I'm just shocked.
I have a couple of Istick 30W mods that I bought in 2015 or maybe 2016. These were never opened and I opened one last night. It wouldn't turn on so I thought the battery was completely dead from sitting 5-6 years, which is what I expected.
Nope.
As soon as I plugged it into a charger I was able to turn it on, albeit with no battery life enough to vape, but it took a charge. It took about 2-2.5 hours to fully charge and then I removed the charge cable and let it sit until this morning.
I've been chain vaping it today, all day. First at 20W DL for a half hour, then when I saw the battery indicator only moved one notch down, I switched to MTL vaping on an EVOD at 12W. I started at about 8am and the indicator is just now approaching halfway mark, but not quite.
It's amazing! It's obvious that this battery hasn't been damaged much, if at all, by sitting uncharged and unused for 5-6 years. At this rate I'm guessing I'll be going to bed right about when it shows it's half way depleted. But maybe not, I've been really hammering this thing and I'm getting vaped-out lol.
It's awesome they still make these, just too bad they cost more than they are worth IMHO. I always hesitate buying integrated battery mods that I believe are old stock, but from what I experienced now, I would take a chance on these if I found them on clearance for $15 or less and thought they might be old stock.
These are so tiny, a perfect replacement for eGo batteries. Much more efficient and pocket friendly.
