I know there are vapers out there who think nothing is going to happen and that lawsuits will allow vape to continue to be sold in the USA as it was before or almost as it was before. And they may be right to a degree.

But being stocked up for life, given that I don't mind not being able to justify buying any new stuff that comes out because I have a small room full of vape supplies, allows me freedom from the politics and legalities of vaping and the market and supply chain issues that all that brings along with it.

I also don't have to worry about not being able to find my favorite coil heads later on because I have a literal lifetime supply lol. And that alone is worth the expense of vape prepping to me, because it sucks when you like a tank and coil head and then you have to find something new because it's "obsolete" and impossible to find. That's can be an expensive endeavor fraught with a lot of frustration.

I'll admit, I do have a few boxes full of things I may never use, but it doesn't bother me much because I didn't pay much for those particular items. I only have that stuff because a couple years ago I was presented with a take-all liquidation deal full of other stuff that I wanted, so I snatched it up.

I'm tired of the whole thing, really. It's an endless :censored:show and an endless stream of new stuff to buy that's "friggin' awesome man!", like just about everything else in the USA. It's silly and tiresome to me.

I'm just a former smoker and I just want to be left alone to vape what I want and how I want, and I now have that freedom because I'm a vape prepper. :vapor: Anything that happens from this point forward doesn't really affect me, and THAT was my goal. Mission accomplished.
Well said and I agree completely. I was just thinking this as I deleted a ton of vape emails without even looking at them.

At this point, I guess let them do what they are going to do. I am tired of fighting. That is why I stocked up. Overstocked, actually. I will sell some of it, if anyone needs stuff a bit later. Otherwise, it will just be dumped when I die.

Yeah. i've only been fighting for 1 1/2 years & I'M tired of fighting.

Seems a shame to just dump it when there are people who could benefit from it. Relatively mediocre though it is, i'd like to see my stash sold to help cover the family's expenses or given away to people who could use it to get off or stay off tobacco. Hubby -- who's younger & healthier than i am (and not only because he hasn't smoked since he was 9) -- keeps avoiding a conversation about what to do w/ my vape stuff when i go. i get it but it's frustrating. Shouldn't post-mortem plans be part of vape prepping?

Figure my $4.99 ea never used Caravela clones should be worth about $500 ea by now. :w00t: :spam:
I don't know but I bet my original Caravela would be worth something. That was a thing of beauty but I couldn't hack the bottom firing so I sold it for exactly what I paid for it. After waiting over two months for it to arrive.

I agree . . . No one - family / friends - knows anything about vaping, NIC, or what is vaping equipment . . . My Friends who are the executives of my will refuse to learn either . . . So my solutions was to put everything I own in one place and label it with the name and address of a very good ECF Friend to have everything shipped to them . . . Just Sayin' . . .

I have an inventory of my gear I keep updated on my desktop with instructions on how to log onto my account here at ECF. I told my daughter to message the file to a list of folks here and give them first pick of anything they want or need - postage only. Whatever is left to be posted in the classifieds, same terms. I figure the folks here are my best bet at getting the items into the hands of those who will use them, or pass them on to those who need them.

Haha that's kind of life though, the reason I don't have vape money anymore is because I've been out chasing the latest and greatest sneakers. I like to solve problems by creating new ones.

The Trishul Mods came in from Evolution Vaping in England. They're good for a mid-priced mod. (about $55 US). The outstanding feature of these mods is an excellent magnetic constant contact switch that once pressed, makes a quick and decisive contact. The constant contact mechanism uses a silicone ring instead of a spring to create pressure against the battery. The button is recessed, so it is very stable when standing up and there is no fiddly locking mechanism. It comes with a plastic insulating sleeve that accommodates a 21700 battery, and an 18650 adapter. There is an insulator around the hybrid top connection. When opening the bottom, the threading is a little loose, but it tightens up fine. The tube feels rather light - at first I thought they were plated aluminum, but the manufacturer's spec says that the tube is solid brass or solid copper - the copper and brass finishes appear to be more of a "copper-tone" and "brass-tone" and lack the appearance of "depth" that you'd expect with solid polished metal. There are vent holes at the top end with grooves to the outside. The 18650 threading is a little loose too, and the top is not removable. The biggest negative to these mods is that the copper and brass version are hard to use with one hand. The tube does not have enough taper and it slips between my fingers when trying to press the button with my thumb. However, the black version has enough friction to use this way. When holding it between my thumb and fingers, the button is a little hard to press with my pinky finger. It includes a spare silicone ring and magnet. Overall, I'd say that they're worth the price and I don't have buyer's remorse.

@Fidola13 asked for photos, so here they are:

Still have mine, and it's my all day driver.
Not bad for a mod that was made in 2012

Oh that's funny I was actually thinking about using it for like a cat onesie for after surgery. I have some pretty big cats but it might be just a little too big for them not by much though. My largest cat is about 18 lb

Update with a few alterations it probably will in fact fit my cat lol

been using the same ProVari/Kayfun 2+ with the same batch of Vapers Tek Chemnovatic nicotine since 2014... sold over 20 extra ProVari and several spare original Kayfuns (the bulk of my stash) and basically recouped most of my original vape costs ($2,000+).

    still prepared for the Vapocalypse.

Well it sounds like the FDA put the hammer down. Been so busy just stopped by to see how everyone is doing :) Me still vaping my Zenith Pro, I really love that tank. Do I have enough coils to last forever? Time will tell but I think I'll make it LOL

I sold off all my P2.5's (these are all the slant tops with beauty rings). I got too frustrated finding decent button top batts. I did keep 2 P3's and 2 Classic's though (along with a bunch of Radius mods).

I even parted with my very 1st Provari, a black chrome model with a custom carbon fiber tube to protect it's finish.

I never thought I'd part with any of them but I didn't figure on problems sourcing batteries, which finally changed my mind.
