Actually found some boxes of 0.5 regular Kanger OCC coils at Element vape. Was going to grab some boxes for my Dad's birthday unless someone knows of a better deal, they're $13 a box and I know I was getting them cheaper from Kanger Wholsale, who now it looks like doesn't carry coils.

The way things are, if You find something that you will Use and is at a Reasonable Price, I would just buy it.

If anyone needs drop-in coils, tanks, replacement glass, etc. etc.... you might want to check out the 15% off sitewide Sale....that HealthCabin.net has going on now. It started April 28th and ends tomorrow, May 10th.

Just some examples of good Innokin stuff at really great prices are:

Innokin Z-Coils starting at $6.73 box (and that's before the 15% off discount)
Various versions of the Zenith tanks starting at just $13.01 before the discount
    Replacement glass for dirt cheap
Lots of Innokin mods and mod/tank kits, like the Z80 Box Mod Kit with Zenith II tank for $40.06 before the discount.

Some of the Eleaf stuff at great prices are:

Eleaf 30W iStick Mods (in Silver) are only $20.70 before the discount
GS Air series coils - starting at $5.33 box, before the discount

Those are just a tiny sample of what they still carry, and it seems that it's ALL much lower priced than what US vendors are still charging.

I haven't bought from china in a while, and for sourcemore in particular it's been 2 years and 4 months. Prices on the stuff I bought in my last order haven't changed but shipping's gone through the roof! On my last SM order, shipping was $67 for a bunch of mods and coils (87 units in total, with a weight of 4.2kg). That same exact order is now $156 for shipping lol.

    Done.

I ordered a couple of Innokin Z80 mods from Sourcemore, they were pretty cheap, $24 each. Way cheaper than anywhere in the US. Shipping was $17. Still a lot cheaper than getting them here.

Took 10 days before I got a shipping notification from SM with a shipping company I never heard of. Neither the shipper nor 17Track show the shipping number 4 days later. One of the sites says 14 to 24 days shipping time. One of the sites said they might not arrive until Jul.

Actually that's the first time I've ordered from China since FT closed down. It was an impulsive purchase and probably the last one.

I actually thought it was coming from the US. On the Sourcemore site it said it was coming from a bonded warehouse which I thought meant in the US.

Interesting. I wonder if my large order is the culprit? An order that large comes in a rather large box (about 12x12x24) and is (was) ultimately delivered FedEx. It could be the alternate carriers they use are insane on large packages. I might try to split the order up to see what total shipping would be if each package in under a certain weight.

I ran a sample order the other day at Sourcemore and they wanted $25.81 to ship ten boxes of gti coils.

I just checked 10 packs of protank coils, which are considerably lighter, and those came (rounded shipping)

    10 packs = $15 shipping
    20 packs = $20 shipping
    30 packs = $26 shipping
    40 packs = $30 shipping
    50 packs = $34 shipping

Higher than it used to be total cost but likely cheaper to some small extent than buying form USA site, if you can find them anymore. It's just not a "fantastic" deal anymore.
Aaah, the good old days.

I also noticed at Sourcemore the checkout says...

"Note: We cover all customs fees, you won't pay any additional taxes for U.S. delivery."

That's new compared to the past. Chinese retailers used to tell you taxes and such are your responsibility. That must be their way of removing one barrier to hitting that "purchase" button. That's figured into cost. I trust it to some degree because I have had to "return" defective products 2 times to SM and they honored it with proof. They sent me new units both times at their expense, no actual return required. Rather painless process.

Anyhow, none of this is too too surprising as I saw people online complaining about costs from Chinese marketplaces like AliExpress going up back when the tariff war thing happened. But I never knew if it was true since people complain about a lot of "facts" that aren't always facts, just ragebaiting.

17track is great but try the shop app if they won't track something. Seems to have more range.

I’m so glad I stocked up long ago when prices were still pretty reasonable.
    Yup.

    But put it in perspective...

A liter of 100 mg base will last the average DYI vaper several years and costs maybe $120 these days.

How many packs of cigs, could you buy for $120 where you are and how long would they last you if you still had your former habit?

How many disposable vapes could you buy for $120 and how long would they last you?
