I remember when I first came to the forum and there was all kinds of sales and stuff going on and I didn't know anything I had been using like a little all-in-one thing that got me off cigarettes so I can't complain.

But I was buying rebuildables because I wanted to be a little bit more future-proof thinking that I wouldn't spend very much money and I would have at least something. And then I also wanted to have some tanks i branched out into sub ohm tanks but only if they had an RBA. I wanted to use the RBA as a backup as a forever backup that I would only use if I had to otherwise I would use my RTA or my RDA.

And now the Pinnacle of my vaping enjoyment is rbas. I love a good single coil RBA more than I love any RTA or RDA that I own. I don't know that there's any other person that if asked if I could only use one rebuildable device for the rest of my life would answer a single coil RBA LOL who'd have thought?

The thing that I bought for when I ran out of coils is the only thing I use when I have literally 500 coils that are compatible for any baby beast accepting device and I've used three because I like the RBA...

And right now my favorite RBA in the entire market out of all of the many rbas that I have tried is the stupid lost vape ub pro RBA. That and the geek vape blade are the only vape devices that I bought multiples of LOL and they're all I use. Except right now I'm using the coil that came with the vaporesso kit that I won on top of a blade LOL

Likewise, "stuck" on Kayfun 5/se, Skylines, Primes, I did order the Kayfun X because why not, but not too much evolution happening with open systems; I think the "golden age" has wrapped up and we're in the wasteland years.

Where did you purchase the "X"? I used to buy frequently from Creme de Vape but it seems you have to jump through hoops now to purchase from them.

I'm not surprised. I have a pretty good stock of DNA boards, and although I'm perfectly capable of doing it, I decided pretty quickly that replacing them was a major pain in the backside, and besides, they tended to fail at the most inconvenient time.

I have over 90 DNA mods at last count and I only had 3 boards fail. And all three it was the BMIC (Battery Management IC) that failed. I too have plenty of spare boards and screens available.

Wow! I think I might have 10 dna mods. I do have well over a hundred of other ones though.

I think it's time for a little practical common sense here.

Any mod hoard over 200, OK, maybe 250, is probably adequate.

Looks like I've got some shopping to do then. I'm sure I must be way under 250. That doesn't include pods right?

I tried a couple times to inventory everything but it’s just too much. I do have lists for eight containers.
Lists are important to save time hunting through those containers.

I stick to just four, otherwise my wife might notice them.

That picture is how I feel sometimes. I have two large tubs, six long rectangular tubs, multiple cardboard boxes, and a cabinet full of mixing supplies. Not to mention a pile of review samples on my desk.

It must be hard to come up with a good sort, with new review stuff continuously adding to the hoard. I've had to re box a number of times, but as my buying has ground to a halt I may be able to make sense of all this stuff. Part of the problem is my keeping things in their original boxes.

The last time I went through it I separated things I'd be willing to let go from the main stockpile. Suddenly I feel like I'm writing the script of a Hoarders episode.

I do that, as well. And actually find it, for me, to be the best solution. Whatever it is, any and all spare parts, tiny manuals, all together. I'm willing to sacrifice a bit of storage space for that convenience. (And it does make it simple to pif or sell the item, as well, factory pack and all.)

It is an issue with the review samples. I hate to throw out anything in case I need it for a pic or something for another review. I have been keeping a dump box for review samples that I really need to go through. I’m just not sure where I’m going to put them. I forgot to mention the eight or so smaller plastic containers with coils and accessories in them.

I use one of these for boxes of coil heads, grouped by application. This holds most all the heads not currently in the rotation. The everyday heads have their own boxes.

One drawer is currently dedicated to a ton of Aspire Spryte pods, each one holding a 1.8 ohm BVC. I bought them when Eightvape had them for a quarter with the intent to harvest the coils. Unable to bring myself to do it yet, I ended up buying a couple Sprytes on clearance lol.
