very limited, so I'm kinda going backwards in my vaping journey. Fortunately most of my tanks could take either rebulidable or drop ins. In going through what I had I found gear I had forgotten about so I did buy more storage to consolidate and organize things differently.
I hear a lot of grumbling that stocking up was/is a waste of time and money but honestly it's saved me a fortune over the years. Sticking with what I like and works for me instead of chasing the latest greatest, which I did a lot of back in the day, and DIYing my own eliquid for pennies per ml... no brainer in cost savings. This time stocking is different going forward we face bans of all sorts and crazy high vape taxes. I'm so glad I'm stocked and don't regret one thing I bought.

I Completely Agree.

There is also the Peace of Mind that even if the Whole World comes to a Screeching Halt, that I can just sit back and say... "Wow. That's Kinda Hosed Up". While taking a hit off my e-Cigarette while listening to some mind soothing Jazz.

Peace of mind is what it's all about for me. I've got enough of everything to last the rest of my life if need be. What I spent stocking up pales in comparison to just one year of buying cigarettes.

    Questions:

Why type of coil is this 1.2 ohm coil - regular round wire or a specialty coil like a clapton?

At what wattage are you vaping on this OXVA Origin X pod system when using the RDTA at 1.2 ohms?

How would you compare the flavor to your most flavorful RTA tank? Is the OXVA just as flavorful? More? Less?
Round kanthal at 1.2, rayon wick, 10 watts. Juice custard strawberry. Flavor on par with a Kayfun. Really good! I tried a Clapton SS .65 ohm coil and it took too long to heat up. But flavor was great. I'm going to put in a .6 SS ohm coil next. I have air flow at half a hole on RDTA and blocked air flow on mod to 1/2 hole. Perfect MTL :)

Yes peace of mind! I don't regret a thing, it could all stop tomorrow and I am all set, thank goodness!

I have tried to be organized with my vape stuff- all tanks in one drawer, all Squonk stuff in another, odds & ends in another. Mods in my bench box. Flavors in another cabinet, but I need more room for flavors and pods etc. so I think I need a storage area above a short cabinet I have. Would be good to put flavors up there. Still searching for the right set up.

^^^ Looks at bare door behind him, adds to cart, save for later. I'll think about this one, not even for vape I just have too much stuff.

Part of the reason I never really go into my cabinet is because it just about perfectly fits everything and it's all nicely organized. And if I do find room I'll want to fill it.

I asked my landlord about buying it off of him eventually and it turns out it's kind of an expensive piece. I forget how much, want to say like $4-500. Almost worth it though, I can't think of a better storage option.

I'll take some new photos tomorrow I think I've made some additions since I last posted.

There are nicer ones than the one I linked. It was a late at night brainstorm idea for flavoring bottles. LOL

I actually have a smaller but similar thing for spices on my pantry door.

Poking my head in. I have a corneal infection and temporarily lost vision in my right eye. I lost depth perception too. Scary. Anyways it's better now with antibiotics but I thank god I stocked up on prebuilt coils or I would be up .... creek without a paddle. No way I would have been able to build.

Hope you heal up good as new! Scary tho for sure. I agree drop in coils really save us when we can't build. I don't regret having my stock pile :)
