I don't have paypal. I had identity theft happen where they impersonated me and made a paypal account. The hackers were good but I caught it. Paypal is not the greatest either. Hubs had his account hacked/viewed. They didn't hack from paypal but viewed the information and used it. I suppose I'm destined to buy from local vape shops when the need arises.

I placed an order at Health Cabin about a month ago and couldn't believe they took Apple Pay. I've never been able to buy any vaping stuff with that. It's protected since it generates a random card number that is only good for that transaction.

Privacy.com has a free service that masks your debit card info with alternate card information. But it can't be used with a credit card, only a debit card. That might be an option for you.

Or try the VISA gift card option. Worse comes to worst it doesn't work and you just spend the money domestically for groceries or something.

    Another day, another Istick 30W.

I opened my other Istick 30W today (black) that had also been sitting unopened for 5-6 years. Same as the first one, completely dead out of box.

But started charging as soon as I attached charge cable. This one took 2 hours to fully charge, so about the same. However, as soon as I took a drag at 12, the battery indicator drop just a smidge. This battery's not in such good health as the other one I tested yesterday (silver).

Also noticed that the screen on this black one is dimmer than the on the. I tried to take a picture, but on the picture the look about the same. But IRL, the black one's screen is definitely dimmer my maybe 25-33%. I also noticed that the color of the screen on the solver Istick is very much white whereas on the black one it's ha a blue hue. This may be due to the fact that it's dim. I dunno.

I also checked the black one against my unusable 30W and 20W isticks that have seen extensive use in their lives, and the black one is dimmer than those, however the silver one I busted out yesterday is brighter than all of them. Heck, it could be the screen on the silver one is too bright? lol

Hard to say if what I'm experiencing with the black one is due to long term storage because for all I know the black one is a mildly defective unit. No clue. Both were bought at the same time using the same vendor.

I haven't yet tested the black one so I have no idea how long one charge is gonna last but so far looks like may not as long as the silver. Too early to say. The battery indicator dropping almost immediately isn't a good indicator of how long I'll get out of it between charges.

I haven't put the black one through as much use as the silver. I'd say I vaped it about 8 hours all in all because today isn't a good day for 12W MTL vaping for me. Would have been more but I had to use my DL vapes a lot today. It reached the halfway mark on the battery indicator. So I would say this battery's health is maybe about as good as the silver one. I'm not going to leave it at that because the tank is out of juice and I don't feel like filling it since I want to get back to DL vaping right now.

Since I'm here I'll report that I brought home a Daedalus Pro kit from the nearby vape shop. I watched a couple youtube videos on it and will give it a try one of these days. Interesting that the buildup of the wrap seems to push the spool piece across the table. I wouldn't have thought that the wire would stay straight with that compressive force on it. It includes dies to make fused claptons, up to 3 cores, I think. If this works out, there will be no more worries about getting fancy wire.

I have one of those. FInding a wire spool that fits it can be a bit of an issue. Not undoable just a pain. Temco spools dont fit. For the life of me I cant remember the name of the place I found with spools that fit. I just kept the spools and wind temco wire onto them as its much cheaper.

I think it was Lightning vapes and they changed to something maybe wire optim? Sorry its been a long time and I just don't remember any more clearly. It was the store that was involved in the creation of the device.

Read the bulletin, doesn't look that scary. Still wondering why heartland nic is so cheap compared to the others.

Heartland has always been one of the least expensive. I think they decided to do business as usual instead of price gouging. Probably a little over half of my nic in my stash is Heartland. I've never had an issue with it.

    Thanks

Awhile back, I had tons of nic stashed, but returned to smoking after breaking foot, and smoking sister came to visit. The goodies have since been tossed (declutter before move).

Another thing is, I don't know if I want to vape forever. I may use up the 6mg and 3mg bottles i have (or are on the way), then go to 0mg flavor, and then 0 mg unflavored, to eventually quit vaping (I am 62). but, I keep an eye on everything, and may order a couple bottles of nic just in case. The calculator says each bottle should last a year or two the way I vape.

If you can go to 0mg then that's great and you don't have to worry about stocking up quickly and the pending vaping taxes that are trying to be passed. I'm not sure what size bottles you are buying. All of mine are 100mg and I broke the liters down into smaller glass bottles to store in my freezer.
